Paderborn trusts its coach and has therefore extended the contract with Lukas Kwasniok. Actually the contract would have expired in summer 2023. But now Paderborn has extended the contract early. It runs until summer 2025. Tonight Paderborn plays against Darmstadt.

and we'll definitely see beautiful bengal fire again tomorrow evening and both clubs will pay for it. Grin

Hamburg already has to pay 93.300 euros for bengal fire. That was because of the games against Braunschweig and Rostock.

yes. that's a lot of money for the club. but the "fans" will make blue or red fire again today . they don't care if the veigene club has to pay a fine .
they celebrate themselves and think they are the coolest guys in the world .
nevertheless i hope for a great match and some nice goals today . a 3:3 would be ok for me. a 4:4 even better  Wink
and the other friday game can also end 2:2 or 3:3.  ( paderborn : darmstadt )
both matches start at 6:30pm and will be shown live on sky

edit:

hamburger sv wins today's match at hannover 96 with 2:1 and stays on place 1 in the 2. bundesliga.
königsdörfer scored the decisive goal for hamburg in injury time. in the other friday match darmstadt also won with 2:1 at paderborn.

This is an important matchday for the top 4. With a win, they can take the point from their direct rivals. That are two 6 points games.
Very exciting indeed.
Hanover had a difficult start. But now they are where they want to be. Hannover is seen by many as a secret favourite for promotion. On Friday evening we will know more if they will live up to this role.

49k fans will be in the stadium in hannover. that's a 1.bundesliga atmosphere.
from hamburg i'm sure more than 5k fans will come to support the hamburger team. i'm really curious who will be the winner in this game.

That is also a point that the fans say. They can not imagine to play in the 1st Bundesliga. Many are glad that they were not promoted to the 1st Bundesliga last season. But now, of course, there is the risk that they will play against relegation. Okay, I would not say that is the case yet. But they have to win some games. Otherwise they will certainly be in the lower part of the table.
I don't think so. If Pauli is able to qualify for the first Bundesliga then I think they will get sponsors. I wouldn't be surprised even if a big company is interested in buying the club. Pauli's team's performance was impressive but lacked consistency. They won't be short of sponsors if they manage to qualify for the Bundesliga. Personally. I like the style of pay of Pauli.
St. Pauli has sponsors currently and they will also have sponsors in the future. Of course. But what I meant was that many fans do not want to promote. They fear that many of the principles that the club currently stands for will no longer be the same then. But in order to be promoted at all St. Pauli has to start winning. They are 8 points away from 3rd place and 2 points away from place 16. On Saturday they will play against Heidenheim.

It really feels like some excuse to justify the bad performance of the team. I mean who does not want to get promoted and have good sponsors?

If the team is promoted good things will start happening and even though a few people are not going to like what's happening at that time, they are going to get used to it after a while. After all, promotion is the main target right now for the team. But the way Pauli is playing right now they are not going to get promoted. The next match is against Heidenheim and I am quite sure that st Pauli is not going to win this one.

i think the most interesting match on the weekend will be hannover against hamburger sv. two very good teams.
hannover strengthened themselves with some good players before the season. there is no favourite on friday.
both teams can win the match. in the other match on friday paderborn plays against darmstadt. this match is also very interesting.
i don't see a clear favourite here either. but I think paderborn will win. all 4 teams in these two games are among the top 4 in the 2.bundesliga.

i think st. pauli should stay in the second bundesliga.
the club only has a small stadium and no billionaires as sponsors either.
st. pauli simply belongs in the 2.bundesliga.

Well, for me Aaron Opoku has a great future, the fact that he has been given a red card does not mean that he has got there, this is the 2nd Bundelisga, all the players want to stand out, he must be very motivated when he meets the sanction of his team, for this reason I think he has to arrive with much more desire to show what he is, and not get carried away by things as small as a red card, it is well known that these teams somehow emerged and can reach the Bundesliga and it is something that is pursued, but Aaron Opoku is missing a lot, I know he is 23 years old, but the professional life of a footballer is very short, now more than ever he must be more focused.
He surely can make mistakes but that doesn't mean his career will end up from him getting a red card suspension but that suspension is 5 matchdays long, pretty he will come back on October 3, 2022, so he will surely miss a lot of those game day but I think he can still train so he better just stay put and trained a lot until that day he can play again and pretty much many players in the 2nd Bundesliga really wants to standout,

Aaron Opoku has played well in the last season. Taking a look at the stats, we can see that he scored three goals last season and that he also had 13 assists to his credit during the same season. In my opinion, that is a good performance for a player who has made 32 appearances so far. There is no doubt that that is nothing out of the ordinary. Even so, this is an impressive performance for a player who is playing in the second division of the German football league. The age of this young man is only 23 years old. There is no doubt that he has a lot of time on his side. This means that these simple suspensions are not going to have a severe effect on his career, if that is what people are thinking.

Ah, of course, from the point of view of those suspensions, it is not that they will end his career, far from it, that is something normal in football, but what if he loses is that they see him have a little more fame, a player of the second Bundesliga is a player who currently has a high level, ´because this 2nd Bundesliga has quite a public and is now attracting many bettors, in fact I am one of the people who advise casinos to do something good to include these bets, some have taken my idea, what I recommend is because already in the middle of thermoprada and at the end of the season this championship closes a lot and begins to look very exciting.

Taking into account everything that St Pauli has done since last season I think that they deserve to go to the Bundesliga, for me the players do very well, if St Pauli goes to the first division I am sure that they will get a sponsor, which many think that teams like St Pauli are weak, but this team when it says to play, they do it in a spectacular way, perhaps at the beginning they did not take advantage of the opportunities well and are somewhat far from the classification, but for me it has all the characteristics to be in the Bundesliga, I think they need a little more definition when they reach the area to kick.

St. Pauli has disappointed me so far. I had also thought that they would be in the top 7. But when you look at it soberly the performance from St. Pauli is adequate. They have started to play worse in January. And in the summer some important players left. But this weekend they will not play. Maybe they can use this time to clear their heads.

Pauli has won only 2 matches out of 9 matches. I didn't think they would start this season so badly. I forget the last time they won a match. We won't see the Pauli side at the top of the points table this season. And if this performance continues, the Pauli team will not be in the top 10 of the points table. Pauli will play against Heidenheim in the next match. I think Pauli will be defeated in this match as usual.

yes. you're right. but other clubs have also lost good players. maybe the team really needs a little more time to play better.
but then it's too late and the distance to the top is too far away. i think st. pauli should stay in the second bundesliga.

Who would have thought that Paderborn would lose against Fürth? Not me, at any rate. This keeps Hamburger SV in first place. This is the first win for Fürth and a very important one. Fürth also wanted to win this game. You could see that at the beginning. After the draw they still scored a goal and brought 3 points home.

SC Paderborn's 2-1 loss to Greuther Fürth clearly shows that Paderborn is not yet as strong as many experts thought.

Of course, the first defeat after six games against the table's last team comes as a surprise, but it is also a pointer to SC Paderborn in which aspects there is still (considerable) room for improvement if they really want to move up to the 1st Bundesliga at the end of this season. I'm curious to see whether SC Paderborn will get back on track next matchday at home against Darmstadt or whether a bigger crisis is now looming.

This was a completely unexpected result. Paderborn was the top team in the points table. On the other hand, Furth was at the bottom of the table. And it was Furth's first win of the season.

I will say that due to the stupidity of Paderborn, they were defeated. They considered the Furth team weak. And so did not play with full effort. Paderborn trailed 1-0 in the first half and equalized early in the second half. But after Furth went 2-1 up in the 73rd minute, Paderborn couldn't come back. As they attack the minions, Furth is able to successfully repel all attacks. Paderborn should have performed more carefully.

that's a big surprise: paderborn loses at greuther fürth with 1:2 . that's what i hoped . but really didn't expect.
and regensburg wins against st. pauli with 2:0 .
and also kaiserslautern won another point today. they drew at heidenheim 2:2.
here's the new situation in the 2.bundesliga  Wink

Another surprising result. what is happening to the big and stronger team in almost all the leagues?

They are losing against teams that they really should not be losing against.
Just for some contact, Paderborn was most probably in the first place on the table, and they went against the team which was absolutely at the bottom of the table.
Somehow Paderborn loses that match.

This season, ST Pauli has also been unable to perform up to expectations. They do not seem like a team that should be in 12th place on the table.
FCK only lost one match out of the nine they have played this season. That's some positive I believe.

I thought we would see the Pauli team at the top of the points table this season. But this season their performance is weaker. They have won only 2 out of 6 matches and managed to get only 8 points. They are in the 11th position in the points table. Despite Pauli's decline, Paderborn and Darmstadt are playing well. I think both these teams will be able to qualify for the Bundesliga.
St pauli, the results that they have produced are not satisfactory at all
so far, they have played six matches
as a team, they aren't performing well, winning two games, they are expected to be at the top of the table but they are more towards the bottom right now
but obviously, there is a long way to go in this season and i think this will change, but they will have to improve a lot and play a lot better compared to what they did in the first few matches till now
Paderborn is still playing very well, they are able to hold on to the first position in the second Bundesliga, and i expect them to finish in the top two
Well, there is still a lot to play for this season, we are at a time when they cannot stay or be careless, we are aware that this team was one of the defenders of last season, it gave many of us a lot of pain because they have not been promoted to the Bundesliga, everything was very even, even teams that we did not think were going to go far managed to position themselves among the top positions, in fact I was one of the people who advised some casino and sports betting sites to put the 2nd Bundesliga as an option for bet, this for the amount of emotions that aroused, I am sure that this season will be the same or better.

it was actually heartbreaking, what happened with them was really unbelievable, they had the promotion in their reach, but yet it was so far, they had some bad matches and bad luck in the later part of the season

it is sad to say that they have not started this season well either, the form doesn’t look good, they have also been inconsistent, if they want to have another goal at the promotion, they will have to improve their performance, and they will have to do it quickly
otherwise, they will be in a position from where it will be really hard to make a comeback

Yes, it is clear that they need to improve because they should not stay further back, it is very easy to descend and lose a lot of position, last season I said that the secret for this team not to suffer was that it should make its maximum effort from the beginning, and if they make this effort from the beginning, they will not be so strong at the end, because thanks to the fact that they also started badly last season, everything became complicated for them, but it is not too late, they have to leave with the same motivation, honestly, I want to see St Pauli in the Bundesliga, I think the players deserve it, but they have to do it and give it their all from now on, not to lose again.

darmstadt won 2:0 against nürnberg today and climbs to second place in the 2.bundesliga .
hansa rostock wins 3:1 against magdeburg . bielefeld wins in a super exciting match 4:2 against kiel .
tonight at 20:30 hsv plays against düsseldorf . if hsv wins hsv is first in the 2.bundesliga at least till tomorrow

Quelle: https://www.bundesliga.com/de/2bundesliga/spieltag

Edit:

HSV : Düsseldorf 2:0

Without a doubt, DARMSTADT is one of the teams that fell behind last season, but at the rate they are going I think they can do many good things, if they continue to maintain this level that they have, I think we can be talking about an undisputed leader, I know that it is too early to say that they will take first place but seeing how they are playing it is very likely that they could have great success, if they do not want what happened last season to happen, which team could become the first So one of the best strategies is to get first and stay there if possible throughout the tournament, they can and they have the players to do it, again I would like St Pauli to climb much higher.
