I personally feel that the sacking of Julian Nagelsmann was not a wrong decision. Yes it came at a very difficult time but this was probably the only chance to get Thomas Tuchel as their new coach so they had to sack him back then and not after the season. I think that Nagelsmann was already to pleased with himself and going on this ski trip even though the team has just lost the lead in the Bundesliga was very weird to me.
Reading the statements of many Bayern officials after the sacking of Kahn that it apparentely was the case that Kahn was disliked by most of the FC Bayern employees on the Säbener Straße and that Kahn's advisors also were disliked heavily there.
Almost everyone was relieved when Kahn was sacked.
How can you say it wasn't a wrong decision, that in the end Bayern failed in the Champions League, knocked out by Freiburg at DFB Fokal and hoped that Dortmund slipped in its last match to remain Bundesliga champions. IMO, precisely what Bayern's management did was a blunder that shouldn't have happened. when Nagelsmann was Bayern coach, they were only one point behind Dormund after being knocked out by Leverkusen, correct me if I'm wrong.
on the other hand, Bayern were the only team that was unbeaten until they met against Manchester City.
a hasty decision, if Bayern wanted Tuchel to be their manager. whereas, Bayern could have pre-contracted with Tuchel for the 2023/2024 season and replaced Nagelsmann. ideally, club management will give Nagelsmann time and opportunity until the end of the 2022/2024 season. and as we have seen and witnessed, when Bayern changed coaches, they went through a transitional phase related to the system which caused the team's performance to be unstable. As a result, Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic were fired for everything that happened to Bayern last season.
Now, Tuchel must prove his performance and capacity as a top coach. Anyway, suppose Harry Kane joins Bayern next season. at least, Tuchel has overcome the crisis of the center forward that the team has needed so far. thus, it is certain that Bayern will become a more competitive team.
