Dortmund continue to keep their hopes up by winning another game strongly but still they are one point behind. Bayern Munich don't seem even a bit like they can be stopped now. As they are out of the Champions League they are completely focused on the Bundesliga title. Leipzig look like the only team that might do something against them but I don't know.

If that happens Dortmund had better not waste another opportunity. This is like Dortmund's closest season to the league title after all these years.

Leipzig win against Bremen means they have opened up a four point gap between them and Freiburg on the 5th. So the match between the Bayern’s team and Leipzig will just be a regular match for the the Red Bulls. But they should be wary not to slip to a lose against Bayern and expect to win Schalke. The remain matches for Schalke are for survival and they could go toe to toe with Leipzig. Schalke are a just a point off the relegation and every match counts. Should Bayern coast past Leipzig the last game against Koln will be competitive because of the past rivalry.

Truthfully there was no way Bayern Munich were losing points against Schalke in Allianz Arena. Yes I know that Schalke were trying to stay in the Bundesliga but come on.    Bayern Munich have only the Bundesliga title left as their goal now. Therefore I didn't expect them to make any mistake in this match. They really demolished their opponent by 6-0 also.

My opinion wouldn't have changed if this match was an away one for Bayern Munich. They have only one place to focus on now so Dortmund's chances of winning the title are getting lower every week. But Dortmund haven't still lost their hope and we can see this easily from their final result against Gladbach in Signal Iduna Park - a 5-2 win.

But still this will be Dortmund's own fault if they fail. Because they couldn't make use of being in the lead for more than one time.

Even though they should have been able to secure this match apart from providing stimulus and pressing to the club above them, this could also be used as a whip for enthusiasm because of course Leg 2 they still had to work very hard but they failed even though 1 point is still pretty good, but on the other hand they still failed to overtake Wolfaburg now.

I would say the competition for the title this season will last until the end of the competition because the points are quite close between these two teams. for the remaining matches where anything can happen and these two teams can switch places if one of them loses in the upcoming matches. Apart from that, there are other things that are positive for the two teams, namely full strength where there are no injured players that can hinder their performance in every match.

Really unfortunately, Leverkusen should have been able to steal three points although playing away, as they need points to be in sixth place. Against Bayern will definitely be difficult but Schalke is still possible to bring 2 points for Leipzig.

Bayern seem to be on Pole Position for the title, but they still have a strong opponent: RB Leipzig is the opponent in the Allianz Arena next Saturday. Bayern the favourite, but RB Leipzig is a team that is capable of taking points from Bayern and if that happens we have a really exciting last game in Germany in 2 weeks. If Bayern does not become champions, it will mainly be due to itself. I think Dortmund are playing a great season but not Bayern, even though they are at the top. Bayern from 10 years ago had already been 20 points ahead of the competition and maybe lost 1 time somewhere. Would it all go more convincingly next season with this new trainer? I have my doubts.

RB Leipzig and Union Berlin almost booked their tickets to the Champions League and it was a nightmare weekend for Freiburg. There is a little chance left for Freiburg when they win the next game and RB Leipzig loses against Bayern. Which is probably one of the most exciting games of the season anyway between Leipzig and Bayern because all the past games left aside, this one might decide about the German Bundesliga title. Can they stop Bayern?

If not, Freiburg could get back to equal points, but their goal statistics are a huge disadvantage compared to both Union Berlin and Leipzig. That makes their situation even worse. But it was a strong season from them anyway.

Leverkusen can only bring one point away from Stuttgart, and that is the result they have to accept after failing to play well. Now if today Leipzig win their match then most chances they will be qualifying for the Champions League because they have last match against Schalke which can give them three points and guaranteed for the top four because right now Freiburg is having poor form and last match is also against Frankfurt which can create problems for them for having top four.

Werder Bremen tried their best to earn points in this match. But in the end, they failed. However, Leipzig performed brilliantly in this match. I'm happy with Leipzig's win. They deserve to win this match. Leipzig's players dominated from the start of the match. They attacked a lot. Leipzig made a total of 20 shots, 7 of which were on target. Leipzig is now third in the points table after the win in this match. Leipzig's chances of qualifying for the Champions League have increased. The last match of Bayern Munich is also a reason why we understand that Dortmund is never going to get even close to the goal difference of Bayern Munich. I think history is going to repeat itself and Bayern Munich is going to be the winner of the Bundesliga again.

It didn't take long after the goal was scored the referee blew the whistle to signal the end of the game.

I thought Schalke might be the last obstacle for Bayern Munich to the championship, but that turned out to be even worse than an illusion. Last year it was already something like 8-0 and now it was 6-0, so no chance. Dortmund did what it had to do, but Dortmund is not completely without a chance. The difference is just 1 point so a draw in an away game against Bayern next week could earn Dortmund the championship, assuming they keep winning themselves. Next week will be the last hurdle for Bayern Munich when they play an away game.
