David Kinsombi has now found a new club. he is moving from hamburger sv to sv sandhausen.
and David K. will receive an additional 250k euros from hsv.  Grin

David Kinsombi moved from holstein kiel to hsv for 3 million euros in 2019 !
Kittel and Vagnoman are also expected to leave, but these two players are expected to bring in a transfer fee . how much > Huh?
Sometimes teams make big mistakes, and they do pay for it later on. I would guess that it is going to take a while before all of the dust is settled, it is not easy to sell your bundesliga level players, and get bundesliga 2 level of players, or build a team that could build a bundesliga 2 winners level, all of that is hard.

When you are at the top division, all you have to do is not to relegate, you can finish 14th and it would still be fine for these clubs, they are not after winning every game and its fine. But when you are here, you need every sale, and every transfer so that you could get high again, which will take a lot of wins to get there and a lot of money well spent.

That would definitely be a loss for Hamburger SV. Sonny Kittel has a contract until the summer of 2023, so this would be the penultimate chance for Hamburger SV to get good money for him. Only he can know why he wants to go abroad. But he is already 29 years old and at that age it will certainly be his almost last move to a good club.
It seems that there has been direct communication from Sony Kattel with several Bundesliga teams and overseas teams regarding his desire to change clubs in this transfer window. HSV was really left behind by their star players after they went down to the bundesliga 2. maybe this is the meaning of player loyalty is difficult to get if a team has to go down to the caste to league 2.  one side of kattel contract will expire next season may also be a reference for HSV to take the right decision .

It is obviously really hard for any team to get a player's trust if they are not able to get good results in spite of the star player performing well. So, it is really understandable to me if he actually wants to leave the team. He has realized that he has a better future in any other team that is better than his current team, overall I think this was the right decision. But I think Hamburger will take the right decisions regarding their players and they will improve.

the hamburger sv will probably lose another player. jonny Kittel will probably leave the club.
where he will go is not yet clear. but the tendency says that he will go to european countries.
sonny Kittel is a good second division player. but to become a great player he lacks the ambition of steffan effenberg or lothar matthäus.  Grin
Sonny Kittel was a pretty good Attacking Midfielder last season and he deserves to be one of the most influential players in HSV. He is good at guarding the midfield with acceleration and movement without the ball sometimes bothering opposing players. but I still haven't found any news about this player's move.
But if I had to choose, I think it would be better for him to stay than at another club and fail to show his performances.

or from a Mario Basler Grin
SK is indeed a very good player for the 2. bundesliga but not more. in my eyes he is too weak or too inconsistent for the 1. bundesliga let alone for other top leagues abroad.
i am very curious to see where he will sign his next contract. for hamburger sv he will definitely be a loss Cheesy

there really is a very explosive duel in the first round of the cup. lübeck against hansa rostock. the stadium in lübeck will be full.
and thousands of fans from rostopck will try to get tickets. the lübeck stadium at the lohmühle is almost full but only 15000 fans will come.
i think that many fans would like to come from rostock. this will be a really very exciting match.
normally rostock would have to win. but in the DFB cup there are often some sensations. why not in lübeck too?

I cannot judge whether it will be an explosive duel or not. But it will definitely be an interesting one. Both teams are playing in the 2nd Bundesliga and therefore known each other. Hansa Rostock won both games against Kiel last season. In my opinion there is no favourite between them.
I think the same for me, in that match the matches are of a normal level, of course for the fans of these teams the games must be very good, but I think that the 2nd Budesliga gets good at the moment that half of it begins, because in the last Bundesliga the teams had a high level, because it was not known who could win, the teams were at such a good level that it was very difficult to predict who would win, in fact I am a fan of the 2nd Bundesliga for that reason, and I hope and I know that this season we will have the same emotions or even more.

@LUCKMCFLY I too agree that it won’t be explosive but it’ll definitely be entertaining and an emotional match, because it’s the finals and both sides fans would want their team to win it. Furthermore both teams have an equal chance of winning it, and during finals the team that keeps calm only wins hence we’ll have to wait and see which team managed to keep their cool, and lastly if you’ll have some predictions for this fixture do share here.

As he is being linked with Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim, I also think that Wolfsburg might not be the best decision for him. That team is just not good for rising players.

Well, I should not say that they are not good but I will obviously say that Hoffenheim does seem to be a lot better in terms of developing young players. I am not going to say that one is leaps and bounds better compared to the other. After all, the player is going to be the one to decide what to do.
In fact, I see the opposite now that Hoffenheim is much more promising than Wolfsburg now, especially if you look at Wolfsburg's condition last season, which was still a lot of upheaval there, obviously this is a little more detrimental /
On the other hand, there is also an option to survive and to hone his abilities even better. Obviously this is also a pretty good choice to do especially with his body condition which is still not too strong in my opinion.

probably a young player will leave hsv. 21 year old josha vagnoman might move to hoffenheim or wolfsburg.
these two clubs are in the 1.bundesliga. but as a player i wouldn't move there. i don't like these two places that much.
but if there is more money a player should leave the club. unfortunately money is often more important than the place where you live.

I saw Vagnoman play a few days ago in the german U21 national team against Poland and he played really well there. I agree that i would probably also not choose to go to Wolfsburg at the moment. They are in a pretty weird state in my opinion in the last 10 years or so. They are probably paying a little higher salaries than the other average Bundesliga clubs because of the money they get from Volkswagen, but that is also the reason why it feels like a club for players that were just not good enough for the best clubs of the Bundesliga.
Hoffenheim seems ok though to me, they have a lot of young players and are also good in developing them. Or Vagnoman just stays 1 or 2 more years at Hamburg.

-.-

But maybe it was the best decision for him and for his career. It is his decision. And he has made it.
In any case, he has had several offers from the 1st Bundesliga (https://www.fussballtransfers.com/a5352709334429647394-glatzel-schalke-ging-trotz-einigung-leer-aus). At Schalke 04, there is even said to have been a verbal contract that only needed to be written.
According to his statement he want to promote with the Hamburger SV to fulfil his mission.

He should take more time to think about moving to another club. And after that, if he thinks that moving to another club will be the best decision for him I think he should move or otherwise he should stay in his current club.

If he feels that he will be able to achieve more with his present club I don't see any reason for a transfer. But Schalke has been playing really well and I don't think it will be a bad decision.

I have just read through his career. He joined HSV when he was 8/9 years old in 2010. In 2018 he played in the profiteam for the first time and was also relegated with them in the same year. He has played 64 games since then. But he was injured very often. It seems that he is more susceptible to it than other players. His contract runs until 2024.
If he change the club I think Hoffenheim would a good place for him. Wolfsburg is still going through a lot of upheaval.

many fans from the 2.bundesliga and also from the hamburger sv thought that robert glatzel would leave the hamburger sv and go to the 1.bundesliga.
robert glatzel had some offers from the bundesliga. but today the press and the hsv announced that glatzel has extended his contract
with the hamburger sv until 2025. that is good for the fans and the club. so he can still score many goals for the hsv in the 2022/2023 season.
https://www.kicker.de/offiziell-glatzel-verlaengert-beim-hsv-bis-2025-904492/artikel

I really don't know about is it a good idea to stay in the second Bundesliga when you are getting offers from teams in Bundesliga?

I thought moving to the Bundesliga will be an improvement for the player but he certainly thinks otherwise. He will obviously be able to score goals playing for Hamburger. I thought it would have been better for him if he actually accepted to play in Bundesliga.

But he has already extended his contract and there is no point saying these things. I hope you will be able to get his team promoted to the Bundesliga and I wish him the best.
Whether it's stupid or a high sense of loyalty to hamburg, but if i personally were in that position i would certainly prefer to go to another club to get a better career , if hamburg were in the bundesliga of course it wouldn't be a problem for him to extend the contract, but in fact currently hamburg remain in the bundesliga 2 but he chose to extend the contract, didn't he take a strange decision when many other big teams wanted to sign him.
Have you ever thought, maybe he is afraid to compete in big clubs?

But a player is surely going to have to think about his career first right?

Otherwise, he is not going to be recognized by the bigger teams. And there will be less progress by the player. If he has the capability of playing for a better team I think he should always go for it. It's not like he is playing for Real Madrid or Liverpool which might be his dream team and he does not want to leave that. I think if he has the chance to play for a better team and do better he should move.

But maybe it was the best decision for him and for his career. It is his decision. And he has made it.

That should be the case, if basically his old club was relegated to the 2nd division of the Bundesliga, of course there is a desire from the player's mind to choose to accept an offer from a Bundesliga club to improve his career and show his ability. But as far as developments go, Rorbert Glatzel has not confirmed his desire to move and also his desire to stay at HSV. maybe he needs some time to think and will give an answer this week. I hope the decision made will be the right choice for his future career. considering Glatzel is still very young and there are still many dreams that he wants to achieve.

I really don't know about is it a good idea to stay in the second Bundesliga when you are getting offers from teams in Bundesliga?

But isn't that exactly the behaviour whicht fans like us expect from the players? Admit to their club? Regardless of whether big money is calling somewhere else? This kind of behaviour is becoming less and less common in our time and I think it is good that he did it.
Besides, we do not know which other clubs wanted him and how often he could play there. He feels good at Hamburger SV and certainly has the trust of the team, the coach and the whole club. And he is happy with that. I think that is great.
