Wolfsburg are still pissed off since the last matchday and the 1:6 defeat against Dortmund and now they are playing it out. The anger and frustration of the last week. There was also 5:0 at half-time, but without a red card. Wolfsburg can't win anything this season, so they can already plan for next season.
Wolfsburg- Mainz game is on atm and am surprised to see that Mainz have failed to get a single goal in this 3nil beating they are receiving, in spite of having a goal scoring record and btw Mainz is equally in a better position than Wolfsburg which makes me wonder if the away game has a negative impact on their game, anyway game is not over they might just force a goal any time soon.
the second half has been running for almost half but mainz can't also make 1 goal. besides that mainz also played with 10 players (Tauer was shown a red card) so it was very difficult to block attacks from Wolfsburg. 5-0 score will definitely end until the end of the match. 
Wolfsburg's 5 first-half goals were beyond expectation. Losing one player was really felt for Mainz 05, they easily conceded from an attack created by Wolfsburg. Indeed before this match started I was favoring Wolfsburg to win, but I didn't expect that there would be so many goals in the first half. In the second half it looks like there will be another goal created by Wolfsburg.
Looks like my friday prediction for today Wolfsburg against Mainz will be fail again , damn .

This week might be a good chance for Leipzig to close the gap up with Dortmund more in the standings. Leipzig are taking on Union Berlin on the same day with the Bayern Munich - Dortmund game. And they are going to play before this game too. I believe that Leipzig can beat them up in this game as well. Because they newly played against Union Berlin in the DFB Pokal semi finals. And Leipzig eliminated them by winning 2-1. They have the psychological dominance over them and they should be able to make use of it here as well.
^ Well, they can try to close the gap with Dortmund. But I highly doubt that they will be able to actually compete for the second place.
Because the point difference is quite high and I don't really expect them to get past Dortmund this season.
And I also expect RB Leipzig to win against Union Berlin. really should be an easy match for them. and that should lessen the points difference between them and Dortmund.
I agree on that. They would just try their best to do that. But they would care about securing the third spot above all else of course. I believe that they deserve this spot more than Leverkusen and Freiburg. As long as they make an effort like they did for many weeks, it is not a big deal for them to secure it. Leverkusen and Freiburg would fight for the fourth spot rather than the third actually. And it is hard to make an exact prediction about which one of them would make it there at the end of the season too. My favourite side for it is Leverkusen.

Yes I'm not saying it's impossible, but looking at it now yes it is. Let's say Dortmund can wipe out the rest of their game with a win. But whether Bayern Munich will drop a lot of points in their remaining games, I don't think that will happen.
Mathematically, it is definitely possible that Dortmund can achieve this (lets say) miracle.I hope it happens, but if you look at the reality, its not going to happen i think.

9 points difference so in order to Dortmund to catch on to them Bayern has to lose at least three games and Dortmund has to win three games. Honestly that's possible but we all know the odds of that
Tomorrow game, Dortmund might have chance. They had many injured players but still managed to put over a dominant display over Wolfsburg so if they play like that , then I think they might have a shot at winning or at least draw in tomorrow's fixture but obviously that wouldn't be an easy task.
Bayern Munich - Dortmund game is one day away from us now. der Klassiker has always been amazing so far. And I hope to see another amazing game between these teams in Allianz Arena. Maybe it is already easy to predict that Bayern Munich would defeat Dortmund here. But the most important thing for me to see goals from both teams in this. It makes the game fun without looking at which team won. I hope Haaland and Lewandowski both play well too. They make the game even more exciting when they play decently.

And they are still feeling the pressure of the possibility of relegating from the Bundesliga now. They are only six points above the relegation area now. As there are still four weeks to go, Wolfsburg need to continue winning to keep themselves safe. Mainz are a really tough competitor for them. But Mainz are the second worst away team of this season so far also. They won only twice in fifteen away games. This might be a chance for Wolfsburg to win.
It's true that these two teams actually have a bad record this season, but in this match I favored Wolfsburg as the winner at the end. It will be more difficult for Wolfsburg to achieve that, but I have confidence that they will be able to win in front of their fans now. I predict they will win by a narrow score.I agree that the two teams are going through a bad moment and definitely the two teams have nothing to conquer this season, but regarding the game itself, I think that Mainz, despite being poorly in the last games, they can win today, I don't see being a game with many goals, but I believe that Mainz can win the game, Wolfsburg conceded a lot of goals in the last game, it was a real humiliation and honestly I didn't see dortmund making a lot of effort to score those 6 goals and it seems to me that in game play they may have the same defensive problem which would make Mainz manage to score a goal and win the game. in any case it will be a game that i will watch for a few minutes

they really deserve this third place, but i hope that both they and dortmund start to work harder so that in the next season they fight to be in the first place, and take this invincibility from bayern, this is already boring every season the person already knows who will be the champion, we just watch the games to know who will be the second and third place. I am waiting for the match between Leipzig and Union Berlin. Hopefully it will be a competitive and enjoyable match. Leipzig's goal is to strengthen their position in the points table. They want to finish the season in third place. On the other hand, Union Berlin is still trying to rise to the top of the points table and qualify for the Champions League. Winning today's match, will not change the position of Union Berlin in the points table. However, it will be easier for them to qualify for the Champions League.
Did you see the DFB-Pokal match yesterday between Leipzig and Union Berlin, I think this match will be the same as that match, Leipzig, seems pretty much a different team right now and I think that game Leipzig is in the advantage if you look at the game's stats from shots on target, ball possession, passes, pass accuracy all advantage was for the Leipzig if you compare that and with their recent match back on January 21, 2021, RB Leipzig still won by 1 - 0 it was a close game but if we look on the game stats Leipzig still in an advantage, so I think this is going to be a great game but apparently, Leipzig still going to win this. I saw Leipzig's match against Union Berlin of DFB Pokal. Leipzig ball possessed 69%. They have more ball possession but less attack. But each attack was quite planned. I would say Leipzig controlled the whole match. Union Berlin may not be the weakest team. But their performance against a strong team is not satisfactory. And so it looks like Leipzig will win the next match against Union Berlin.
For today match between Wolfsburg vs Mainz 05 i think away team is the favourite because in the first met Mainz already win with big score 3-0 and Wolfsburg also not in the good shape after defeated by Dortmund 6-1 last week so Mainz probably will get 3 points from this match and although Mainz was failed reach to European zone this season but they want to improved their position in standings league so this could be good opportunity for them
I have a hard time picking a favorite in the match of Wolfsburg vs. Mainz today. I mean looking at the table it is pretty obvious that Mainz was the better team so far in this season but i still think that Wolfsburg has the better individual players. I also think that Mainz is now pretty much playing for fun in the last 4 matchdays because they have enough points already to be safe from being relegated down to the second league but they also have no chacne anymore to reach a place that qualifies for an european cup.
