I have always said this about Dortmund. They can never be relied on. Even before their draw to Bochum, I always knew they will slip up and let Bayern take the lead. All Bayern needs to do now is win all their remaining matches and they have won the league.
You said Bayern have been inconsistent in the league this season and that's true, but still Dortmund could not make use of the opportunity. I have been saying this all season long. I am rooting for them but I just find it hard to trust them. They were in a position that all they had to do was win five matches and the league is theirs but they are about to bottle it. Now they will just have to hope Bayern slips up.

I agree with you. Bundesliga teams are used to Bayern Munich's dominance. For a long time, we only saw Bayern Munich dominate the Bundesliga. And no other team even tried to win the title. Again, Borussia Dortmund did not take advantage of the opportunities they got when they were at the top of the standings, they easily dropped points again and that opened up opportunities for Bayer Munich to shift them again. I don't know why Borussia Dortmund always do this, they don't seem to want to become champions in this Bundesliga.
As for competition, I think this season the Bundesliga is much more competitive, yes, even though it is created by the inconsistency of one team.

Bellingham is about to leave Dortmund by the end of the season. The number of news related to his probable signing for Real Madrid has increased lately. There have been two team interested in signing him for a while which are Liverpool and Real Madrid. Considering how bad Liverpool are this season I think that there is no way Bellingham is signing for them. He wouldn't like to compete in a team that won't be a part of the Champions League next time most probably.

I have heard something like his father tried to convince him for Liverpool before but I don't think he will be able to have much influence over Bellingham's final decision. Apart from that, Manchester City are another big team thinking of joining the race. They have a card in their hand like Haaland which must be the reason why they also want to go for Bellingham.

I think Bellingham will make his final decision between Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Out of the last 8 games they tied their games agains Schalke, Stuttgart and Bochum and lost their game against Bayern. The Bayern game wouldn't even be a problem, but when you can't win your games against any of the teams from the bottom of the table, how are you going to win the Bundesliga? They dropped 6 points against the absolute bottom of the table in just three games. That's not because they are unlucky all the time, it is because they are unable. When Bayern only wins 2 out of 5 games and you still can't keep the lead, you know you have a major problem.

The dortmund team points against relatively weak teams. Although the Dortmund team is very strong, this team is not able to consistently perform well. I would say they need to change their match strategy. At the same time, the bond between the team players should be strengthened. It is very likely that now the mood will turn around again.
It is clear that the 1 point that Dortmund got yesterday will be well maximized by Bayern considering that they will face Hertha tomorrow and if indeed they get 3 points the top position will be taken back from Dortmund.
