As I said, the bookmakers' estimates turned out to be more accurate and those who thought that Hertha was a big favorite in this pair were wrong. Now, after winning away, we can say with almost 100% certainty that in the return game, Hamburg will control the situation and achieve the desired result.

They have seen something is off with Hertha, and I think with that number of injuries and their number 1 striker having a bad situation of getting suspended, that is why I have seen a high possibility of a Hamburg win, but knowing Hertha is on the 1st division and Hamburger was only in the 2nd division, is an understatement, that Hertha is on the advantage, and seeing Hamburg best goaler Robert Glatzel having 22 goals, this season and Sonny Kittel has 9 goals, compared to Hertha's Stevan Jovetic that is currently not working pretty well, I really think next game will still be a win for the Hamburger SV,

Yes, I agree. One more goal does not mean anything. Hertha has its back to the wall and will give everything in the second leg. They have nothing to lose and have to score goals. That is why it will not be an easy game for Hamburger SV. I also think we will see a lot of fouls. Last year many also thought that Kiel would win the second leg. If I remember correctly they were much better than Köln in the first leg. So everything is still open at Monday.

Every team can make a win, in the 2nd Bundesliga that is why that division is very competitive in every 1 game, teams are shifting position every game, that is how competitive the 2nd Bundesliga is, well, at first I really thought that Holstein Kiel will be a formidable team because last season they manage to get up on the standings, but Jahn Regensburg was for the mean time is really formidable in winning it,

Any ideas for tomorrow's German Cup final? BTTS?

Freiburg - Leipzig

3,65 - 3,45 - 2,01

When i looking back from the last weekend and how both teams played , i guess there will be a draw and then it comes to a penalty.
But its also a Final and nobody can say what will happen there as it has its one rules.
My favorite for the game tomorrow is Leipzig as they deserve it , so my guess is a 2 : 1 win Leipzig.

To me the sacking of Marco Rose is not surprising, although Dortmund this season can be in second place better than the previous season.
But Dortmund's journey this season has been unsatisfactory. Because in the Bundesliga Dortmund lost too many points to be unable to catch up
with Bayern's points. Meanwhile, Dortmund's performance in the Champions League this season is also very disappointing to be eliminated
in the group phase. After that, playing in the Europa League was the same as Dortmund's performance was very bad, until Dortmund can be
eliminated by Rangers. So it's very natural that Dortmund management finally fired Marco Rose, hopefully Dortmund can get a more qualified
coach and can make Dortmund perform better next season.
Dormund performance was indeed terrible. With their squad strength, I think they were capable of at least winning the Europa League trophy. Marco Rose wasn't productive to the team. I was expecting them to compete with Munich this season. But, unfortunately they ended up without any title. Nevertheless, Dormund management will have to signed a well experienced Coach, and also strengthen their squad with some talented players. Since,  they are rumor circulating that Haaland will be leaving the team.

It looks like Dortmund will re-appoint Edin Terzic as a replacement for Marco Rose who has just been sacked, after disappointing results from
Dortmund this season. Because Edin Terzic is considered very familiar with the character of Dortmund players, because initially Edin Terzic
was an assistant coach to Lucien Favre. Then after Dortmund fired Favre at the end of 2020, then Edin Terzic was appointed as interim coach
by the Dortmund management. Surprisingly Edin Terzic could bring Dortmund to win the DFB Pokal trophy in the 2020/2021 season.
Finally, Dortmund management decided Terzic as the club's technical director, and made Marco Rose the main coach in the 2021/2022 season.
It seems that Dortmund's management decision was wrong, because Marco Rose failed to give the best for Dortmund. Not one title won by Dortmund
in the 2021/2022 season, so it's only natural that Dortmund's management reappointed Edin Terzic as Dortmund coach to replace Marco Rose.
But I don't know if Terzic will be made the main coach or the interim coach like before.

Then I agree with you, that Dortmund need to buy some new players to strengthen the Dortmund squad for next season, especially at the end of
this season Dortmund lost their goal machine Erling Haaland. But Dortmund have so far managed to get Niklas Sule and Karim Adeyemi, but it would
be even better if Dortmund could bring in more new players to compete with Bayern next season.

It's true in the second leg later it's clear for sure the favorites will change in betting now especially after seeing this match.
and I feel pretty sure the odds that will be given will be very much different when compared to the Odds in the first leg yesterday.

but on the other hand it is quite difficult for Hertha even though they were in a prestigious league before but indeed they are now quite down

At the moment the quotes are as follows:

Bundesliga 2021/22 Relegation/Promotion Playoff - Winner 1,40 - 2,70

Hertha is a nice team, but Hamburg is also good - after all, they are much more titled both in Germany and on the European scene.

and the next coach to be sacked in the bundesliga has been completed. this time, it has hit Mraco Rose at borussia dortmund Shocked
the cooperation ends again after just one year. MR had come from borussia mönchengladbach in the summer of 2021 for a transfer fee of €5 million and was given a contract until 2024.

sky sport is now reporting that Edin Terzic will be the new coach. is this true?
Terzic was already coach in Dortmund. from December 2020 to June 2021 he coached the Dortmund team.
but..........is edin Terzic the right man for this team? i am curious about the news in the next few days.

Hamburg proved me right by a solid performance against Hertha Berlin yesterday. They deserved to win this game by 1-0. Hertha Berlin are still having a hard time and it looks like this will cost them the Bundesliga. Hamburg deserve much more than them to promote here. They are an ex-Bundesliga team and they might come back really stronger than before. Schalke and Bremen are also back in the Bundesliga so I hope that some of them can add some more excitement to the league.

The first leg ended with Hamburg winning by a narrow score.
Actually, I'm not too weird about this, considering that in terms of confidence, it's clear that Hamburg is superior and they managed to win with a single goal from Ludovit Reis.
Very good indeed this match even though there are many people who support Hertha but my bets won impressively in this match

Series of bad results achieved by Dortmund this season makes Lucien Favre have to lose his position as manager at Dortmund next season. Club has announced that it will not continue its cooperation next season and has chosen to sack Lucien Favren. Even though Dortmund was able to finish in second place, I don't think it's the best achievement considering the bad results this season and far adrift of points with Bayern Munich who won successive titles.
The problem is that they were doing great, they finished second and that should be a good result for them. If you were expecting them to become champions this year then you didn't follow Bundesliga close enough. Bayern already got the young talented manager which gave them good results, who are they going to get instead of Favre?

Dortmund played well enough, and he took the team to second and that would be the best position you could get from a team when you are not Bayern in Bundesliga. I am sad to see him go, but at the same time he could be getting to a team that would know how good he is and appreciate him much better in the long run.

lol what are you talking about? is this a flashback to 2 years ago.

You have to search the news properly even you don't know who the current Dortmund coach is for this season.
Even though Dortmund can't catch up at this time, Rose's current performance is good and the higher-ups are quite happy with his performance. there's no such thing as sacking the coach here

According to the statistics i think both of teams playing well and the strength looks equal but indeed Hamburg player can utilize the weakness of Herta Berlin defense and Reis has just made high class goal because he saw the goalkeeper already out of position and utilize the mistakes and after this result Hamburg is one more step return to Bundesliga because 1-0 at Herta Berlin home is good achievement and second leg will be more comfort for them because playing at their home ground Hamburg only need at least draw result

Since Hamburger won the first leg and the match was an away match. So now Humberger SV seems to be the favorite to qualify for Bundesliga. In the first leg, Hamburg's made 11 shots and Hertha made only 6. Hamburger's performance was somewhat better than Hertha's. And since Hamburger won the first leg, the second leg will be completely stress-free. Players are more likely to win if they can play stress-free.

Hamburg indeed has a good chance to win the relegation duel against Hertha. But they should be cautious, we had a similar situation last year, where Cologne lost the first game against Kiel 0-1 and cam back in the 2nd leg with a 5-1. Hertha didn't have a good day yesterday, but I think the 2nd leg will be a completely different game. I am rooting for Hamburg though, it is the bigger name Wink

Yea, I also kind of expected it. Already during the season there were rumors in the press. It's probably better they do it now than in the middle of next season when they have a weak phase, I guess the management also thought in that way. I wonder who they will get now. Dortmund has many problems, the coach is not the only one and potentially also not the biggest one... Dortmund want to compete with Bayern, but they are not on the same level, so a future disappointment is almost always coming their way.

I think the sacking of Marco Rose by Dortmund is quite surprising, because so far we have not found any news that Marco Rose future at Dortmund is in jeopardy, it is true that Dortmund have not been satisfactory this season and in fact they are quite far behind from Munich throughout the season, however I don't think it's entirely Marco Rose's fault because the dormund squad this season isn't very capable, besides that Marco Rose only has one season and I think it's a fairly short time for a coach to develop a squad according to his coaching method.

I should note that bookmaker quotes say that Hamburg is at least not weaker. Hertha have slightly better chances only because the first game will be at home for them. At the moment the quotes are as follows:

2,32 - 3,10 - 2,90

If Hamburg achieve at least a draw today, they will be clear favorites in the return game.
