The team that have shocked me the most so far are Leverkusen.

After watching their ambitious performance last season I was expecting to see the same effort from them. But they got only 3 points in the first 4 league games. They finally got their first win against Mainz by 3-0 last week. Maybe this can be enough to push them to maintain a decent form. But they aren't as reliable as betting on them these days. After finishing the season at the 3rd place, this time their placement might not be that high. Actually maybe their end might be like Leipzig's last season. As you remember Leipzig started to get better results in the second half of the season and managed to enter top 4 in the last minute.

There was yesterday an news article about Haller from Dortmund and how are the things with cancer and he is doing  !
Looks like he is well and doing good , but it will takes a few month then he can start coming back to the training.

Haller has confirmed that he is currently recovering from cancer surgery and we hope he will be fine so that soon make his debut with Dortmund in the Bundesliga, Haller is a very good striker and will probably be very suitable to replace Haaland in the future, however unfortunately for dortmund they had to lose Haller in times of need like now, losing Haller in a long time is not something good for dortmund especially dortmund still don't know how long Haller  absent.

It is clear that Haller has shown some great promise in the past. There is no doubt that he would have had a great season at Dortmund if not for this unfortunate situation. I honestly felt like this was going to be another player in the making for Dortmund in the upcoming season in my opinion. But obviously, that couldn't be the case. Last month, Sebastian Haller was diagnosed with a malignant testicular tumor in his body that was found to be very aggressive. Hopefully, he will be able to recover quickly from this illness. I wish him all the best. There is no doubt that I would like to watch him play again, regardless of what others think.

Looks like it was an easy win and just a trainings game between FC Teutonia 05 Ottensen against Leipzig in the DFB Cup yesterday.
8 scored goals on the end result and a hat trick from Timo Werner , i guess he has arrived fully now and is happy to be back in Leipzig.
Today are playing Viktoria Cologne against Bayern Munich and maybe we will see the same result there.

Everyone expected that win from RB Leipzig because FC Teutonia 05 Ottensen is not a team to be compared with Leipzig, Teutonia 05 is a team from division four so much was not expected of them as it was so obvious that the match will end in favour of Leipzig and so it did.
It was an easy game for Leipzig and the former Chelsea man Timo Werner was the star player of the game having a hat trick booked to his name as he return to his old team and I believe he has come to prove that he's still got some skills in him. The Viktoria Cologne and Bayern Munich game is going to produce more goals because everyone expects Bayern to win with multiple goals.

For that Yann Sommer's performance, I have seen the news that Bayern Munich really is frustrated about what he did it should be a win for Bayern Munich but because of what Sommer did it became an upset, and right now Borrusia Monchengladbach is now inspired on what he did in that game, for some reason the Gladbach team member is now on boost with their playing skills and will do their all in engaging seriously in every game,
Looks like we have found a new legend for a goalkeeper. Sommer is very impressive, patient, and strong like the German Legend Oliver Kahn, So I believe MU is very regretful when have failed to get his sign this year, And what makes him very special is faithful, he is willing to stand on Gladbach even have a good over from MU, this faithful is rarely player have since Buffon.

For me let's wait for another game for Gladbach, he seems very lucky in getting that 19 saves, another game, and if Sommer can recreate that 19 saves again, or more, but I surely am saying this just for assurance, that he really is the ultimate goalkeeper that everybody will likely to have, he surely gave Bayern Munich a hard time in making goals, and in making the game a draw, is sure a bummer for Bayern Munich,

They are aware that even if they are determined, this is still quite a difficult thing for them to do because indeed in this case they will not be able to compete with Bayern and even if they can of course it requires considerable capital and effort so one of the best things is to let Bayern are free to be champions and they are realizing their potential in producing talented young players to sell for more.

I think they surely want to win sometime, but for now, it is highly unlikely to happen because they are continuously selling their good players for capital gains, they surely also want to win the championship of the Bundesliga, but they are after the money they can get in selling a player, I think if they will a championship it is just a bonus for them, but the Main purpose is just to acquired a lot of money by selling their best players and saying goodbye to the championship,

It is very hard for him in realizing that he has cancer, and getting into training will surely take a lot of time, in recovering, I fear that Sebastien Haller will likely be skipping this season, he surely needs a lot of time to recover, and Haller in a stress-free environment, I think he doesn't need to think about football for now and focus more on getting better,

in fact dortmund do not aim to win the domestic league every season, their target is only to finish in the top four of the Bundesliga. dortmund have done their business right, they make huge revenue from every sale of players in the transfer market.  dortmund are one of those teams who are good at seeing the potential of young players, that's why dortmund don't sign big stars for high prices or keep their stars, because that's not their goal.
actually dortmund have prepared sabastien haller as their mainstay striker, however, fate said otherwise.
If Dortmund has the intention to win the title, then it is easy for Dortmund to keep the star players it has. Because Dortmund only buys players who have potential and eventually become stars with a high selling price, but in the end Dortmund never keep them except for the players themselves who have the desire to stay at Dortmund like Marco Reus for example. In this case, Dortmund is not a pessimistic team because Bayern Munich is so dominating, it's just that Dortmund does not have the determination to win the title so that competition in the title race does not occur in the Bundesliga.
And if you go back and take a quick look at some of those players who's left already, you'll see majority has won some big trophies outside Borrussia Dortmund, Gotze, Lewandoski, Aubameyang, Mkhiytariyan, Hakimi etc. Some big talented names you see, but they seem to be okay every year winning the second bundesliga cup competition lol.

Marco Reus has been the only loyal lad that has refused to leave Dortmund till this moment, one can bet his/ her savings of him saying, he'll end his professional career as a Dortmund player..... Haller? I did wish him speedy recovery over there on twitter, social media really ain't everything but I wish he gets better and come back scoring goals for Dortmund. Champions League highest goal in the group stage was dominated by him,.

Yes, among all the players in the Bundesliga, Reus was the only one who was keen on staying with Dortmund. And to be honest I don't know why he decided to do that. It is likely that he wanted to make a change to something. Perhaps he wanted to change the trend of Dortmund selling the elite players they produce in order to change the way they operate.

However, one player or one person cannot be able to change everything on their own. It is for this reason that players do not wish to stay in Dortmund after they become recognized by the club. This team knows that it will not be a suitable team for the future of the franchise and the legacy of any player on this team. It is just a matter of Dortmund taking part in everything. In their games, they don't play to win.

If Dortmund has the intention to win the title, then it is easy for Dortmund to keep the star players it has.
Dortmund have good scout team and they found many young players to buy with cheap price. They gave these plauers chance to play and grow them up to star players. Then they sell these players and get lot of money in return. It helps to strengthen their balance sheet but makes their competitiveness weaker.

Because Dortmund only buys players who have potential and eventually become stars with a high selling price, but in the end Dortmund never keep them except for the players themselves who have the desire to stay at Dortmund like Marco Reus for example.
Dortmund usually don't actually try to keep their star players if they receive high bid. They usually are not able to convince their star players to sign a new contract. Star players want higher salary with a new contract and Dortmund don't give them such offer so they will find other clubs that can help them titles and receive better salary.

The problem is not them selling their stars, that could happen and that is not a problem. The problem is they are selling them for too cheap and can't replace them. Haaland went for such a low amount due to contract having release clause, and they can't replace him for such a small amount. They lost Sancho last year and couldn't replace, and I guarantee you that they will lose Jude as well and they are going to fail replacing him as well.

Imagine a team with Jude, Sancho and Haaland together right now, that team would have been amazing and run for a title against Bayern. But they failed to keep them until they are all mature enough for a title run and now they suffer for it.

I am pretty sure that the people that are in charge of Borussia Dortmund are very well aware of the issue that you are mentioning. The big problem is, that there is hardly a solution for those problem. It is simply a fact that Dortmund is not a tier 1 european football club like Real Madrid, Manchester City, Liverpool or Bayern Munich which means Dortmund will not get the very best players because those players want to go to a club that has realistic chances to win the Champions League.
Therefore Dortmund is buying young and talented players and then there are two options. Those players develop great, which means they will leave for a Tier 1 club after 1 or two seasons or they disappoint and stay at Dortmund.
If that's the case why don't Borussia Dortmund try to make them a club where great players go? If they perform like the club you mentioned, then any player will definitely be fighting for a place in the squad.
I see they are actually capable of doing that, it's just that the steps they take are always at odds with clubs that want to have extraordinary achievements. Isn't this one thing they always show every season? Whenever they have potential players, they always sell them. Other clubs are scrambling to get potential players, while they? I don't think I have to say anymore.

If Dortmund could maintain its star players in the last 5 seasons, of course we will see a deadly line-up from dortmund at this time, Dortmund is the same as Monaco in Ligue 1 which is indeed a competitor trophy but unable to win the title due to their addiction to selling players so far, two the names you mentioned above are just a small example of great players who have been sold by dortmund and if we pay attention so far it's actually a lot of dortmund star players who continue to be able to maintain their performance and even become a mainstay at other clubs, lack of passion for dortmund management to win titles may be the reason for many dortmund players who want to leave during this time coupled with the intention of dortmund not wanting to keep their players if offer by other clubs come.

The transfer window closes soon. With a few exceptions it closes at 6pm on 1. September.  One last-minute transfer could be Borna Sosa from VFB Stuttgart. Inter is interested in him and Bergamo. According to media reports Sosa has reached an agreement with Bergamo and he will probably leave Stuttgart for about 20 million euros.

It has just been officially confirmed that Sasa Kalajdzic (also from Stuttgart) will move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League for 18 million euros.

Borussia Dortmund will have to be extra vigilant when they face Hoffenheim next week. Because Hoffenheim so far they are working quite well. Their winning streak will be an encouragement when they face Borussia Dortmund. And interestingly, both teams seem to have the same stats this season. Where even though they have a good goal productivity, but their defense is still problematic.

I know that, for example, Real Madrid concludes contracts where the release clause under the contract is approaching a billion (now this club is in the top in terms of the number of such contracts). Given the fact that now the price of top players has reached cosmic levels, and the average ones are selling for 100 million, it should be expected that Borussia will change the terms of the contracts and indicate large numbers as compensation. And I don't think that even with higher numbers, Borussia had a chance to keep Haaland - it would just repeat the story of Lewandowski, who blackmailed the club to let him go.

Dortmund believes in their scouting and the process that produces good player for them but I am afraid the process is failing them now, they cannot rely on producing good players every time and giving them away, they cannot be lucky to be producing such bright players every time . According to you, they don't make good money from them, when I saw how much Haaland moved to City, I wanted to cry. They couldn't manage the timing and the agreement clause very well.
They have always done so, and disappointed supporters with their decisions. It's true as you say, maybe they can make great players, but they won't always get it. There must be a time when they find it difficult to find and create potential players like Erling Haaland for example. I'm a little worried about them now.
