Exactly, I agree. Bayern Munich decided to make their manager change very late in the season. They were in a critical time period as well because they were competing in the Champions League and they were in a tough challenge with Dortmund for the Bundesliga title at the same time. I think that it was a really wrong time for them to change their manager because it was a big risk to take as the new manager would need to take his time to adapt to the team even if he was Tuchel.
Because of that it would be unfair to judge Tuchel hard for being eliminated from the Champions League and not being able to pull away from Dortmund in the Bundesliga as well. I also expect a totally different team next season. They would start with signing a top striker this summer which would help them make a big progress. After that they would have a really solid season with Tuchel's strong strategies.

The performance from this team has not been very good this season sadly. So I believe that it is going to be bad for the coach if he cannot bring good results with the team early on in the next season. I expect that there are going to be big changes in the team. I do not care what changes are going to be made as long as the results are going to be positive. I am still highly doubtful about the coach.

Of course, they are going to win the Bundesliga title. But are they actually going to achieve what they want which is winning the Champions League title? I am really doubtful about that. But at the same time if the coach is given time I think he will be able to bring in good results.

Let's assume that Thoman Tuchel has not had the privilege to lead Bayern for a whole season, he should still be given the benefit of the doubt. But it's glaring that he could not perform better than the former coach with his current performance and there will not be an excuse next season as he needs to prove himself to keep his seat there. Bayern Munich was a fearful club in Europe before and I know they would get back there soon, they certainly need some adjustments which I believe Tuchel would be able to fix.

As for them winning the trophy this season, I believe that it might be sure truly unless they make a mistake. They have only two matches to go and Koln can not give them much problem but they must try well against RB Leipzig which could displace them lower to give Dortmund a due advantage.

In my opinion, the biggest chance for a UCL spot belongs to Union Berlin, as you said they have a slightly easier opponent than Freiburg. Talking about Union Berlin, previously people thought that they would be able to break Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga.

But it's all just wishful thinking. Overall, they have done their best, playing for the UCL next season is also not a bad result, because we know how this small team struggles in the Bundesliga.

Freiburg's chance with the conditions of these 2 matches which were quite tough actually seemed to have closed its chances in the Champions League.
I don't want to rule them out in the competition but as you said the opponents are quite tough so of course if they lose points again in this game it's certain they can only defend their Europa League position again next season.

Terzic has done a pretty good work with Dortmund until this point in this season. Even if they miss the league championship by inches it is still a good fight they have put up so far. The main problem of not being able to stay in the lead longer has been their defensive weaknesses especially. There have been many seasons but still Dortmund can't find a solution to their conceding so many easy goals due to this kind of mistakes.

They actually made a defender transfer last summer but still there is not a huge improvement. If they were able to conceded less goals than Bayern Munich they could have been in a comfortable condition in the lead.

I know that Dortmund's priority isn't the Bundesliga title any time but while they are this much close it would be a disappointment anyway. Because they have been behind Bayern Munich for so many years but this is the biggest chance to change it.

Bayer Munich have dominated their league for quite a long time even with the likes of Frankfurt, Bayern Leverkusen and Leipzig. Despite falling down the ranks after losing few points at Tuchel's arrival, Bayern Munich have managed to get themselves back to winning way and I believe they have a chance to win the league title if they can remain consistent and keep winning.

Why you think that Leipzig has no chances to win against the coming game against Bayern Munich ?
There is for sure the chance that they can win that , specially against Munich and the current situation ,
with a win there that they can help Dortmunds chance bigger for the title are enough motivation for them.
And if they only playing a draw that would be good.
