Dortmund are one of the teams that like to sign and grow young and talented players. They are like a steppingstone for that kind of players. Erling Haaland was one of them for example. He wasn't known much by people before but things changed a lot after joining Dortmund. It is going to continue to be the same for very talented players like him. Dortmund's main goal must be this because of that. If they aimed the Bundesliga championship first then they would build a squad according to it.
In fact, Borussia Dortmund's vision is very good, they are successful in creating quality players. But how good their ability to create quality players is coupled with achievements, it will be something very extraordinary. It's just that until now I haven't seen that they will do that (achievement). It's a shame when their abilities are not put to good use.
I think they have shown some quality teams that can get into big clubs like for example now there is Erling Haaland who managed to set a record for the highest transfer fee for this season and managed to get into a top class team so this shows that the club has presented its quality as a scorer professional players who have the best quality.

Actually Dortmund very worried will lost this player especially in Bellingham contract there is no clause option which mean every clubs can buy him anytime and Bellingham said he want to stay longer in Dortmund and don't want to leave this team but because he is targeted for many clubs so not impossible if someday he will leave Dortmund and currently his price tag approximately 120 millions euro seems this is might be overpriced but why Dortmund provide him high price because they don't want him to leave but Liverpool confirmed for this year he isn't their primary target anymore but he still on watchlist Madrid
I mean if he is offered a huge amount of money, then Dortmund shouldn't be really worried about it at all, they would be making money. I still have zero clue what they do with that money, looking at the past 2 years they have made over 150 million euro profit from the sales, and I did not see them spend that money on buying new players.

If you are going to make that kind of money, and not spend it, then you are going to be pretty bad team, how could you get better. If you asked me, I would have said that they should spend more than what they earned, and make a debt, to be better for a few years at least and get a championship finally. In the end, even if they make another 100+ million from his sale, they won't spend it, and they will be worse again.

It is the decision of Dortmund management to make money by selling the star players it has, so it seems difficult to change this tradition.
Therefore, it is not surprising that in the end Dortmund struggled to win trophies, because almost every season they sell their star players.
This has been one of the most reason they usually finds it difficult to achieve trophy, and probably end seasons without trophy. The last time they probably won the Bundesliga title was in the year 2011, and . Therefore, the management have to understand that selling out majority of their star players is really affecting the club performance.
They have to change their tradition, if only they want to start winning trophies.

If Liverpool insist on signing Jude Bellingham then this will be the club's most expensive transfer or a record-breaking most expensive transfer, I personally consider it still possible to happen. Although indeed, Jude Bellingham himself is still under contract with Dortmund until June 2025, this may be one big obstacle. But if Liverpool really have the money to sign him then why not, because Liverpool at least still has the profits from the sales of Sadio Mane and Takumi Minamino.
@hahay irrespective of the odds and the rumours I believe that he won’t leave Dortmund in a World Cup year, because if he transfers now and gets limited playing time then he’ll drop out of the World Cup squad, hence I expect that he’ll stay put for this season. However next year I expect many teams to target him, and I wouldn’t be surprised if all top 6 teams in premier league ended up targeting him.
Regarding his position for a place in the world cup or in the national team I don't think it would matter if he moved, because Jude Bellingham is proving to be a talented young player. Even today it is not only Liverpool who have an interest in Jude Bellingham, there are still Real Madrid and Chelsea who are also interested in Jude Bellingham. The reason is, Dortmund itself still doesn't want to release Jude Bellingham because of course Dortmund still really need him. Liverpool and Real Madrid clearly want Jude Bellingham because their midfielders are old, therefore signing Jude Bellingham is their target to make him a player who will replace the old players in their squad.

Maybe this is their management strategy goal to create a star and sell it on market, but of course all measures there must be a good and a bad side, they will not be competitive on each session because all gone and on another side, they will get more cash. And still, in the football industry, the orientation is more about money, and no one can avoid them even fans or supporters.
Ofcourse,it is their tradition because this is not the first time they have sold their star, they are always selling their best player every season and this usually affect their season because before they find a replacement,it's always very hard. But it will really be disappointing for their fans to be in this kind of situation where  they will be having heart break because of the club's culture of selling their best player. They must have fans that are used to the culture, and live with the culture.

This is nothing new for Dortmund. They have done this before. They sell the most important player in their squad at a high price and make money. This is their business. Since Dortmund's goal is not to win the title. They have bought several players. While the start of next season may not be very stable for them, Dortmund's performance will be stable if new players adapt to the team. They will not face too many problems. And next season we will see Dortmund in the top four of the table.

I wonder why Borussia Dortmund puts money ahead of achievement, when it would be nice for them to take both. If they get achievements I think they will also earn money. But if they prioritize money then they will lose what is called achievement. If they want I'm sure they will be able to get it all.

In two consecutive seasons Dortmund has lost two of their biggest starts in Sancho and Erling Halland, this isn’t good act from a team hoping to compete with Bayern Munich for the German Bundes liga come next season, while few of Bayern starts has left or expected to leave they are adding fresh legs of which most noticeable is the signing of Sadio Mane to the team, I believe mane is up there with the best footballers in the world and is a great power boost for the German giants.

Dortmund just fancy grooming players to become the best and the next thing is to sell the players,  Dortmund do this to generate funds for the club because they sell their players for reasonable amount of money. Dortmund selling their best players is affecting the clubs performance,  atleast they are supposed to retain some good players that can help them win trophies.

It seems Dortmund's priority is money, so it's hard to expect Dortmund to be able to end Bayern's dominance in the Bundesliga. Even after
Dortmund sold Haaland to Man City, there are rumors that they will also sell Jude Bellingham if there is a club that dares to pay a lot of money
for Bellingham. Even though Jude Bellingham has not played for Dortmund for a long time, Bellingham was brought in from Birmingham in 2020,
so Bellingham still needs more time to play at Dortmund to develop his game for the better. But we all know how Dortmund's management is
more concerned with money than anything else, so it is very possible that Bellingham will be sold by Dortmund in the transfer market this year.

Sancho was better in Dortmund before leaving the club. Well that's the strategy of Dortmund, they count on young talent to replace their stars that will end up by leaving the club for a nice price. For the moment If you take a look on the attack line you will find many under 25 years. There is also those that promoted from U19.
Because their strategy is like this, looking for potential young players, sharpened until they are really reliable, selling at high prices. Their flow in the Bundesliga is like that.
If you look at the previous few seasons how many of their young players were sold at a high enough price and indeed they got a big profit from there. For next season and for the seasons to come, as long as Bayern's hegemony continues, there is no other way for sure they will use this strategy again and again in order to maintain their financial stability.

Dortmund is one of the best team we have in bundesliga after Bayern Munich, they are well known for their creativity and productivity. For the past few years, Dortmund has created some few talented players taking over football, they produce and create young talented players. Perhaps, the team don't have much money to sustain their players, they only brings out the best from a player and later sell him for a high amount of price. That has been their business for the past few years now, and that's why they can't win the bundesliga title again, cause for the past ten years now, Bayern is the only team winning the bundesliga title. And borrussia Dortmund is the only team that can compete with Bayern for the title, and they have been failing to do that cause they don't have much player to withstand Bayern.

It's just that Borussia Dortmund has a different strategy and the club does not have enough money to keep promising players who appear with enviable regularity in the club. This is not a long-term strategy of Bayern Munich, which buys strong players from all over the world to strengthen its squad and the best players in Germany who could not buy foreign clubs rich. All this strengthens Bayern Munich and at the same time weakens rival clubs, which allows Bayern to win the Bundesliga for 10 years in a row. All that remains for Borussia Dortmund is to wait patiently for their chance. As Borussia CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke recently put it, Bayern will start to decline at some point in the next few years. However, I personally am not sure, Borussia Dortmund will be exactly the club that will be able to take advantage of this decline and win the Bundesliga.

I am also hearing that Real Madrid is also interested in Jude Bellingham. This kid seems to be really good and acts only 19 years of age he has already got the biggest names in football chasing him with almost any amount of money that they need to give. The 100 million euro release clause can be something of an obstacle but I don’t think with the teams that are chasing this player that money is going to look too much.
I have to say, it's not really shocking because that kid is one of the best players in all of bundesliga football at that age. I mean there are obviously better players older than him, but at 19 or lower ages, he is by far the best. He was even picked for Fifa tots for bundesliga a s well at that age. If he leaves, and goes to a major club like Real Madrid, that kid will be a 100+ million player one day for sure.

Looking at Madrid, the timing works as well. He would be about 20-21 when Real Madrid midfield gets old. This way he would take over right at the great age, and would be able to do that for 10+ years without a worry and he would bring them so much success.

I don't think that Jude Bellingham is leaving Dortmund anytime soon. I mean I believe he won't be allowed to leave as long as a team show up and pay the fee in his release clause. However it is more than 100 million euros and I have big doubts about whether any team would be willing to go for it still. Liverpool have been a rumoured team with him in the recent times but I expect this to stay as rumours. It hasn't been much time they signed Darwin Nunez for 75 million. Maybe they wouldn't like to pay more than 100 million for one player now.
If Liverpool insist on signing Jude Bellingham then this will be the club's most expensive transfer or a record-breaking most expensive transfer, I personally consider it still possible to happen.
