Bayern Munich is one of the best teams and they have good quality star players and good players in every position but Leverkusen doesn't have known stars but this team is well balanced in their respective positions. If every position wasn't strong, they wouldn't have won a tournament like the German league last season without losing a match. In the same season we saw them perform best in the Europa League although they lost in the final but it was not a big deal. This season Bayan Munich and Leverkusen are tough rivals but Bayan Munich will be ahead in this season according to my prediction.
If we look at which team is the most luxurious in the Bundesliga, then I would also choose Bayern Munich as the team with the most luxurious squad. But the question is, can a luxurious squad bring success? Then the answer is not necessarily, it depends on how they perform. And sometimes teams that have a luxurious squad but they have solid teamwork are the ones who will achieve success. I take a real example from the team that won the title last season, namely Leverkusen. Do they have a luxurious squad? In my opinion, no. It's just that in terms of their game they are more balanced because they have good teamwork.
The season we all await for is finally here and Bayern Leverkusen still has continued their unbeaten record last season on the German Bundesliga side, the question will now be, would they continue this journey until the end of the season? Like the way they went unbeaten last season, I doubt. However, nothing much has really changed as regards to their performance, and I haven't seen any sign of weakness to not win their next game.
It won't be easy for Leverkusen and I'm sure they won't be able to do it again this season because Bayern's team has improved quite a bit so it will be a threat for Leverkusen.
And also this week Leverkusen will face a tough opponent, RB Leipzig is a team that is difficult to beat so I think at the beginning of this season we don't need to exaggerate or measure Leverkusen's strength like last season, I'm sure there will be a difference compared to last season for Leverkusen and also other Bundesliga teams.
Against RB Leipzig this week I think Leverkusen's percentage to win is not that big.
Maintaining the unbeaten record they recorded last season will not be easy for Leverkusen, it is not impossible but it will be very difficult. Now their opponents are also aware of Leverkusen's strength and they will be more motivated to beat Leverkusen. It is common when a team that is considered very strong will make its opponents more motivated.
But talking about whether they will be able to defend the title, I think it is easier than maintaining a winning record. Not to say it is easy, but when compared to maintaining an unbeaten record, it is a little easier.
