It doesn't really "matter" to him if he will win anything or not. When he first went to Uniteed, do you really think he was there to win the league title? It was already obvious that they wouldn't win in the league, UCL or even FA cup to be fair considering the competition. So all in all he didn't go there because he wanted something big. He went there because he grinds statistics and now it is finally obvious to some people. He likes his stats to stay high, of course in order to do that he is a great player as well, no bad player could tally up stats, but also he cares about it more than others. If he was really a "liked" player, he could have found a team, but most teams see him as excess cost and nothing more. Hence, he won't be in dortmund nad I doubt he would be in any good team if he is not in United.

Have these rumors resurfaced? I didn't look for anything related to Ronaldo at first but when I saw this news was Ronaldo really that frustrated with him being at Manchester United.
What I mean is that he won't get anything at Dortmund either I think because when it comes to ambition and the championship it's clear that Dortmund is not the right place.

Of course his salary and age are two things any team looking to sign him from Manchester United should consider at the moment. I have no doubts about Ronaldo's abilities even though he is 37 years old because he is still very physically fit and he is still competitive enough for any player in his position. I'm sure there are many clubs who are interested in signing him, but these two things make the club think that they are not going to take many risks just to get a star player with a high salary and old age. Atletico Madrid and Dortmund are the two teams that are reportedly interested in him, but I don't know which team will sign him from Manchester United this season.

Yeah, Ronaldo is in media's intention because of poor start from Manchester United, and he still wants to have some club which give him chance for playing in this season in Champions League and Borussia Dortmund is having this opportunity, but sadly Ronaldo is not going to cut his salary which is serious issue for Borussia Dortmund they never spent big amount on him for just better result in Champions League as they can still fight for second spot into Bundesliga they have sources for this.

But, we have some other media reports as well as Manchester United officials are in Madrid for few talks they offer Atlético Madrid, but sadly they also reject this because they also have no enough funds for his salary option and other demands, so he has to stay here in England for this season.

Dortmund is not at all interested in Ronaldo, besides Ronaldo age who has entered retirement, Ronaldo salary is also very high. I agree on that , that they dont have the monthly money to afford Cristiano Ronaldo , even Dortmund would just borrow Ronaldo.
