It was Bochum's second win. Bochum has lost 8 out of 11 matches this season. Such a weak team, that the top of the table Union Berlin would beat the team was a completely unexpected result. Berlin was defeated in this match because they did not play well. Union Berlin's performance was weak. Such a performance against a weak team like Bochum is a shame. If Union Berlin's coach is not able to find out his team's weaknesses then they will lose points in the upcoming matches as well and lose the top spot in the points table.
I really had low expectations for Bochum but in that game, agaisnt Union Berlin I have seen a different side of them and a different side of Union Berlin as well, but I still have small expectations for them, sure to win the championship that is, and would not risk betting for them aswell, but maybe a close game against Schalke, Stuttgart, or Leverkusen, I'd might manage on taking a risk for them,
Union Berlin will have an important match in the Europa League, where they must win the match at home to Sporting Braga later. only one point adrift of Sporting Braga, meaning, Union Berlin have a chance to be in second place if they win this match.
in theory, this match will affect their performance later in the Bundesliga match. can have a bad influence or get a strong motivation to win the next matches.
but for sure, in the game next week. Union Berlin will host Gladbach, which incidentally they are not an easy opponent to beat. this result will be decisive for them to keep their distance with Bayern Munich, or the Bundesliga leaders will belong to Bayern Munich. so let's see, what scenario will happen next week.
They have fallen to the 3rd spot, but well just because they have 2 losses, now, but they have now had 2 consecutive wins, maybe they can still manage to up their game, in actuality, I really haven't watched the game for the Europa League but maybe I will make a time for this aswell, and right now Freiburg is doing great at the moment but I think Arsenal is the formidable team right now,
I'm not very hopeful about Schalke's future in this season honestly.
Because I don't see any light. Manager changes always make the fans excited of course and we will see if it will make some effect on the team. But it will still be a very difficult season for them obviously. We are seeing them as the worst performing team of the season. They can at least score but their defense is in a very bad shape. Maybe new transfers to the defense line might be some help for them to get better. Above all else, new manager must help the players fix their mental problems to focus on the league matches more.
I surely doubt it could make a great impact but we will be and the next game is tomorrow maybe we can see some changes but I guess just a little, for me honestly, I think the coach Frank Kramer really did well in getting the team on the 1st division but surely this is the 1st division so it is complicated to say, but I think Matthias Kreutzer will still continue as a coach and Thomas Reis still doesn't have a transfer fee for Schalke and Bochum to agree upon,
