They had a whooping 33 shots in 90 mins out of which 20 were on target!!! Got to give it Yann Sommer for all the saves, 19 of them! Probably one of the best performances from a goalkeeper in Bundesliga history. Ballon d'or worthy performance.
For that Yann Sommer's performance, I have seen the news that Bayern Munich really is frustrated about what he did it should be a win for Bayern Munich but because of what Sommer did it became an upset, and right now Borrusia Monchengladbach is now inspired on what he did in that game, for some reason the Gladbach team member is now on boost with their playing skills and will do their all in engaging seriously in every game,
It is actually unbelievable that Bayern's match still ended in 1-1. 10-1 would have been good too. I thought it was suspicious when I saw 0-1 on the scoreboard after 80 minutes, but then I had no idea how the match had gone. Bayern can afford this, things like that happen. It would still be nice if Bayern would become champions without defeat. Not many teams have managed to do that in the history of football in top European competitions. If anyone could do it it would be Bayern because they are so much stronger than the rest of the teams. In other countries, the differences are less pronounced, although PSG is similar, but they often become nonchalant.
They still have a couple of days for matchday 5 to begin, and I think they are already setting up a plan to counter Yann Sommer's defense because it is really not that impenetrable, and they can surely think of ways if they got a chance to play against Gladbach again, but I think Gladbach will totally boost their morale and playing performance just because of what their goalkeeper have accomplished, and because of this they could surely set a focus only in defense gameplay just to check what will happen,
