Dortmund have started the season in a good way although their competitor was quite tough in fact. Leverkusen struggled in the first half maybe but the scenario changed in the second half. However Dortmund still managed to keep the 1-0 lead until the final whistle. After Haaland's departure this was their first official tough game and they were successful. It would be really nice to see them being more competitive than the previous season but we will see. I especially hope to see a better defending from them this season.

Schalke 04 is lucky to finish the game with only three conceded goals. Kerim Çalhanoğlu played in only last minute so I still have no idea how good he is. With each game, it's more and more obvious that Lewandowski overestimated himself - a huge part of his achievements was the merit of the team. We can not say for sure Eintracht Frankfurt is not that strong, but we can be sure to be surprised by them sometimes, but not this time, I can see the addition of Sadio Mane have change the way Bayern Munich's gameplay and it was really the right decision to make, but I am still waiting for Bayern Munich to have a match with either Dortmund, Leipzig or Leverkusen just to be sure but I will be making my bets this time,
Yeah Frankfurt are a good team but Bayern are also German giants. It takes a whole lot to beat such team with so many good quality players. With Sadio Mane in their attack their attack has improved a lot. The way they are scoring right now, it will be hard to stop them this time again. I'm not sure what to expect from Dortmund this year. Of course they have a lot of opportunities because they have a nice group of players, but if Haaland loses and also an unfit Haller .. then it becomes a difficult story. Bayern become champions, I think the objective for all other clubs is to be 2nd or at least secure the Champions League participation. Or try to win the DFB Pokal. Dortmund must be careful that it does not have a mediocre start to the season, just like last year, because I think Leipzig and Leverkusen will be quite far away.

Leverkusen really did their best after conceding the goal very early but it was in vain. It is a nice win for Dortmund maybe but they will need to do better than this in the other games ahead. As long as they improve their performance there is no problem otherwise they can finish this season even at a worse position than the last one. Leipzig also can be more serious this season by the way as I have heard that they are almost finishing the permanent deal of Timo Werner now.

Bayern Munich beat Eintracht Frankfurt by a different score. They are a team above the German League. Sometimes I think that special leagues should be created for teams like Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain. If a special league is formed, they can compete with teams in their own equivalence.

as kicker reports today, borussia dortmund is close to signing Anthony Modeste. the striker from bundesliga rivals 1. fc köln still has a contract until 2023. bvb has already reached an agreement with the player and the signing is expected to be completed in the next few days.
