Frankly, I doubt this has anything to do with fatigue. I would even tend towards a deliberate refusal to work. What is wrong with those guys? I have actually watch parts of the game and I couldn't trust my eyes when I saw players like Gnabry to repeatedly struggle with simple ball control and just run out of bounds because he forgot to stop the ball in time or couldn't handle it at speed. This can happen to any player once in a game and on a bad day maybe twice in a game, but if the whole team collectively fails to conduct proper ball control, what is wrong with them? Fatigue can't be an excuse. Because that would mean that you could observe the same phenomenon after every single champions league game. But that is not the case.

The change from Nagelsmann to Tuchel now turns into the fail of the year in the Bundesliga. Nobody can deny that they were competing for three titles with Nagelsmann and now they are competing for no titles whatsoever with Tuchel. Nobody can argue against it. I am not saying that Tuchel is to blame, I am only saying that the decision was beyond stupid and badly timed. I would say that even if they were better off now.
