A somewhat hard-fought victory over Wolfsburg in their Bundesliga opener could spell a difficult season for Bayern Munich under Vincent Kompany. A coach who was relegated from the Premier League with Burnley is now in charge of the mighty Bayern Munich. Therefore, I warn Kompany, just one loss, in any round, the criticism aimed at Kompany will be very harsh.
Talking about Bayern Munich at this time, I compare the team to a supercar consisting of 3 separate parts combined. Accordingly, the front part of the car belongs to the high-end segment, the middle part is also of equally good quality, but the rear part is rotten. New season, new expectations but the same old pain for Bayern Munich. A poor defense has left the team bogged down. For lonl-distance racing, this car can still reach the finish line. However, whether they will win the championship or not, no one dares to be optimistic. It is not clear whether Kompany will be a success or a failure this season, but at the very least, I need him to improve his defense immediately.
This is not a big deal really and at least Bayern Munich still got their first win of the season. Wolfsburg proved that they are not a weak team in general and the evidence of two goals against Bayern Munich will be the beginning of a stern warning for Vincent Kompany to fix his defense.

I think there is a time for us to talk about this further when a league has been running for half a season and for now Bayern Munich remains one of the favorites to win regardless of the results they get. Criticism will always be there, especially considering Vincent Kompany's status as a mediocre coach before, he will definitely always get scorn from many people. What is clear is that Bayern Munich must stay focused and let everyone chatter for now.

It's still absurd to me why people are obsessed with the past of Vincent Kompany, yes he managed Burnley, and yes Burnley went down too, but do you guys really think the Bayern management recruited him for no reason? Not looking at any of his qualities?

Kompany came a long way as a player, and his footballing philosophy is amazing. He is a vocal manager who has his priorities straight. Yes, the first game didn't have the most convincing scoreline, but it was due to the center backs having a bad game. Kim Min Jae made a horrible mistake. That should not have happened. And this is also not the first time Kim Min Jae is making mistakes.

There are still 2 days till the window closes, if Bayern goes for a late move for a cornerback, I won't be surprised. They sold De Ligt, there are shoes to fill, so this might go on. I think it would be a good idea for them to get a new cornerback, someone like Guehi who is on the market now.

Bayern Munich really try there best and win the match, they dominated the game since from the first half but later I see they are leading them with 2-1 thinking they will defeat them or they will try and end the game in a draw, but surely they put more effort and get the opportunity of winning the game. I see bayern Leverkusen will not achieved the Bundesliga this time with way Bayern Munich are performing currently I think they will truly stop them this season but anything can happens. The new Bayern Munich coach aims to win the club's first league championship, while Harry Kane is eager to win his first Bundesliga trophy after failing to do so previously league, and he as lose is first chance in the Bundesliga let see if he will get the opportunity this season and win the league title. Dortmund are performing great too and they will fight for the title with Munich and Leverkusen this time and Dortmund usually get chance on Bayern Leverkusen so I see he will be hard Leverkusen to win Dortmund expect draw.

Bayern Munich performance was good, but I can see that still some fans are still no party with the effort they put to a cure that three points; however, the most important is the point, and Bayern Munich try as much as they can to get it, so I see no reason why they will not appreciate it. Bayer Leverkusen and strong the same as Dortmund; they both are doing great, and this type of game is difficult to predict. I can’t even predict it because the swing both of them in a good performance makes it difficult to predict how the result of their game will be.

Typical of Kompanyball, it's strong on offense, but weak on defense. It's pretty much the same as what Kompany did at Burnley, and he is now implementing it at Bayern. The defensive line has become our main issue, but I'm not sure this can be sorted out in a short time. The defensive line looks very catastrophic, especially in the center back.

Kim is a constant liability for us, and he must be benched. And I'd replace him with Dier instead. Though this is the first game of this season, we won't win any trophies if we defend like this all seasons.

The fact that Bayern Munich is still struggling defensively considering the players they have signed so far was unexpected, the two goals conceded against Wolfsburg were the result of defensive errors, Sacha Boey caused the penalty, and Kim gave the goalkeeper a wrong pass, If it weren't for Bayern's poor performance, how could a weak team like Wolfsburg score two goals against Bayern? Wolfsburg nearly drew the match but thanked Gnabry for scoring the winning goal in the 82 minutes to secure their first three points of the season. However, if Bayern had draw in this game, I believe many people would have starts to doubt Kompany's ability to be successful this season, I never expected Bayern Munich to be so weak in this way, but let's hope Kompany fulfills the fans' need to win the league title this season.

Well that will be a discussion that will go hand in hand with their performance in the Champions League. If they can't perform well there, then logically they will focus more on the domestic league. However, if they can perform well with the new coach, then they will make these 2 competitions a priority for them to win this season.
For now their focus is on the Bundesliga, they want to do their best in the Bundesliga, especially since the Champions League hasn't started yet and they don't know who their opponents will be in this league phase, because the draw will be held on Thursday, so there is still one more day to see the table of opponents they will face in the Champions League phase this season. Let's just wait, whether the draw results will benefit them or not at all.
It seems to me that the Champions League will always be a priority tournament for any team, because it is the most prestigious tournament and because there are quite high fees that will stimulate the team to win. Whoever their opponent is, I am sure that they will have the task of getting out of the group to the playoffs, this will already imply very decent bonus payments. Moreover, Bayern has always strived to win this tournament, I think they do not have a task below the semi-finals or the final, so this season they will try to win the Bundesliga and the Champions League, but it is hard to believe in the second task.

Dortmund and Bayern Munich are also highly likely to win this week. Dortmund should be able to beat Werder Bremen away. It shouldn't be a big deal. Bayern Munich are going to face Freiburg home. Freiburg had a surprising start by destroying Stuttgart. However I believe in Kompany's team not to leave any points home.  Smiley

There could be possibility in what you are saying, in respect to Bayern Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund wining the league but for me I still have a serious doubt about it, is not actually because Bayern Munich is my favorite but based on there qualities Bayern Munich has more tactical ways than the both clubs, however there next meeting will be against Freiburg and even if Freiburg poses a serious resistance Bayern Munich would always win the match, already from the Bayern Munich upcoming games they stand higher in wining all the matches but however the only one that would be much tougher is the one against Bayern Leverkusen, perhaps from that match we should be able to draw our conclusion in regards to the best club that deserves the trophy, so if Bayern Leverkusen won, then I will reconsider.

Right now, I think Bayern Munich is focused on the Bundesliga instead of the Champions League. Because Bayer Leverkusen achieved great success in the Bundesliga.-snip-
Apart from the fact that Bayern Munich failed to win the Bundesliga in the previous season, they are also playing with a new coach this season. Vincent Kompany is a good coach but I think we can't talk about the UCL yet because new coaches usually need time to adapt. I think the first realistic target is to win the Bundesliga. I think the club management wants Kompany to focus on the Bundesliga first. The UCL is a different level and I think if Kompany can give good results for the club, it will still take time to build a solid squad.

Bayern Munich failure in the Bundesliga last season I don't think will make them narrow down their target to win this season, Bayern Munich is the biggest team and has a very long history with various championship achievements in the Bundesliga and European competitions, so I think they will still maximize their squad to be able to win the Champions League and also the Bundesliga this season, Perhaps the target to restore their dominance in the domestic league seems more realistic at the moment but Kompany, who is the new coach of Bayern Munich, will certainly not waste the opportunity to be able to improve his coaching career by winning the Champions League trophy, the Champions League is a difficult competition but if you look at last season they were able to reach the semi-finals although they were in a bad condition in the Bundesliga, so of course it is not impossible for Bayern Munich this season to be able to run in balance in the two competitions.

Last night, maybe some of you forgot, including me, where there was a match that should have been bet on, especially Leverkusen and Stuttgart will definitely give the results we want. As it has ended, Leverkusen and Stuttgart advanced to the next round of the DFB Pokal after defeating their opponents.

There is nothing surprising for Stuttgart considering that they are still very strong by scoring 5 goals in this match, but for Leverkusen it seems they are having quite a hard time scoring only 1 winning goal. What is clear is that this result can continue to pump up the confidence of both teams in this week's Bundesliga match where Leverkusen will face Leipzig and Stuttgart will face Mainz. Maybe Leipzig will be a tough opponent for Leverkusen and Mainz will certainly not be difficult enough for Stuttgart. So I hope both of them can continue to win regardless of how they overcome it later.

The odds seem fine, but I wouldn't rely on the head-to-head games too much. They can't keep winning forever and it's expected that the Leipzig will steal some points eventually.
And it shouldn't be overlooked that Lepzig is a very solid and consistent team. They've been finishing in the top 4 (Champions League places) for the last six years in a row. This should be accounted for.
If Bayer is to lose points this season, it would be to teams like this one. Personally I wouldn't be betting on this game.

Home advantage should work in favour of Bayer though, as Leipzig tended to perform better at home than in away games.

Of course head-to-head games don't guarantee anything. But they give us some ideas about betting at least.  Smiley  You don't need to bet on Leverkusen to win too like I said. Over 2.5 goals and 3.5 goals are both reasonable to be given a chance. You know the productivity of these teams. I don't expect to watch a boring game.

There has been no proof of Vincent Kompany's coaching so I don't think he is worthy of being called a good coach.
Bayern certainly prioritizes the Bundesliga to be able to win it again after their dominance was broken by Leverkusen last season and for a team as big as Bayern, of course, they don't ignore the Champions League either.

We can't give any assessment for Vincent Kompany, in the first Bundesliga match Bayern did win but I don't think that's enough to say that Vincent Kompany has given a positive effect or made Bayern much better this season.

We have a Leverkusen - Leipzig game in three days. And the odds look really tempting.  Roll Eyes

1.79 for Leverkusen to win is great I think. Leverkusen won in their last three head-to-heads. I don't see any reason not to see another win by them here.  Smiley  Xabi Alonso has started this season well too. First a German Super Cup won despite being one man down. Later a start with a win in the Bundesliga... I expect this winning streak to continue on this week as well. Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals could also be nice options (even over 3.5 goals would be logical).
Yes, it is a tempting odds for Leverkusen to win but looking at the opponent, I think it is not an easy match for Leverkusen even though they started the season well but Leipzig is not a weak club in the Bundesliga or a mid-table club, it is included in the ranks of big clubs and is always in the top 5 in the Bundesliga I think a draw is still possible because as far as I know Leverkusen does not accept defeat.
I think betting on Both teams to score makes more sense to win the bet and the odds are @1.51 but if you want to get bigger odds you can place a multi bet that is the same with the options (over 2.5, BTTS and Leverkusen/draw) it has odds @2.27

Winning the UCL trophy at this point shouldn't and wouldn't be the stress of Bayern Munich because personally I see that as stressing and a huge unrealistic pressure on the team, although they may look like it's very much achievable but the truth remains that in reality they may not be able to achieve the champion's league trophy not even with their experience and their depth, as the new coach needs sometime to be able to get on with his tactics and introduce it to the team such that they get to familiarize with it and produce results with it, all this will cost them some time which they may not have at the champions league but a good attempt at it wouldn't be a bad one.
I also think Bayern Munich should not worry too much about winning Champions League right now. They have good team but new coach needs time to teach them his way of playing. This takes time and trying to win Champions League too quickly can be too much pressure. It is better to let team learn and work together under new coach. Instead of trying to win Champions League they should aim to do their best and see how far they can go. This way team can focus on getting better and stronger which will help them succeed in the long run.
I not so sure Bayern Munich will be able to win the UCL title considering that this competition now has the defending champion Real Madrid who is getting stronger and is filled with star players who can make it difficult for all teams to compete.
Moreover, in every match for points Real Madrid is definitely far superior, this makes the UCL difficult competition to win again like several competitions in previous season, but if Bayern Munich is able to do all that then it will be big surprise.
Most important thing now is that Vincent Kompany can bring Bayern Munich back to winning the Bundesliga title, that would be good start and it proves that Vincent Kompany performance as coach is indeed worthy of recognition.
Being able to stop Leverkusen and win the Bundesliga title can make many people feel satisfied with Bayern Munich performance this season, so I don't really hope for Bayern Munich to really win the UCL title.

Of course, it will be very important for Bayern Munich to get used to their new coach. Because last year they followed very different strategies with Thomas Tuchel. Tuchel finished the league in third place without success and ended the league with a big disappointment for Bayern Munich. This year is the time to forget this disappointment he left behind. Although the squad is very good, there are still some problems. Especially in defense, as far as I can see, there are some problems.

Winning the league is realistic, I think the Munich management gives a target according to the team's condition. Kompany has been given enough funds, he is given space to choose players according to his wishes. They should be able to learn from last year's mistakes. Management also has to be wise with the coach, I think the change of coach with a short term is also bad.

As for UCL Munich, they are an experienced team, so I think they are able to compete. But the current condition I am quite doubtful that they are able to win UCL Trophy this season.
Is it not too early to make such conclusions on Munich wining the Bundesliga title? I think we need wait and see them play against big teams like Dortmund and Bauer Leverkusen before we can decide if they can be able to make it, but based on observation and the preparation Vincent Kompany has put in place, the team looks balance and they can do better in the Bundesliga. For Champions League, I can’t say because domestic leagues are quite different from the Champions League, although Bayern Munich have good record and experience in the Champions league, but Vincent Kompany is new in the competition and it will be hard for him to adapt quickly, so they cannot be guaranteed in the Champions League.

One of the most anticipated team performances in the world this year will be the performance of Bayern Munich.

But you can not look away from the head to head statistics since it points out to the performance of the team when ever they meet, Bayer Leverkusen has a better record when you work with the head to head and going with their previous season they still maintain the winning mentality even till this moment so hosting Lepzig at home wouldn't be an easy game since Lepzig has been consistent in the league for a long time but their consistency wouldn't stop Bayer Leverkusen from getting all 3 points in you consider their home record.

You already pointed at the home advantage which plays a vital role in motivating a good team to win matches and going with the performance of Bayer Leverkusen team, I doubt if they will share points with any team this season in front of their fans.

As a team with the status of defending champion and candidate to become champion, it is a pretty good opportunity given by the bookie, especially since we have also seen Leverkusen's game in the first week and I think it's fine.
but they have to be careful of Leipzig, Leipzig is a team that should be taken into account in this Bundesliga. Although they have not been able to compete closely at the top to win the title, in terms of appearance they are always troublesome. In fact, I think it is too big an odds for Leipzig and could still be smaller. But this is also a good opportunity for those who want to seek fortune by betting on Leipzig, even betting on a draw is tempting, although it also takes risks.
Bayern Leverkusen still able to managed their unbeated records in Bundesliga especially at home that they had successfully to beat several strong teams last season just like Bayern Munich and Leipzig at BayArena so these records is makes me confident they can repeat their last season result and beating Leipzig again and i know Leipzig also is not weak team because they can be considered as strong contender for top 4 but i think for this match Leverkusen is too strong for them

But Leverkusen have conceded 2 goals from Wolfsburg last week and i think Xabi Alonso should be evaluate this result because in my opinion there is something problem with Leverkusen defensive lines and about betting option i am sure Leverkusen will win and the current odds for them is very decent to bets because that odds is not low and also not high
