but isn't this transfer fee way too high ? can werder bremen afford another good player now ? i think only Stage won't be enough to survive in the midfield of the bundesliga. one or two good guys have to come. otherwise it will be a damn hard season for bremen.
werder bremen now announces the next transfer and, according to a club statement, has reached "an agreement in principle" with sheffield united on the transfer of Oliver Burke. only formalities are currently still to be clarified. in the 2016/17 season, he made 25 bundesliga games for rb leipzig before moving to the english club west bromwich albion... other stations followed until he now returns to the bundesliga. the player comes to svw on a free transfer Smiley

Looks like it is going to be a 13 million deal taking place for this player.
Not a bad transfer for a player who can play as both a striker and a winger.
Should be a good deal with the amount of money that is being offered.

One of the problems that happened to Lewandowski was wanting for his salary to be increased but Bayern Munich didn't agree to it, this had such a bad impact that in the end the player wanted to leave. I also previously assumed that, when Bayern Munich signed Mane maybe it would be easier for the negotiations that took place between Bayern Munich and Barcelona. But what happened Bayern Munich remained strong in his desire at the price he wanted, even though Barcelona did not give up and kept trying to get Lewandowski.

As far as i know Lewandowski is earning around 25 Million € per year at the moment at Bayern Munich. This is one of the top salaries in Europe and i think it was already pretty generous from Bayern to offer Lewandowski a new contract with the same salary again. In the end we also have to put into account that covid took a heavy hit on the financial income of all clubs including Bayern. To demand a pay raise even under those circumstances is pretty outrageous in my opinion.
Today i read the news that bayern declined another offer of Barcelona which had 40 Million € as immediate transfer fee plus 10 Million € of possible bonuses. I think if Barcelona is offering 50 Million € without any bonuses then Bayern will agree. At least i hope that.

Age is not really the issue in that case. Benzema is 35 years old and we have seen him do wonders this year. I am not saying that every single 35 year old would have their peak performance season of course, but if Zlatan could play at 40+ and if Benzema could be top la liga and UCL scorer in a season, then I believe Boateng could play very well too. If he ends up not having best of the seasons and ends up with a bad year, then I believe that would be more than just his age that creates the problem, it would probably just him not taking care of his body and not training as hard, because if you do, even at 35 you could be great and it has been proven.

At 35, not every player has the physical strength and willpower to work as hard as he did previously. So, I am not going to be surprised if his performance dropped a little. But that cannot be an excuse for any player to perform badly. If he continues to do really hard work he is surely going to find success. It is true that he will not have a team like Real Madrid to help him but he is not going to do too bad either.

There is really a big problem between Bayern Munich and Lewandowski now. He still seems to have made up his mind about leaving. The team he is leaning towards joining are now Barcelona also. Barcelona seem like they will be able to afford him however they are still trying to reach an agreement with his team. Bayern Munich mustn't force their player to stay. It is so wrong. Lewandowski is still going to retire some day even if he stays. They should just look for an alternative for him already.

I heard he has a contract until 2023. Actually holding back players who have wanted to leave is not good. I think if Bayern still hold out until next season maybe Lewandoski will experience a decline in quality. Because Lewandoski already felt uncomfortable. This has happened to Kane, at Tottenham. I think buying Mane will make it easy for Bayern to sell Lewandoski, but it looks like Barcelona don't have enough money. Actually Bayern is also not wrong it's their right to hold Lewandoski.
I think Lewandowski situation with Kane, who previously wanted to leave Tottenham, was much different, at that time Kane performance was extraordinary and his desire to win the title was one of the reasons for leaving Tottenham, unlike Lewandowski, who has achieved everything at Bayern Munich so far and he has won many awards both team and individual at bayern munchen, Lewandowski reason for moving to another club is not a matter of titles or trophies like kane but Lewandowski desire to leave munchen is none other than because he wants to find new challenges in other clubs and other leagues before his career end later, because so far he has spent his entire football career in the german league and of course he has the desire to play in another league before he retired.

I think not important about some player less respect with honoring the contract depending club get profitable business by selling them, in this cases we know how potential Robert Lewandowski right now and golden chance for Bayern sell him and earn much money. But if keep believing and respect with honoring the contract I think Bayern less opportunity to sell Lewandowski and not earn money any more. Right now how much bid values asking by Barcelona is not matter trough Bayern Munich still earn money and actually 30 million euro still profitable for Bayern Munich and they can use for getting young player.
We are shown what I call the "drama" between Lewandowski, Bayern Munich and Barcelona. Yes, this news has become interesting news to listen to, how hard the efforts of Barcelona who want to bring in Lewandowski, and also Bayern Munich who are still holding back and there is no certainty from this player. And I heard that Bayern officials made a statement that players must honor contracts. Isn't that a sign that Bayern want to keep Lewandowski? But on the other hand Bayern want a high price for a Lewandowski.
There has not been an agreement because Bayern Munich are reluctant to let the player go, that's why Bayern Munich set a high price for Lewandowski. To bring Lewandowski to Camp Nou, Barcelona had to let go of some of its star players to reduce the burden on the club because of poor financial conditions. Barcelona must be able to control the economy for the sake of the balance of the club, selling De Jong or Pedri can be done as an option to expedite the Lewandowski transfer process.
Barcelona's offer of 40 million euros has not been accepted by Bayern Munich because it is considered too low, even though Lewandowski has openly wanted to leave Bayern Munich.

This matter has been going on for a long time and I will surely like to wait for the official announcement instead of just spitballing. First of all, I think this is going to be the last offer from Barcelona and secondly, I think Bayern Munich is going to still want 50 million for this player. So, if Bayern Munich does not sell this player now for what they are offered they will be missing out on a lot of money. Any other club is going to give Bayern Munich probably close to half of what Barcelona is offering them.

You are right that Lewandowski should not be forced to stay at Bayern Munich. Because if the players are not mentally happy then their performance is not good. Lewandowski should be let go. Since Bayern Munich have picked Mane as a replacement for Lewandowski, Bayern Munich will not have too many problems next season.
However, if Barcelona want to sign Lewandowski, they will have to re-fund. Since they are in financial crisis, some players may need to raise funds through sales.

Lewandowski is not mentally prepared to remain at Bayern Munich next season. It would be unfair to force him to stay since he can't imagine further positive cooperation. It is hoped that Bayern Munich will not keep him merely because they are able to do so due to his contract. Despite the fact that he wants to win the LaLiga league and possibly the Ballon d'Or award, he wants to join Barcelona so badly. However, money talks, but Barcelona's current state of finances is unbalanced, which prevents further progress.

I'm interested to see how this situation is resolved. I could be wrong, but it seems to me that Ronaldo's ambitions outweigh financial considerations, so he can accept a pay cut (he still earns a lot from other sources) just to get into a top club playing in the Champions League (especially in Bayern, where he will be provided with an uninterrupted supply balls from Muller  Grin and from the others).
I'm not in agree with you. I don't think that Ronaldo will cut his salary and I don't think at the same time that Bayern will take him. Maybe a team like Roma can do that for only a question of income from shirts ecc. but
I don't think that a team like bayern really necessitate a player like him. Then, ronaldo is so difficult as player and needs a team built around him, and I don't think that Bayern will do this.
You say some unhealthy stereotypes about Ronaldo. Even compared to Lewandowski, he is more of a team player (and, as you can see now, a lot more moral) if you remember, Ronaldo has the most assists in the Champions League in history. In my opinion, he will easily replace Lewandowski without any restructuring of the team game.

If Lewandowski is not at Bayern Munich then I think Bayern Munich have a very good chance of getting Ronaldo in the team. There is no doubt that Bayern Munich will dominate the Bundesliga. So their goal now is to do well in the Champions League. And if they want to do well in the Champions League, they need a player like Ronaldo in their team. Mane may be a worthy replacement for Lewandowski, but Bayern Munich will be stronger if players like Ronaldo are included in the squad.

Bayern can not set too high selling offer if they really want to sell Lewandowski. He is no longer young and spending too big money for this player is not wisely.

Why we only talk about Barcelona as Lewandowski has many options, not only Barcelona. In sddition, Barcelona will struggle to add Lewandowski into the squad. He will be challenged by new coach, new tactics, and his own ageing.

40 mil. euros is not a small money but I can not believe other clubs are ready to spend more than this figure. Clubs want to buy Lewandowski will have to assess their transfer budget, their salary ceiling ie.

If they don't want to win domestic national league, they will not buy him.

Different news Mario Gotze wants to be the last jigsaw puzzle to complete Eintracht Frankfurt’s team, and right now there is a video showing that he is now training with the Eintracht Frankfurt’s club,

Mario Gotze's Training with Eintracht Frankfurt

This is certainly some good news for Frankfurt. Getting Mario Gotze on the team is going to be really great for this team. We all know what they did in the Europa League last time end, even though they had a really bad result in theIr own league, I think that might change in the next season. As far as I know, he is on the team for a three year old contract. This should be a good three years for him with Frankfurt.

The third offer from barca has been given to bayern and the issue in the offer is in addition to 40 million euros, lewandowski himself is willing if the bonuses he gets when playing at barca can be given to bayern (a little strange, but i applaud the persuasion from barca to make lewandowski like this)

the decision is 12 july later (when barca pre-season training starts)
it's not strange because the player really wants to play for Barcelona, especially now that Bayern has the arrival of Sadio Mane, who is very likely to be made you on the front lines of Bayern to replace Lewandowski.
I think this move will be realized, it is impossible for Bayern to hold Lewandowski who wants to leave even though he only has 1 season left on his contract with Bayern, otherwise they will lose Lewandowski next season for free.
Apart from Lewandowski wanting to play at another club, in this case Barcelona it seems that there is something that makes him hot at Bayern Munich at least until his contact ends. I don't know for sure if my opinion is right or wrong, but if you look at Lewandowski's high desire to leave, it looks like what I said was true.

It is obviously that Bayern is playing poker. They want as much as possible for the sale of Lewandowski and that is why it is taking so long. If the deal does not go through, Bayern will have a Lewandowski for a year who will play but no longer playing wholeheartedly for FC Bayern München.

bundesliga promoted club werder bremen has signed Jens Stage from fc copenhagen. the one-time danish international turned professional at aarhus gf and moved to fc copenhagen in 2019.
at both clubs, JS collected a total of 206 games, scoring 32 goals. the transfer fee is said to be €6 million - welcome at the weser Cool
This is a good thing of course for Bremen because Jens Stage is a versatile player who can be stored anywhere because as far as I know he can play at fullback, midfielder, winger and sometimes I even see him in the attack line.
Obviously this is a pretty good advantage considering this is another promotion season for them so they have to optimize next season to stay in the top tier of the Bundesliga.

I have not yet heard anything about Jens Stage. But if he can really be used in so many positions it is a good transfer. Players who can play universally always make it difficult for the opponent when the formation of the team suddenly changes. It takes some time to adjust to that.
