Big points today for Wolfsburg against Mainz to keep into the league , but i guess they should save already.
Also a nice hat trick from Max Kruse today and there was a few more chances to score more.
Even i lost my bet on this match i am glad that they managed to win , they should be more often playing like this.

In theory, we should expect an interesting and hard-fought match, because undoubtedly Bayern Munich would like to solve all the issues and formalize the championship in front of its fans in a match with its main competitor and pursuer. On the other hand, it is for this reason that Borussia Dortmund should make every effort to somehow delay the triumph and spoil the mood of its competitors. Wolfsburg - Mainz game was really surprising to me as well. I just didn't even think for once like Wolfsburg would win this game comfortably. I was expecting to watch a very close game which was the opposite of this result. After being shown that red card, Mainz were like they gave up on the game already. And Wolfsburg had maybe their best game of the season. Defeating their competitor like 5-0 should be more than enough to boost their morale and self-confidence at the same time.

Yes lot of surprises in the bundesliga i probably hate it since i am a gambler, that red card basicaly ended the game fast conceiding a goal and a red card in the first 25 minutes isn't something you could recover from easily despite that mainz team played a really good second half with this result both teams are safe from relegation.

Is quite obvious that Bayern Munich will be lifting their Bundesliga title this season. They are topping their rivalry, Borrusia Dortmund with 10 points difference. Perhaps the two tough team in Bundesliga will be meeting again on Saturday at that Allianz arena. The game will determine the fate of Borrusia Dortmund against closit the gap between Bayern Munich and them. There would be enough actions in the game, although I trust Julian Nagelsmann, he won't hold back in the game. Bayern Frontlines are goal machineries, in a team where we have player like Robert Lewandowski, Muller and Coman. However, Bayern squad might be stronger, but Dormund won't easily lose in this season.

The Bundesliga is always full of surprises.    For the Wolfsburg - Mainz game, I thought that Mainz would fight back really strongly but this result was completely unexpected. Wolfsburg completely destroyed them by 5-0 home. Mainz got a red card also and this made things even more difficult for them. Wolfsburg scored five goals in the first half already and demolished them. This was an important win for Wolfsburg in terms of clinging to the Bundesliga. Now they seem to be in a safer position.

Wolfsburg game was really beyond our expectations, even though they played at home but I think very few of us favored Wolfsburg to win against Mainz today, but Wolfsburg who this season is in the lower rankings, was able to dominate the game by scoring fast goals in the 8rd minutes of the first half, I thought after conceding the first goal Mainz would be able to bounce back but instead they got worse because they had to play with 10 players in the 23rd minute due to a red card that was received by Niklas Taeuer, losing Taeuer really made the Mainz game even more chaotic and had to accept quite a defeat already with 5-0, wolfsburg's win today made them further away from the relegation zone and now they are in 11th place in the bundesliga standings with 37 points .

I am still hesitating. The odds are too good to be true! Bookies are kind of pretty sure about Bayern victory. Then I remember how odds of Real Madrid once jumped to +20 when they were 2 goals behind before winning with 3 goals then I said damn!

Wolfsburg destroyed Mainz with 5 goals to 0! Is that the beginning of a weird results this weekend?

Wolfsburg really displayed their slick game against Maiz, they really troubled the Maiz defense by scoring 5 goals in the first half. Wolfsburg got a big chance after Tauer was given a red card in the 23rd minute, after Mainz played 10 players, they were really inconsistent and lost control.  field star became the property of kruse by recording a hat trick in the competition.

This is a game of shock because no one would believe Wolfsburg would score Mainz this number goals. Wolfsburg played and incredible game today.  The victory of Wolfsburg is beyond luck , Wolfsburg performance today is one of the best game I have watch from Wolfsburg for a longtime now, this can be a sign that Wolfsburg is coming out strong to face any team.

Maybe the bookies see that Bayern's focus is now only on making Bundesliga records considering that now they are the only thing they can get this season because they were eliminated in the UCL.
But indeed 7.0 is really outrageous and I hope Dortmund win now because regardless 7.0 is really very tempting

True, it was something that was unexpected beforehand that Mainz would lose by a landslide. 5 goals in the first half totally destroyed them, although they managed to keep from scoring again, but they were also unable to score at least to reduce the score. I say that their card that Tauer got was the turning point for their big loss. Yes, after their card, there were many goals against Mainz.

Really surpising result from Wolfsburg after they got destroyed by Dortmund. I didnt expect honestly 5-0 win from Wolfsburg and even on half time. Also wierd that with a player more they didnt score more goals but this could have ended much more worst for Koln

this was a very humiliating game for Mainz, I was watching the game, when the first goal came in I said: " it was only one goal, they can still recover.... " it didn't take many minutes the second goal came in, and then came the third goal, and then came the fourth, honestly I thought: " how many goals are these guys going to concede today? " then came the fifth goal. what a humiliating game. I wonder how the Mainz coach must be dealing with this result? he was very angry with that penalty kicking the player from Mainz. I think that if there hadn't been the penalty and expulsion of the Mainz player, the result of the game would have been different. finally congratulations to Wolfsburg for the victory, they deserve it because they played well.

what's up? Dortmund are a strong team and they are in second position, why are they being underestimated like that?

5-0 at halftime is also an exceptional result. They lost against Dortmund without a chance, but Dortmund is also potentially still a strong team. They have had a slightly less season in the league, and they were also eliminated early in the Champions League, but that was no damage somewhere. Winning 5-0 at home is good for confidence, they will try to give the season a little shine by winning a few times now. Wolfsburg has also fallen a bit in recent years, I can remember that they often competed at the top in the past and could still make it difficult for clubs like Bayern.

There is no doubt today Wolfsburg done amazing job and completely outclass ten men Mainz first half end with score of 5 - 0, but good thing happen in second half as Mainz done four changes and this change some momentum of Wolfsburg, and they are not able to do any goal in second half with very tight defence from Mainz.

Mostly people's feeling they were pissed off just because of having the worst result against Dortmund which ends in 1 - 6 and with today result they end their frustration, but surely they need this motivation as their complete season were ruined, and they are currently down in league table even having some good and quality players is misery for them hopefully now they will be done some better things in next season, and we will be able to have better results from them.

Well something like this is something any team would need to look out for Leipzig is getting good and in no time maybe it can become champion next season, Bayern Munich needs to make a plan in getting Robert Lewandowski to sign, or get a new top striker for the team because this team is next in line for the next season in my opinion.
