Now we are already in the extra time and now it is 6-2 for Bayer Munich already. That was a great game to watch in my opinion because obviously a lot of goals were scored and even though the result suggests something different Mainz did show a pretty good performance too. It was also obvious that the Bayern players did not really go all out today. Especially in the defense they were not as aggressive and consequent as in the match against Barca on wednesday.

The possibility of Union Berlin maintaining the top spot depends on their performance against their opponents Monchengladbach in their tomorrow match, Union Berlin have been brilliant since the beginning of the season winning 7 matches in 11 games played and being at the top of the table for more than months now so I think they have all it takes to remain at the top of the table if they maintain good form and wins in their next games even though Bayern Munich is looking better now in performance compared to their earlier start to the season. Berlin won't disappoint their fans who have been in support of the team and I believe they will get a win at home in tomorrow's game against Monchengladbach to reclaim their first position from Bayern Munich.

Yes, it's true that the goal created by Niclas Fullkrug in 5 minutes before the match ended really locked the victory in this match. Both teams played quite well with Bremen able to give the better game, I think that was a factor in them playing as hosts.

For some weeks Bayern have been consistent in their matches, the game between Bayern Munich and Mainz will be interesting one.
