Alonso survival at Leverkusen certainly makes the hopes of a big team recruiting Alonso dashed at this time, but staying at Leverkusen will also provide a big challenge for Alonso to be able to maintain Leverkusen performance next season, apart from the Bundesliga, of course at this time many parties are starting to be curious about Leverkusen ability later in the Champions League, so that if Alonso fails to make Leverkusen better next season, of course everyone will thinking that Leverkusen achievements this season are only limited to luck for a novice coach.
True, this will actually be a double-edged sword for Xabi Alonso with his decision to stay at Leverkusen. The reason is that if he can maintain his performance consistently then he will achieve a big name as a coach, but if something bad happens, for example they don't play well, then it will tarnish his name a little, because people will think that what he achieved in this season is due to sheer luck.
I also saw that Xabi wanted to prove himself so he decided to stay with Leverkusen. I think one of his goals is that he wants to silence people who think that what he achieved was most likely due to luck alone. That is one of Xabi Alonso's ambitions in my opinion.

I hope he can propel the team as Xabi Alonso did in Bayern Leverkusen last season.
I guess that Vincent Kompany will be make the same as Xabi Alonso did in Leverkusen last season.
What Alonso and the players did at Leverkusen was unique and will be not coming so fast again.
For sure Kompany is and will be under pressure and its not easy at Munich.
I think that he will be not long there as a coach.
I don't think he has to do the same thing as what Xabi did, because they definitely have different ways to improve the team's performance. Moreover, their situation is also different, it could be said that with a squad that is not luxurious, Xabi can show a good performance with Leverkusen and if we compare it with the squad that Vincent Kompany has now, we will definitely see that the Bayern Munich squad is better than Leverkusen.
If you look at it on paper, Vincent Kompany's task should be easier with the existing squad, but again this cannot be seen from paper alone, but we have to look at the quality of strategy a coach has.

Bayern Munich who failed this season of course they will try to rise by buying some new players who can restore their status as the rulers of the Bundesliga, indeed currently Kompany is an inexperienced coach, but to be honest we don't know what he can do later to restore Bayer Munich dominance in the league, besides that we also used to think of Alonso as an inexperienced coach but can actually bring Leverkusen It's been great this season, so maybe Kompany will be able to do that in the future as well.
I am a little doubtful about the status of their coach because as far as I can see Kompany has not shown his best abilities at the club he previously held. Being the coach of a big club like Bayern Munich definitely comes with a lot of pressure, especially as there are lots of star players, so Kompany's job will be much more difficult. Other pressures from fans and management will definitely demand more where he must be able to provide the best for the club.

Xabi Alonso doesn't have much freedom because he already knows the player's character and he also understands the condition of the player he can rely on. Leverkusen is still Bayern Munich's competitor next season and I am quite sure that Xabi Alonso is far superior to Kompany in terms of tactics and strategy.

There is no evidence yet so it is natural that many people doubt Kompany, but Alonso has proven it last season so I am sure that next season Alonso will be able to make Leverkusen better than what he gave last season.
But sorry, guys, that doesn't mean I will discourage you from believing in Xabi and Leverkusen, but we have to look a little deeper into the situation that Leverkusen will face in the next season, who will appear in the UCL and the match schedule will be busier considering that there are additional participants in the UCL which made Leverkusen have to use more energy.
On the one hand, Xabi has no experience in the UCL during his time as coach, even though he can perform very impressively in the European Leagues, but the problem is that the competition in the UCL is very different and there are more experienced big teams that Leverkusen has to face.
Rotating Leverkusen players to remain consistent in several competitions will be a very tough challenge and I am sure that in the Bundesliga Leverkusen will experience a slight decline in performance and will not be the same as last season.

For Kompany, currently many people are looking forward to his work, there is only speculation that Kompany can make Bayern better next season, but what must also be remembered is that during Kompany's coaching career, none of them have been successful, so I think next season Bayern will make Kompany the coach. is a big gamble.
TBH, I actually slightly disagree with Kompany arrival because I also doubt the coach's achievements, but after I said the facts I said before, I thought that Kompany had the opportunity to take advantage of the opportunity given by Leverkusen who will appear in the UCL and Kompany could making it easier for Munich to win the Bundesliga title again.
Let's give Kompany a chance to prove he can improve Munich.

Last season, Bayern's defense was like a frat house bathroom after a few drinks. However, Harry Kane was the only guy on that team who seemed to care. Like he was handling chainsaws while the rest of the team took a nap. Company, he needs to climb a mountain. It's great that Burnley became a rival, but remember that it was the Championship and not the Bundesliga. This is a whole new level. He might be up to something with black magic, I don't know. He might not be a bad guy, but I'm not sure about him
In terms of goal productivity, Bayern Munich actually scored more goals this season than last season, but the problem is that they also conceded a lot of goals which made them end up receiving a lot of negative results, especially in big, decisive matches, such as when facing Leverkusen where They were unable to win in their two meetings with Leverkusen, and also when they faced Borussia Dortmund, where in the second leg they had to lose at their own home.

Their attack line worked very well, even Harry Kane, who had just joined at the start of the season, was immediately able to adapt to Bayern Munich's game. One of the problems in my opinion is when management is too hasty in making decisions, especially when they decided to fire Nagelsmann at the end of the season in the previous season. That makes their game messy, not because Thomas Tuchel doesn't have quality, but the coach certainly needs time to get to know his team very well.

Yes, defense has become a critical weakness, causing Bayern Munich to continuously encounter unfavorable results this season. Coach Thomas Tuchel has applied many methods but still cannot be solid on Bayern Munich's left wing. At this time, even though Bayern can expand its wallet and pay a high salary to the new coach, the core thing does not lie with the manager, but with the leadership. Who is responsible for Bayern Munich's crisis? Perhaps many opinions blame sports director Hasan Salihamidzic. Who made many illogical decisions, pushing the team to the brink of crisis.

Last season without Kane, Bayern Munich somehow still won the Bundesliga with their lowest score since 2012. In the end, Kane still scored goals as regularly as he did at Tottenham, Bayern Munich had nothing and Tuchel said goodbye early. Did Harry Kane choose the wrong destination?

It is too early to say that Vincent Kompany is not the right coach for Bayern, it is true that he lacks experience but that cannot be a benchmark until Vincent Kompany proves it, if only experience is a benchmark then Xabi Alonso last season when he first managed Leverkusen was also not has experience but he is capable of success, I think the same goes for Vincent Kompany.

Not Pep Guardiola, but the philosophy of modern football today and Pep Guardiola is an example and also several coaches who have worked with Pep have proven to have good coaching qualities, the same goes for Kompany.
I think Vincent Kompany should be given full support, regardless of what happened in his past with his previous team, but now with Bayern everything will be different and I still can't give any judgment without proof from Vincent Kompany.

This is what we should be thinking about Vincent Kompany and not use his past to tarnish his upcoming future with Bayern Munich. Managing a bigger team like Bayern Munich after managing a smaller team and failed to be successful is very demanding for him. He wouldn’t have been considered for the coach of such a prominent club if a potential have not been seen with him. It is true that we don’t see his potential yet, but I still feel he can do better than he did at Burnley, until then, I don’t want to look down on him or limit what he can offer to the team when he begins to coach them.

Next season is just around the corner, and when it begins, in his first five matches we can grade him to see how far he can go with the club. His success with the team will determine how long he’ll will stay in the club or if he can make it till the time his contract will expire. If he can’t do much as wanted from him, his time in the club will be short and it’ll cause more doom to his career. I hope he can propel the team as Xabi Alonso did in Bayern Leverkusen last season.

Still, this will make me pessimistic because Vincent Kompany is not the right coach to handle Bayern Munich. He still feels he lacks experience to handle a team as big as Bayern Munich and just being able to compete in the top four will be a good achievement for him next season. It looks like Bayern Munich will have to forget about their target of reclaiming the title from Leverkusen.

Pep Guardiola has indeed become an inspirational figure for several new coaches and in my opinion, what he has taught is sometimes only a few are successful and Vincent Kompany is not included in his circle.

I can't wait to see the performance of Leverkusen in the next season. Leverkusen had an epic performance so far in this season ended the Bundesliga season in a good way to end Bayern Munich's record of winning the title every season.
Now I want to see if Leverkusen will dominate the Bundesliga and win the title for the other teams like Bayern Munich, or if they will lose it to the other teams and let Bayern Munich take back their place.

We already know what Alonsol is capable of, but now I would like to see what Kompany is capable of, how good he is, as Guardiola says about him. Sometimes those big gamble are what brings out the best in a team. Kompany knows that a lot will be expected from him next season, so I think he will only focus more on how to improve the team and make them better when he takes over as the head coach from next season. No one can give a full confidence to Kompany because in his last job, he didn’t perform well and so everyone thinks managing a bigger club than that one is a more big gamble to the club and that he might end up disappointing them in the end.

Anything can happen in football. What happened to Alonso at Bayern Leverkusen was not something anyone was expecting from him being his first time coaching them, but he made us have believe that anything is possible even the ones that looks impossible can be made possible with good strategy approach. Kompany can do well, but let’s see what he got to offer from next season.

St Pauli, Holstein Kiel and Dusseldorf are the teams that will be promoted to the Bundeliga next season. This will be a new journey for them to try out competition in the Bundesliga and of course this will be a challenge for them to be able to perform well and be able to compete closely in the highest caste of German football. I hope so too, they can perform well and compete fiercely, don't let them just sit around and in the next season they will go back to the second tier.
They can take advantage of the transfer market to make a better squad that can compete in the Bundesliga. To be honest, I don't really know what their financial situation is, because I don't really follow the team that managed to get promoted, but if I look at it, it seems like they are doing well, even though it can't be compared to the finances of Bayern Munich for example.
I hope they can give a new color to the competition in the Bundesliga next season, hopefully they can succeed in providing that competition.

We cannot deny that Leverkusen is the only team that has performed quite well this season while still maintaining their unbeaten record in the league, besides that with a makeshift squad that is barely strengthened by star players actually makes Leverkusen add to their greatness, so that this directly affects Alonso prestige as a coach, before making Leverkusen like today maybe no big team wants to Risking their team on Alonso is his very little experience in coaching, but after all he has done at Leverkusen this season it is certainly not surprising that make Liverpool, Munich and several other big teams want to sign him as a coach.

Alonso has done a very extraordinary job this season with Bayer Leverkusen and he will be remembered for all time because of his rare achievement. But that great achievement is certainly very difficult to be repeated because in the future the challenges will come more seriously. I will not judge that Alonso will be able to return to success as he has done but the hope to maintain the title is still quite open if he does not overhaul the team on a large scale. To compete in the Champions League, of course it will not be easy, being able to qualify for the semifinals is very great but the Champions League atmosphere is very much different from the Bundesliga and Leverkusen has experienced painful things when losing in the Europa League.

Leverkusen is one of the teams that is highly anticipated for their appearance in the Champions League, many people want to see how they will perform in the Champions League after they have performed well throughout this season. Expectations on them are getting higher and they must answer that with the very good performances they can show. Now is the right time for Xabi to show that he is a quality coach. And if he can successfully bring Leverkusen to do a lot in the Champions League next season, he will be a coach who will receive many offers.
Last season alone, Xabi received more offers to train other clubs, although in the end he preferred to stay at Leverkusen as usual. And this will of course make many people curious about Leverkusen's performance in the Champions League because the team is still coached by the same coach so there are many people who have high expectations for Leverkusen. Although I wouldn't be surprised if Leverkusen failed to win the Champions League because this league is a league that is very difficult to predict.
It's natural that many people have high expectations for Leverkusen next season because during the time that Xabi Alonso has been Leverkusen's coach, quite a lot of positive progress has been shown, so it is very likely that this can continue.
However, to win the Champions League, I also think it will be quite difficult, the competition in the UCL will be much fiercer with other top European teams, so it is unlikely that Xabi Alonso can bring Leverkusen to victory with the squad he has.

I was thinking about what Bayern Munich needed to improve to be stronger next season... I assume it is obviously the defending. They conceded 45 goals in the Bundesliga last season which is huge for a title challenger.  Sad

They don't need any transfer for the attacking line. They were the most productive team of the season by 94 goals you know. The only thing they can do is to find someone for Choupo-Moting's place as he is leaving. They were looking for a centre-back as far as I know. Jonathan Tah is a target for them currently. He would be a great addition honestly. I don't think Upamecano is performing well. He tends to make simple mistakes a lot. Tah might be a good replacement for him.  Wink

But one more thing that is the main factor is the right manager to handle Bayern Munich because after all, if Bayern Munich makes a mistake or is wrong in choosing a manager then it will be difficult for Bayern Munich to stop Bayer Leverkusen's dominance. Indeed,  next season there may be many changes that will occur but still, I personally believe that Bayer Leverkusen still has good abilities to dominate the Bundesliga next season. Moreover, other teams such as Dortmund, Leipzig and maybe several other teams also seem to have good strength to be able to compete  strongly in the race for the title next season. Therefore, the Bayern Munich manager really has to be able to manage Bayern Munich well because if not, ofcourse Bayern Munich will be left behind or lose in the title race.

Already I observed that Bayern Munich players were not comfortable with Thomas Tuchel and that was more of the reasons why the players didn't give in their best in their matches last season even though they managed to end in a good position in the league table but I noticed there was something odd about the performance of Bayern but instead of bringing Vincent Kompany they should have just retained Tuchel probably they would have done more better next season because even Kompany can't take Bayern to their best because he is yet to have a good understanding about the club and he hasn't coached any prominent club as to say he will be equal to the task ahead of him at Bayern Munich but we should all wait for the season to begin then his capacity will be tested only then we can be able to know if he is the right man to manage Bayern Munich.

I disagree that it is because Bayern Munich players were not comfortable with Thomas Tuchel; that was the reason why they performed poorly this season. Even before Thomas Tuchel became Bayern Munich's head coach, Bayern Munich was already struggling in the Bundesliga. Bayern Munich could not beat their opponents as easily as usual, and if not for the miracle that happened last season on matchday 34, Bayern Munich would have missed out on winning last season's Bundesliga title.

Even me I totally disagree because I see no connection between Thomas Tuche and the players not being on a good terms as the reason for not being consistent enough to win the league because we already no that Bayern Munich was on a terrible form this season, though for me I see it as a very natural thing because their are times when a big team that's well known by their performance will sometimes lose form giving the smaller team the opportunity to win the league, so is very normal that Bayern Munich was not totally prepared for this season that was why they were seriously struggling and the more they tried to overtake Bayern Leverkusen that's actually the more Bayern Leverkusen is climbing two steps ahead of them.

Although I am not a Bayern Munich fan, but I admit that Bayern Munich always has a chance to get the Bundesliga trophy. It's not about Bayern Munich's long dominance of the Bundesliga trophy, but because Bayern Munich also has a good team,  so it's no surprise when Bayern Munich remains the favorite team. But even so, at this moment I think Bayern Munich is experiencing a bad era, because after last season Bayern Munich failed to win the trophy. Even worse,  Bayern Munich gambled by appointing Vincent Kompany as its new manager for next season. Although indeed, basically Bayern Munich still has a good squad, but it seems that I personally will still doubt the quality of Vincent Kompany so that makes me still quite sure Bayern Munich will still fail next season.
I am sure that the matter is in the conflict between Tuchel and the team, otherwise Bayern would have been able to give Bayer proper competition. I don't see any big problems with the lack of players in some positions that could affect the team so much that the team's play would have to change that much. From the very beginning I doubted how good Tuchel is as a coach for Bayern, and I admit that regarding Kompany I also have doubts, only because he has not worked with such big teams before, we can only hope that Guardiola’s school will give him an advantage.

Every player wants to win silverware every season, so it will be hard for players to intentionally perform poorly just to give their coach bad results. This can only happen when a club is already performing poorly, they are not in the top four of their league table, and when the players have fallen out of favor with their coach. They will continue to produce bad results, so their coach will be sacked. I agree that Bayern Munich should have given Thomas Tuchel time to prove himself at Bayern Munich because there's a problem at Bayern Munich that a coach can't fix in a season.
