Maybe these two players will retire soon and enjoy their old days in peace, and for the team that is left behind they will immediately look for replacement players when next year's transfer market opens, with old age it will affect the performance of the game when on the field which might be impact on the team they have.
Regeneration cannot be avoided by any club as the players get older, such as Munich which has now started preparing its young players or looking for talents at other clubs to replace old players who may soon retire like Neuer, Muller and several other players who are now starting to be at the end of their career but I think even though some players will retire later it doesn't mean they no longer have a role at the club, because some clubs actually make old players as coaches or mentors for young players because then the old players who already have a lot of experience will be able to share their knowledge with the young players at the club.
What is certain to happen is that sooner or later the players who are already in their old age must be replaced with young players with potential, of course. In any team, we will see, it's just that there are those who move quickly by recruiting lots of young players or creating through their own football academy. But usually in the Bundesliga the ones who can always create potential players are Borussia Dortmund, and Bayern Munich are always looking for and buying from them.  Grin

Obviously it's the thing to do.
At present, apart from his old injury, Neuer's age is also not young anymore because he is currently 36 years old. On the other hand their second goalkeeper Sven Ulreich is also 34 years old now and I think this is too old for their big club because even for the bundesliga maybe it doesn't really matter but of course there is the Champions League and this is old for their goalkeeper if compare with other big clubs.

Both were not reliable enough for the long term plan but neuer was still good before his legs got injured caused by his own fault. Neuer's performance will be different compared when he has not got injured. Bayern needs to take a look at keeper based on the history from the team. World cup contributes nothing to the performance from the goal keeper. I saw that some keepers linked to the bayern since neuer got injured but im not sure bayern will try to consider them as potential goal keeper to replace neuer. It seems like that livakovic may join bayern as soon as possible.
Bayern already contacted slakovic and that must become the most important point for slakovic has more chance to join with bayern compared with morocco's goal keeper

I have read that too. Alexander Nübel will also be the easiest solution. But the only problem is when he will come. AS Monaco will certainly not let him go right away. They also need a replacement for Nübel. Of course AS Monaco also wants money for selling Nübel back before the end of the loan period. It is said to be a seven-figure sum. But that should not be a problem for Bayern Munich.
His loan period is until June 30 and of course when he wants to be brought back then Monaco will obviously demand compensation and I think with the current conditions it is actually a waste of time.
On the other hand, when Nübel returns, of course he also seems to need guarantees, especially now that Livakovic's interest is still there and Sven Ulreich also, of course, doesn't want to become the third goalkeeper if indeed these two goalkeepers transfer to Bayern later.

THe contract from Nübel with Bayern Munich runs until the summer of 2025. So even if he does not become the new number 1 they still have the option of selling him.

Anyway, I am curious to see which of the two (Ulrich and Nübel) will be in the goal in the second half of the season. And I am also curious to see what will happen next season. The contract from Manuel Neuer runs until the summer of 2024, so it should be clear next year as well.

This should happen to every old player, because any old player will definitely be replaced by another according to the regeneration of all teams. After all, the team is unlikely to retain old players for a long time if they have better options for young players. And I don't think it will be a problem for the old players to leave the team in time and some of the stars of the past have also managed to become club coaches in recent years. Including this season as well.

there are rumors that Munich is also eyeing a goalkeeper who has performed well in the World Cup. like the Croatian goalkeeper who looked good and was in demand by Munich to replace Manuel Neuer who was currently injured. Manuel Neuer must rest and have a long recovery period because it is expected that he will be absent until the end of the season.

i read today that bayern is not going in the direction of signing Dominik Livakovic, according to sky sports germany, bayern is trying to bring back alexander nubel who is from bayern and was loaned to monaco, according to agent of Alexander Nubel, there are already negotiations for the return of Alexander Nubel to Bayern, I think this is the best solution for Bayern

Maybe, this is the right time to replace Manuel Neuer's role with Bayern Munich. we all know, that Neuer is a great goalkeeper. his role with Bayern Munich is inseparable. however, as you said. Bayern Munich will still do great things with or without him. like what his predecessor, Oliver Kahn, had done when he was still a goalkeeper for Bavaria.

Obviously it's the thing to do.

It's the time for bayern to think about a new goal keeper to replace neuer. Neuer itself is a very good goal keeper even if he was not young again but his response is still very good to block any ball that came to the his goal.
The goal keeper from croatia may become a good replacement for neuer. That's why bayern has been trying to get a new keeper for the club caused by two keepers that owned by bayern already old enough to compete in the bundesliga and champion league.

People are overreacting to Neuer injury and I believe that we are talking about something serious for him, and that is true but Bayern is not the type of club that can't replace a goalkeeper, we are forgetting that this is THE club in Germany and they will do amazing with or without him.

I personally believe that he is a good goalkeeper that is for sure, but Bayern could lose anyone, upemacano, goeretzka, mane, sane, doesn't really matter who they lose, if it is just one player then they wouldn't be doing badly at all, they will do great and wouldn't really be hurting. He is getting older anyway, I feel like they should start looking for someone younger already.

the truth is that Neuer's irresponsibility is something that bayern cannot let go unnoticed, so bayern needs to hire another goalkeeper and about Neuer maybe it's even the case for him to retire, I don't see him coming back to to be a goalkeeper for bayern after he gets better from the injury, thanks to his recklessness, he will have a forced retirement, at least this is my opinion.

I heard that Bayern intends to bring Alexander Nubel who is from Bayern and was loaned to Monaco, if the negotiations go well then Alexander Nubel will return to Bayern and they say he will be rewarded, that is, he will be paid, I don't know what the amount would be and the kind of deal involved, but the fact is that bayern has always been a big team that they don't depend on just 1 player, they always manage to go to the market and choose good players, that recklessness of Neuer will cost him dearly

We know that Manuel is old but I still think he has another 4 or 5yrs to play. Goal keepers are not easily affected by age because they can play even upto 42 years. They don't have much distance to cover. And when your team is the better side, Goalkeeper may not sweat till match end.
Bayern Munich will need to be careful in order to have a good replacement because it is not easy to have a world class goalie like Manuel Neuer

Dortmund is one of the undisputed heavyweight contestants in German football. With five Bundesliga titles, the club has proficiently participated in the hunt to secure more European league titles for years now, since after backing UCL in 1997. But seeing that the club isn't doing too well lately, the management should do something about it. As reported by Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke, I think the idea of bringing CR7 to join the Squad could be another means of rejuvenation.
It seems to me that Ronaldo and rejuvenation are antonyms  Grin
Maybe his arrival at the club will help solve local problems (like taking second place in the Bundesliga and going as far as possible in the Champions League), but from the point of view of prospects, this transfer does not solve anything.
I feel like he could help, but what could they offer him? I mean I still think that he should be going to that Qatar club, maybe it's not a good deal to be living there for that long for someone from western civilization. The ideas of freedom is not available there, they want you to "respect their culture" and by that they mean they are forcing rules to you.

This means that we are talking about someone who would be living there with his girlfriend and kids, and that is why I highly doubt that it would be a wise decision BUT it's also 200 million a year. I feel like if he just had that a year later, maybe it would make sense but right now he could still play for Dortmund if they could offer a good deal.

@jaberwock Dortmund these days is a profit based club as we had discussed this a while back, and I seriously doubt that they’ll pay Ronaldo those high wages that he would demand. Furthermore if they yet sign him then it’ll be interesting to see how he and Jude play, because the latter is performing exceptionally well and could assist Ronaldo a lot.

Basically, the injury to Manuel Neuer is not a big problem, but if Bayern Munich really cares about his performance in the competition in the Champions League, then of course Bayern Munich needs a new, more experienced goalkeeper to replace Manuel Neuer. However, the reason I say this is not a big problem is because Bayern Munich still has solid defenders, so when their defenders are still in their best form, of course, Bayern Munich's defense will also remain safe.
It seems that the case of legendary goalkeepers becomes interesting when they get long injuries and or choose to retire, because if I consider players from other positions I think finding or getting a replacement is still relatively easy.

So, let's wait and see whether Bayern Munich will recruit a new goalkeeper or just take advantage of and/or maximize the goalkeepers who are second-tier players on the bench. So that with Manuel Neuer's injury, at least Bayern Munich can move faster to be able to have a strong replacement candidate from now on.
Even so, I personally remain confident that Bayern Munich will still get a good result for the match to come. Due to Manuel Neuer's injury, I'm sure it won't have a bad impact on the team's performance and even more so on their defense.

I think Bayern Munich will have no choice but to take back Alexander Nubel as the team first choice goal keeper in the absence of Neuer who will be sidelined based on injuries. This unfortunate incident presents a good chance to try other substitute goal keepers in the team and probably a suitable replacement can emerge from the available options after all at this stage of Neuer's career it is time to replace him in the squad.
Bayern Munich are reportedly targeting Dominic Livakovic to fill the void left by Manuel Neuer due to injury. Not only Livakovic but also Nubel is on the list of names rumored to be joining Bayern Munich. They moved quickly with a list of goalkeepers they will be looking for in the upcoming transfer window, yes it is their quick attempt to replace the vacancy in the goalkeeper position.

Dortmund has also had some bad luck in recent months. They thought they had found a reasonable replacement for Haaland in the form of Haaler. But then he unexpectedly got a bad diagnosis about his health. They can't help that. The width in Germany has also improved slightly in recent years. Nothing is lost for Dormund yet. Just look at RB Leipzig, in the beginning they were almost in the relegation place and now they are just back in the top 3. Immediately a nice showdown with Bayern Munich the first game after the winter break.

ya.ya.yo!
Dortmund are always lucky with their recruitment every summer, they have sold Haaland, but some other person that will play exactly like Haaland or that will get the required goals like he did will emerged.
When Lewandowski was very hot and scoring goals every match,it was Durtmund he emanated from, they sold him and Aubameyang emerged,After Aubameyang excelled,he was sold, and Dembele of Barca now emerged. If you look at their transfer exit history, you will see that they sell their best players every season because of money.I just see them as a team that have good scouting team.
Borussia Dortmund never runs out of potential players in their squad, but unfortunately they always sell them at a meager price. There is no effort on their part to keep such a good player for long. This is indeed an advantage for them, but will they always be like that in every season? I think they need to urgently change the habits they do every season to focus more on winning more trophies.
