Congratulations to Kaiserslautern. An important victory for the team.
Today St. Pauli played against Nürnberg. Each team played a better half. But St. Pauli scored 3 goals in their half and Nürnberg only managed 2 goals.
Tomorrow there is still the game Braunschweig against Hamburger SV.

@Soonandwaite I’m kinda disappointed as I was expecting Hannover 96 to win this fixture, but it looks like that they’ll need to put in lots of hard work if they want better results this season. Also you’re right it was very close and the match could definitely have ended in a draw, and matches like these are the reason why I avoid wagering on the opening matches as there’s lot of uncertainty regarding the team’s form.

yes...you're right. betting on the first games is always a high risk. normally hannover should have won. they are one of the favourites this season.
they have signed some good new players and of course want to play at the top this year. but other teams also want to win.
and when you play against a favourite, the teams do their best to beat the favourite. and that's exactly what happened yesterday.
they fought until the last minute and won the game 2-1 in the end.

and that was definitely not the last surprise this season. maybe braunschweig will also win against hsv tomorrow. Wink

the first match of the second Bundesliga of the 2022/2023 season is over.
the red devils ( Kaiserslautern) have won against Hannover 96 with 2: 1.
the stadium of kaiserslautern was sold out . almost 40K fans could see the match . the decisive goal was scored until the 92 minute !
i bet on a draw 1:1. until shortly before the end it looked very good..but then  Roll Eyes

I think for Kaislerslautern this season it is all about not getting relegated. In the third league it was an up and down. At the beginning they were at a relegation spot and then they played really well. In the end, they have got worse again and only a change of the coach secured the third place. I do not think they are stable enough to play calmly.

Ha ha. If your "favourite club #2" does not play a good season you will be the first one to write about it here.  I can bet about that Wink Cheesy
I am also happy that it is starting again. I do not have a clear favourite yet. Will wait for the first 5-7 match days and then we should be able to see.
I have a favourite Club ( FC Nürnberg ) but i guess it will be hard for the coming and tomorrow starting second league for every team.
We all know the history of Nürnberg and i really hope that they can manage it to get up again into the First German League.

About the opening game Kaiserslautern against Hannover i dont know who will win that and i will say FCK at home can do it .

Vaccinized.. immunity level is full.
It's a shame I think when Jann-Fiete Arp came to Bayern Munich his career was not smooth because he was often plagued with injuries and also, while playing for Hamburger Jann-Fiete Arp basically did not have a high contribution to the team. I'm just surprised, Bayern Munich actually signed him and in the end just to play in Bayern 2 it was a bad career because he only played in the Bayern Regionalliga and we can say it was the fourth division. But finally Jann-Fiete Arp can continue to play at Holstein Kiel, at least it will be good to shape his career better because he plays in the 2. Bundesliga at the age of 22 years.
Fiete Arp is only 22 years of age, he has a lot of time ahead of him. So, there is no need for him to worry about anything. He should just concentrate on playing and how to get better. He will surely be recognized by teams from the Bundesliga if he can show his abilities in the second Bundesliga.
If he can move to a team that is in the Bundesliga and performs really well he will surely be targeted by a lot of big teams. I just feel like he was never given the chance of reaching his full potential. Now he has to work really hard to get recognized once again.

Well, at least he will get a lot more playtime than he wants to. I hope that he will be able to show a particularly effective performance. Because if he does, he will be able to attract attention. In his career so far he has not done anything really worth bragging about. And I really think that this is probably his time to shine. I hope that he will also be able to contribute to the team because his team's result is going to be essential for his success.

Jann-Fiete Arp was a young player with a lot of hope at Hamburger SV. However he went to Bayern Munich in 2019 and has only been allowed to play in the second team in the season 2020/21. He was then loaned to Kiel in 2021. Now he has signed a contract there until 30 June 2024.

i'm also looking forward to the 2. bundesliga, but i won't follow it as intensively as i did last season ... some users here know why Wink
for me, the promoted 1. fc kaiserslautern could be one of the surprise teams, have strengthened themselves very well and have with the stadium and their fans a very good means, if it is then about everything or nothing.
hamburger sv is again one of the big favorites this season, but at the end of the season will again not make the promotion to the 1. bundesliga Grin

haaaa you are right. hsv is a favourite for promotion almost every year . and every year they have fucked up the promotion .
i think this season it could really work out. they have lost few good players .
but they have also added good players. no stars like in the past.... but this time young and with ambition.

and yes.....lautern...the hot betzenberg with over 30k devils  Wink

Personally ,I think Jann-Fiete Arp would have been a better player if he didn't sign for  Bayern Munich in 2019, The player was doing very well despite not giving much support to his team Hamburger. Fiete's signing for Bayern Munich didn't improve him because he never enjoyed much playing time before he was hit with a series of injuries in the club and coming out of the injury he was loaned out.

Now that he has been officially signed, I believe that he will try to improve himself because he is still young and also talented so this is the time for him to brighten his career as a professional player since he has had a lot of bad times. The opportunity has been given to him to give his best so that he can also move to the club where he will be seen in the first division.

For me, the Pauli thing was very hard, because it was one of the teams that fought the most and was in first place on several occasions, I think that for this season they will be able to go up to the first division, it really is a team that deserves it, great emotions were experienced right to that team, and right now I know they're not going to waste the opportunity.

Pauli's team's performance last season was not bad. They tried but failed. They lost the truck in the last few matches of the season. As a result they were in fifth place at the end of the season. Pauli was 3 points behind third-placed Hamburger. Pauli's players must perform consistently if they want to retain the top spot at the table next season. They can't be in the top two of the table if they can't be consistent. Darmstadt and Nurnburg are not weak opponents.
If you look and compare the actual condition of St Pauli this season is the same as Napoli in Serie A. Their performance at the start was very good and indeed it was proven by them being at the top without even bothering for a few weeks.
But indeed in the middle of the season they began to falter and lose and began to be overtaken by other teams.
It's a shame, but they have to improve from now on so that what happened this season doesn't happen again next season.
Well I am one of the most faithful believers in St Pauli, but they are right, if St Pauli does not improve they will not be able to do much and that gives some sadness, Darmstadt is one of the toughest teams in the 2nd Bundeliga, and I think that this fact will make this time much more exciting, for me both Pauli and Darmstadt cannot be left out again, I think it is time for them to have a winning mentality where they can enter the first division Bundesliga, for me In terms of merit, they have everything to be able to compete, they only have to handle that type of errors that sometimes make them lose, injuries are a key factor, the players have to be at 100%.

St. Pauli has signed David Otto a few days ago. He comes from TSG Hoffenheim. He was previously on loan to Heidenheim and Regensburg. So far  he has not been able to establish himself at both clubs. Furthermore he is a U20 national player. I hope that he will make his breakthrough at St. Pauli and will score many goals.

David Otto's performance last season at Jahn Regensburg was not good. He scored only 3 goals in the 21-22 season and only 1 goal in the 20-21 season. I don't 't think that Pauli will benefit much from David otto now. Pauli's coach will now have to take on the responsibility of developing David Otto. But he is not sure how successful he will be.

Arsenal in club friendlies and to be honest,

The friendlies are always great to watch as a fan. Also because the ticket prices for these games are not very high during the summer break and it is therefore also feasible to go with the whole family.
Here I have found a list with the next test matches. Also for the 1st Bundesliga: https://www.bundesliga.com/de/bundesliga/news/testspiele-teams-clubs-vorbereitung-termine-fahrplan-uberblick-20226

7 or 8 million euros transfer fee. that's how much hsv wanted for Vagnoman. that was the big dream of money.
but hsv is now only getting 3.7 million euros plus bonuses. any other club would have got 10 million for Vagnoman.
the transfer is to be officially announced today. i think it's a good move. the guy is injured too often.  Grin
Josha ..........good luck in stuttgart   Wink
Yes, it's a problem when they get injured very often, usually these types of players usually put them in at the end of games, or they give them half an hour, that's what happens to DiMaria noodle, the Argentine.

Injury has been a big problem for this player. Otherwise, I am also sure that HSV could have easily gotten €7 or €8 million for this player. But, I think he’s going to have a good time because he is still very young and he has a lot of time ahead of him. And he certainly has plenty of potential. I just hope that Stuttgart will be able to unlock his full potential.

Nurnberg hosted North London side, Arsenal in club friendlies and to be honest, I didn't expect them to stand a chance at winning. They actually started beautifully, with the Gunners having possession of the ball and making attempts at goal, but the first half was not on their favor.
Of there is one thing the Gunners know how to do best against small clubs is to turn the game around on its head and that was what they did in second half with Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel martinelli and co all having a slice of the cake.

Elneny did well. Totally impressed with his goal. Absolutely love his shots from outside the box. Alson, what a way for Jesus to start his career in Arsenal. Lovely play between him Nelson and then Nketiah. I believe we are in for a very exciting season with these players. In addition, I must confess that I have to agree with consensus that Arsenal must keep Leno but then we must cut Matt Turner some slack in today's game. Let's watch his performance in other games before we draw any conclusions.
