I don't think an offensive strategy can be used as an excuse for their defense to be weak. In fact many teams are implementing the same strategy but their defense remains solid. Means that something went wrong in their strategy, they forgot a vital position, namely the defense area. I think it can be minimized by strengthening their midfield. If their midfielders can break every attack that is built, then their defense will be maintained.

They won't really be terrible on defense, they just won't be as good, which is a big difference. Reality is that we are talking about Bayern having way too many offensive players and that means that we are not going to see a ton of them actually make a big change.

This is why it's clear as a day that we will be seeing them mainly coming for things like "score more than the other team" type of deals, and not something like defensive. They have world class offensive players to use, if they do not utilize all of them at the same time and try to pressure the other team to stay on defense, all they have to worry about is counter attacks which could be broken easily with quick defenders which they have.

We have been getting rumours like Bayern Munich might not sign a new centre-forward. This would be really interesting to see if they are really aiming to do this. Because I still don't think that they are fully complete for the Champions League especially. Maybe the current squad would do a very good job in the Bundesliga still. But they need a striker for the Champions League if they want a big success there. Lewandowski's absence would be felt there a lot.

Next season Eintracht Frankfurt will be in the top 5 in the Bundesliga. They currently have the 5th most valuable team in the league, even more valuable than Wolfsburg. They have a big squad and many players who can be play, no big injuries. The Champions League brings them a lot of money and if they win a lot of games there, they will be able to be more successful the next few years. I see the upcoming Top3 of the Bundesliga is Frankfurt.

The first local trophy for bayern munich after an impressive 5 3 win against leipzig as always bayern defense is still weak but there is no competition for them in germany so i guess it won't matter congrats to them for this win and it seems the bundesliga will still be theirs this season.

In the last match, Frankfurt won 5-0. It was a very dominating performance from them. Even though it was club-friendly, I have to say they performed really well and they will be heading into the DFB-Pokal match with great confidence.

I believe they are going to win for sure. Naturally, I won't mention the goal difference they are likely to win. Frankfurt is on a hot winning streak. I didn’t notice that but the last time Frankfurt lost a match, it was in February. And that match was also against Bayern Munich. Frankfurt is going to be very confident coming into the next match.

Frankfurt's confidence is still very big now and it's true as you say because considering Frankfurt were the Europa League champions last season and I'm sure that the Frankfurt players still have very high spirits in this pre-season match. And if the opponent is Magdeburg I also believe that Frankfurt can win regardless of how many goals the Frankfurt players can score.

I guess, Frankfurt will not miss this opportunity to defeat Magdeburg 2-0 for the favour of Frankfurt. Frankfurt coach will do everything possible within his power to achieve victory from this match because he will not allow what happened in last season to repeat itself again in this season than to introduce new strategies that will help the team to remain unbeatable through out this tournament. Magdeburg defenders are very wrong in this season, but it will be difficult for the match to end up draw because Frankfurt strikers will definitely achieve goals from this match that will make them to become a winner.

I also watched the match and i have to say that Bayern looked quite strong in some parts but also a little shaky at the same time. The whole offense did work surprisingly well for me and i have to say, that at least in yesterdays game it was not obvious that Lewandowski was missing because Müller, Mane, and Gnabry made a great game.
At the same time, the defense look just as shaky as it was in the last season. Of course De Ligt needs a little more time to get used to Bayern and the way that they are playing.

In this case, De Ligt still needs to get used to it, I think because it is unlikely that their chemistry will be formed immediately from just a few matches.
What is clear in this case they don't seem to have too much of a problem in their attack line as most people worry about Lewa leaving there. because if we look at the current Bundesliga class they still dominate normally.
