Only one more day, then it starts. Eintracht Frankfurt vs. FC Bayern, and Bayern is much better. There have been 103 duels between the two teams so far 56x Bayern has won, 24x Frankfurt won and 22 drew. Today I would say Bayern has a very strong team and I think Frankfurt has no chance, even at home in the stadium. In Frankfurt Bayern have won 18x, against no other club there were so many home defeats as against Munich.
On paper, Bayern Munich is superior in every respect to Frankfurt. But I hope it's all in their past, meaning in this match Frankfurt can surprise or even beat Bayern Munich in their first game. Wouldn't it be nice to see Bayern lose their first game? If so it will make other teams will be more motivated.

This rumours appears because of Fabrizio Romano Twitter that he claimed Ronaldo has agree to joining Dortmund for buy option but this news hasn't clarified yet by Dortmund or Ronaldo but after rejected for many big clubs i think possibly he will considering the offers from Dortmund especially currently Dortmund still lack of forward players and the most important is Dortmund playing at champion league so he can playing at that competition with Dortmund to achieved his personal ambition
Even when the rumors going around and Fabrizio Romano has written something on twitter i dont think that Ronaldo will be playing in germany .
Specialy after the last weekend where he was leaving in the halftime after he played a halftime at his current Club.
The money he will cost is not worth just that he can play in the Champions League.

Personally, I don’t think Dortmund is going to be a suitable idea for Cristiano Ronaldo because Dortmund as a club is not interested in capturing trophies. To be more specific, Dortmund is not very competitive in nature. That is the absolute opposite of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Even though at this point of his career he has achieved almost everything and there is nothing much to prove for him he is still a very competitive player by nature. And Manchester United is at least trying to do something better. I don’t see anything like that happening in Dortmund. So I believe that it is going to be a really terrible idea for Cristiano Ronaldo to move to Dortmund just to play in the Champions League.

I think, it will be a welcome development to Dortmund if cristiano Ronaldo will accept to join the team in this season because Dortmund is seriously lacking potential strikers in the team. If Dortmund president can pay cristiano Ronaldo higher than the amount of money Manchester united are paying him, I believe cristiano Ronaldo will be willing to join the team to help them to achieve this season champion league title. Cristiano Ronaldo will not leave Manchester united to a team that will not be able to pay him a good amount of money in this season than to remain in Manchester united for this season.

I think they are pretty sure with this in Mane's capacity and will continue to use him as a replacement for Lewandowski and at the same time as a Targetman there.
With Mane and their evenly distributed goal productivity in their midfield and second striker, I don't think this will be too much of a problem although it may be less than before but in terms of performance it is clear they can still compete.
bayern have a strong midfield-forward, this was evident from the opponent against leipzig a few days ago, almost all of bayern's front-midfielders scored against leipzig

The strength of the Bayern squad this season is not much different when Lewandowski was there, and Bayern's dominance over the Bundesliga has not stopped because of Lewandowski's departure
Lewandowski is their goal machine because over the past few seasons almost half of Bayern's goals have come from Lewandowski and that is a fact. on the other hand when he leaves then their productivity will be a bit difficult but as you said, players in any line not only in their attack Bayern can still score goals and that is their advantage so even if their goal ratio is reduced this does not have any impact in terms of performance.

Losing Lewandowski of course will greatly affect the productivity of Bayern's goals, because as you said in the last few seasons Lewandowski
became Bayern's goal machine to win many important matches. So I don't think it will be easy for Sadio Mane to replace Lewandowski as
Bayern's top goalscorer. But I still believe Bayern can still dominate the Bundesliga even without Lewandowski, because Bayern's strength is
not only up front. After all, Bayern is not a team that only relies on one player, therefore Bayern finally dared to sell Lewandowski to Barcelona,
although Lewandowski's contract actually still has one more season left for Bayern. Because Bayern believe that losing Lewandowski will not have
a big impact on Bayern's performance, although it must be admitted that Bayern will likely be reduced from goal productivity. That's not a problem,
the most important thing for Bayern still has a large enough winning percentage.

I consider it a rumor. Dortmund is a team that is not interested in spending a lot of money to build a team. Dortmund can buy a bunch of young players for the same amount of money they will buy Ronaldo. And after a few years they can sell these players and make money. But if Ronaldo is included in the team, Dortmund will not be able to earn money by selling Ronaldo after 2 years. All in all it will be a complete loss project for Dortmund. They will not take such a big risk with Ronaldo on the team.
On the one hand, I agree that Ronaldo does not quite fit into the philosophy of the team and such a project as Borussia Dortmund itself. On the other hand, it seems that Ronaldo himself has slightly stung his financial appetites just for the very opportunity to play in the Uefa Champions League, so to a certain extent it would be a win-win option for Borussia Dortmund as a marketing ploy that would ensure the arrival of a bunch of sponsors and a bunch of subscribers on social networks. No matter what anyone says, but Ronaldo and Messi are two modern icons of football and I am very surprised that Bayern Munich refused such a tasty piece of pie, because with all due respect to Mane, he is not such a media personality, even compared to Salah, so I am not surprised that Liverpool extended the contract with Salah, not Mane.

Dortmund probably doesn't even have that kind of cash right now, but assuming that even if they do, would it really be smarter for Ronaldo to go to Dortmund just because they will be in UCL? I mean I get it, he cares about his records and he wants all the remainder of his career to be playing in UCL and not somewhere else, that is understandable.
Have rumors about Cristiano Ronaldo playing for Dortmund, but I doubt with this transfer will happening because beside have to prepare much salary for Cristiano Ronaldo, Dortmund need to pay transfer values for Manchester United. Absolutely Dortmund get many benefit if success make transfer with Cristiano Ronaldo because fans most excited with Ronaldo and his jersey will sold out awhile. Ambition playing on UEFA Champion League still make Cristiano Ronaldo not stay with Manchester United and he want continue at least of his career can play on Champion League, never success lead until final and got trophy champion league last several years with Juventus and Manchester United after leaving Real Madrid.

But we'll see when the transfer market closes. I myself am optimistic that he will still be here.
I agree on that.
And i just have readed yesterday that Sporting Lissabon is one of the Teams that want Ronaldo.
Also its getting closer that we will see maybe Timo Werner again in Leipzig according to sky transfer news.
Would be loving it to see him playing again in the german league and in Leipzig.

Seem like Ronaldo was desperate after rejecting by Bayern, I don't know how his Agent called the rival to must bring also the situation.
I agree with you, Dortmund is not interesting in any title, the club is a making player company and sells it after being an item. they aren't got a profit when brought Ronaldo, because of second hand and it's hard to sell it again with the high price in the next session.

In my own estimation, Dortmund is not a good option, it would be like finishing off cr7's career, they have a lousy defense. For example Villareal scored 3 and Valencia 2 against them in their previous games. These defeats in itself is not a good sign. The question here is does Cristiano want a club that plays in the champions league? Or does he want a club capable of winning the champions league? Depending on the answer, it will be Cristiano's decision, although I doubt very much that Cr7 wants to go alone to play the champions, he wants win the champions and that will be possible with Chelsea or a Bayern Munich.

But, just a year at Europa doesn't seem like it would be worth to leave United and go to Dortmund. Not that it would be a bad transfer for Dortmund, but United seems like a better team and Ronaldo doesn't want to be there just because of the competition they are in, but he is becoming the type of player even they may not want to begin with if he keeps this up.

The team in the Bundesliga should learn from what Real Madrid did, especially Bayern Munich. Because if you look at the internal conditions of the club, it is clear that Bayern Munich has everything. But so far they have not been able to achieve that. What I see from Bayern Munich is that they lack mentality. Especially if they are in a state of stress, it is certain that they are difficult to get out of that pressure.
I don't know, need something more, maybe luck, maybe something else. Remember the match between Real Madrid and City, Real lost in regular time and managed to score two goals in extra time, in some incredible way. Could Bayern do that? I don't know, I remember when Manchester United was able to do this in the final with Bayern. Smiley In fact, Bayern have everything to win the Champions League, just like City and Liverpool, but only one can be a champion.

Although it's still just speculation, it looks like it could happen because it's also reported that Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester United on the grounds that he wants to play in the champions league and Dortmund is also currently in need of a new striker after losing Haller, so I think what  said by Romano can be true because both parties currently need each other, although this has not been confirmed by dortmund but usually what Romano says has always been true regarding player transfers so far.

True, I also didn't think that Ronaldo would join Borussia Dortmund, especially after he rejoined Manchester United and was part of the line-up in their pre-season game. Actually I think the rumors of him have ended once he was in Manchester. But we'll see when the transfer market closes. I myself am optimistic that he will still be here.

I think, many teams are well prepared for this tournament to showcase their tactics to their fans to believe that this season title belong to them. Frankfurt players really demonstrated well from first half to second half, they remain stronger to alert other teams that they have what it takes to win this title this season. Despite Magdeburg potential defenders in the match, they find it difficult to stopped Frankfurt strikers not to achieve a goals from the match because Frankfurt strikers are very good in achieving early goals from any competition to achieve the victory at the end of the match.

Well, Eintracht Frankturf is a pretty much decent team, but as they are now they will never stood a chance against Bayern Munich, and you are right that even without Lewandowski Bayern is still a formidable team to be underestimated, and right now that they have remade their team with the hand pick that they think worthy from other teams from the other league, and for me when August 6 strikes I will put my bet for Bayern Munich for sure,

They are quite aware of this when they add a few players there they will narrow the gap between them and Bayern or maybe better than that and beat the dominance.
But they need improvement everywhere with a very large amount of money to be drained there with results that are still uncertain.
When you say this, actually it will only make the competition competitive, not to beat Bayern's dominance because for the champion is also uncertain. So they don't want to take that risk.

The risk is very high in actuality because of Lewandowski's leaving, but it is all speculation and there is no certainty about it, In my opinion, 5 to 10 games for Bayern Munich if they win a majority of it then they are still a team worthy to be called champions, but if not then this will be a Bundesliga season worthy to say to be competitive, because right now Bayern Munich is struggling very much and that is not a good sign for Bayern Munich,

They are already a monster for me with or without Lewandowski in the Bundesliga.  Grin  Because their discipline and strategies don't change even though they lose an important player and this keeps the team still strong. The rest of the teams in the league also will need to improve their performances otherwise they wouldn't keep up with Bayern Munich as always. Teams like Dortmund, Leipzig and Leverkusen for example are the closest teams that might catch up with Bayern Munich but they need to step up.

Do you mean relying on Robert Lewandowski so much, if you are watching the games in the Bundesliga, they are letting Lewandowski shoot the ball, and relying so much on them that he can make the shot, and certainly other player will then focus on defense, I don't want to say that Players of the Bayern Munich doesn't have discipline, but relying so much on Lewandowski is not an option right now every player will need to do their part now, and I think it is now a requirement for Bayern Munich for the new players to get accustomed with the team,

Actually they were doubted even before stepping out of the knockout phase, many of them did think that Real Madrid would be destroyed in the Champions League last season. That's because the opponents they face are strong teams who are favourites. But they managed to silence it all, even though they struggled in the game, but they were able to finish it well.
I also can't understand that when Real Madrid is able to finish every match well and win the Champions League, it's very clear that Real Madrid is being made difficult by all of their opponents. But I don't know what spirit the Real Madrid players have that they are able to work together so well in every game and win the trophy in the end.

Finishing must be the problem from munich and it must be solved. This team has been getting into the final of champion leagu so many times but the problem is repeating again and again. So many times loosing at the final which makes this club is still far from the real madrid.Bayern needs to learn from all of its past experience. This is bundesliga. i have no doubt with it's kinda different with la liga.

The Bundesliga and the Champions League are very different rivalries. In the Champions League the teams that compete are the best teams in their respective leagues. As already said, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Liverpool, are the teams to watch out for. Especially Real Madrid who we know they are very difficult to beat when playing in the Champions League, although many doubt it.
Who can doubt that real madrid are difficult to beat in the champions league, they are the tournaments kings and they are called that because they have won it more than any other team, that can only mean they are difficult to beat, though i think some clubs were stronger than them last season and should have eliminated them before they got to the final and won it, but they did. This season psg may be a team to look out for, their new manager seems good, if he sets up that team perfectly, they can win any opposition on their day.
PSG should be looked out for i concur to that and adding Bayern to the list. The departure of Lewandoski has made the forward of Bayern more creative and not the regular one man front game. I am strongly expecting a highly competitive season. To me the era of Real Madrid maintaining the UCL consecutively is fading off. I am expecting a new UCL champion this time
