Isn't cloud mining just a ponzi scheme designed to get people to hand over there hard earned BTC?

I am not signing up with you guys. Sorry.

Hashnest, Bit-X and BW are legitimate and have exchanges where you can buy and sell hashing power. Genesis Mining is legitimate far as anyone knows just not transparent. Are they practicing fractional reserve mining? No one knows. Once you buy from GM you are stuck with it though. Hashnest is the hosted mining arm of Bitmain who introduced the S7 miner last month. S7 hash will trade on Hashnest about October 10 with maintenance fees half the best GM has to offer. Meaning no one with the smarts to research before they buy will be buying at GM until they update their hardware and lower maintenance fees.

Will be posting BTC (AUTO) payouts based on 1MH/s X11 tomorrow so can compare with all the different Hashnest and GM contracts. Then when S7 hashpower is available will be purchasing that too so everyone can compare payouts with all from both.

Well, not all. Bitmain has hashnest and others have their own cloud mining services aswell.
If it is a ponzi or not is quite "simple" to detect, especially in referal program earnings above 2,5% it is likely to be a ponzi, etc, etc, etc...

Cool!  How do we interpret the spikes on payout line?  What are they?

The spikes are missing payouts for 24h which were paid out the next day + the regular payment of the next day  Roll Eyes

Now it makes sense!

Not sure..are they errors, glitches..if you look at the date axis then this graph has covered many months. It covers February to October.

Just wish they would get up enough so that those including me with the older contracts can get out of this 20 day no payout thing as time is running out.

Chart for the past 30 days ending with mining day 9/28...I can't get the S7s I ordered so I'll just keeping looking at these charts...

Thought of giving a try to Genesis Mining, but confused why so much variance is there. I'm mining at www.CloudMining.website for more then six months now and the payout is steady. For a fixed hash power payout is more or less inversely proportional to the network difficulty. Moreover, bitcoin price did not experience any huge change in last six months. So, this graph makes me doubtful.

The payout is not fixed though because the BTC/USD exchange rate will also effect the payouts.

If you look at my thread here, payouts are pretty stable with GM compared to the daily payouts with Hashnest.

Hello Genesis Mining Community.

Today we are pleased to announce our X11 mining contracts.

Contracts are for 1 year in duration and all fees are included in the upfront cost, including Maintenance. So nothing more to pay and no daily fees to be removed.

Those of you who have been customers for a while will also be part of our Loyalty Program and more on that will be sent out in an email.

With our X11 contracts you can allocate hashpower to the following coins.

Dash (DRK). As Dash is an X11 native coin, this is mined directly and payouts are in DRK.

Start (START). Another X11 native coin, again mined directly.

BTC (AUTO) Using the Autotrade function on the X11 Mining allocation screen, profitable X11 coins at the time are mined and the daily payout is automatically traded to BTC and paid out as BTC.

We will be adding some more coins to allocate hashpower to soon.

Pricing

All contracts are 1 year and include all costs including maintenance, electricity. No more to pay.

If you are a member of our Loyalty Program then you will get an automatic discount of 5% off your X11 hashpower orders.

1 MH/s  = $24    ($24 per MH/s)   With Loyalty Discount $22.80 USD

20 MH/s = $420  ($21 per MH/s) With Loyalty Discount $399.00 USD

100 MH/s = $1,900.00 ($19 per MH/s)   With Loyalty Discount $1,805.00 USD

With my 17 kw of solar panels going active in about 5 days I wish I could buy an S7.

On the other hand it might be best to wait until Batch 2 so that any bugs get worked out.

Well, they are selling Batch2 and Batch3 already  Wink

8 days till all old contracts will be terminated roughly a year of mining for me sad sad story but what you gonna do. We can still hope for a miracle in bitcoin difficulty drop or price rise but neither seems plausible at the moment. So guys i wish you all the best i am out of this thread.

greetings dead

It seems that we are all heading that way sooner than we hoped...happy trails!
