I think that the match against Freiburg in the cup yesterday was a very important match for Bayern Munich. So they definitely tried their very best in order to win this match and to advance into the semi final of the DFB cup. Bayern has failed to reach the semi-final of the cup now 3 years in a row, which is quite extraordinary given the fact that Bayern Munich is by far the strongest team of the country. Also they definitely have a squad that has enough quantity and especially quality in order to compete for every title there is.
The reason why Bayern lost yesterday is quite simple. Freiburg defended very well, in the second half the game most of the time looked more like handball than football because Bayern made so much pressure. Still Freiburg stayed calm and defended and then they had the luck of that last minute penalty.

Maybe this has something to do with them not being too serious about competing in the DFB, because there is a big match waiting for them ahead, so it looks like they will try to focus on that match rather than in the DFB. Bayern Munich can win all five of their recent games and still end up losing the next match to a team that is fighting the relegation zone. Freiburg isn't a minority team in Germany, they are good and also in form, which was why they were able to equalize the goal the moment Bayern Munich score the first goal, but the second goal they scored was when things became tense in the 90+ and Bayern Became helpless, these goals are very rare to equalize but they are lucky it is not Bundesliga. I hope they can take advantage of the chance to collect the three points necessary to maintain their lead over Dortmund in their upcoming match against Freiburg.

it has always been the case that the dfb cup had its own laws, that's true.
but what's also true is that in the past it wasn't a problem at all for bayern munich. the club has actually always been able to live with and deal with the triple burden very well and has been in the cup final 8 times in each of the last 13 years.
freiburg was once again underestimated yesterday and the current unrest/discussions at bayern are more likely the points for yesterday's defeat

actually it was a very natural thing when Thomas Tuchel had just handled Bayern, of course he needed time to be able to adapt and he even succeeded in convincing many people in the first game against Dortmund, but that doesn't mean that proves that he will be able to consistently continue this trend.

Bayern's elimination was indeed very disappointing but that's football and a change of coach during the middle of the season always has a bad impact on a team, now Bayern feels it.
and for the Bundesliga now Bayern are still 2 points ahead and I think they will not be careless there because the target for the Bayern team with Thomas Tuchel is of course to win or retain the BundesLiga title and win the UCL trophy this season.

Bayern needs to say goodbye to treeble winners this season. It's so disgusting to see how bayern was leading the match with so many ball possessions and goal attempts but it's always losing against a team that played fully defensive. Admitted or not this is the consequence if changed coach in the middle of competition and there always be bad impact for the team and Bayern players still adapted to Tuchel strategy but lets see their performance for the next upcoming matches whether Tuchel can improved Bayern performance or not

I assume most people expected Bayern victory. That was unexpected to see Bayern losing this game and as you said few days from defeating Dortmund which is better than Freiburg.
It is hard to see Bayern losing but this is happening frequently lately Lips sealed

Congrats to Freiburg, they kicked Bayern along with Union that was kicked by Frankfurt. There is Dortmund left which could be a real threat to them for their race to the title. If Leipzig could kick Dortmund, that would be epic!

Well I don't think Bayern Munchen not winning so far when 75 minutes of the game have passed in DB Pokal against Freiburg which is just 4th or 5th in the standings and it means you cannot rate Bayern Munchen to win at home at 1.18 as this is simply not logical and I know that Bayern is the huge favorite and most likely they will win the game but still how can the bookies rate 1.18 when first place is playing against 4th place,they don't do it with PSG for example in Ligue 1 and both teams dominate their respective leagues so I don't know how these bookies determine odds.It is interesting that Bayern is not winning at 1.18 odd and it reminds me the game of Bayern vs Koln which ended 1-1 with an odd of 1.15 and that is why betting on such low odds is never recommended.
