After seeing the results of the past week, we can clearly and comfortably say that Dortmund have lost their chance if we look at it from a sensible point of view. The point difference between Dortmund and Bayern Munich is nine now. But this is not the only reason that I think in this way obviously. It is because Dortmund's performance against Leipzig was horrible indeed. That 1-4 loss in Signal Iduna Park told me and many people a lot of things about them. They are a desperate team now.

I am not so sure that Lewa would be a great striker for 4 more years. Plus they just recently got aubameyang and he is young enough to still be considered for the next seasons, if you get lewa, then how do you play them at the same time? That would be a big problem for them.

I believe that he will stay in Bayern until he retires and I want to believe that. Just because I want to believe he will stay, doesn't mean he will, but as a non-German who doesn't support any team (in fact would rather see a new champion finally) lewa is just too much connected with Bayern in my mind, not even dortmund would make sense to me, he should play like another 4 seasons or whatever he wants to and then retire there.

Borussia Dortmund have to be alert now, after their defeat in this week's match they are now closer to Leverkusen by just 6 points, as Leverkusen managed to get a win in the match against Hertha Berlin.
If Borussia Dortmund can't get up, it's very likely that in 3 games they will be replaced by Leverkusen.
Dormund lost their game against Leipzig, and probably failed to increase their points. They needed the 3 points to   reduce their points behind Bayern Munich. But, after losing against Leipzig, Dormund are now 6 points behind Leipzig, and need to improve their performance. However, they also have to play more carefully in their games, to enable them maintain their current position. Because they are finding it hard to resist their opponents.

Quite painful defeat for dortmund, despite appearing dominant in the match but leipzig succeeded in slaughtering dortmund mercilessly, like it or not dortmund is now out of the way of the championship competition, especially since munchen managed to win in week 28 while keeping them away from dortmund with 9 points , there is no other choice for dortmund at this time other than securing the second position from the pursuit of leverkusen for the prestige of a big team in the bundesliga, because in my opinion even if they are in third position they will also qualify for the champions league next season but for the sake of pride of course they will try to look no worse the season by getting second.
Agree here this was painful defeat and now with this lose they are out of title race for this season and if Haaland is going to leave this club then surely we are going to have some good decline in their performance for next season as well because currently we have Leipzig and Leverkusen both are on better way for next season and can give some good competition to Dortmund even these both still need some better quality and more skilled players for having some good competition against Bayern Munich which is now going to win tenth title in a row which is amazing performance from them.

In long run Dortmund never been an ideal club for having good to win title because their management mostly love to have their profit from selling and buying new attractive players instead of having some good chance for win titles and more other trophies.

If Borussia Dortmund can't get up, it's very likely that in 3 games they will be replaced by Leverkusen.

Two losses and a draw in three consecutive games of Borussia Dortmund, with three consecutive wins in a row Bayern Leverkusen creates the worst-case scenario that could have happened for Dortmund. It is theoretically possible, but in my opinion, it will not happen in practice.

After Dortmund's poor result against Leipzig, in the end, not only do many people think that it is impossible for Dortmund to catch up
with Bayern's points. But many people also predict that Dortmund will be replaced by Leverkusen, who are only 6 points behind Dortmund.
Moreover, Leverkusen's performance in the last 5 matches has indeed proven to be much better than Dortmund, so it is very possible at
the end of this season Leverkusen move up to second place in the Bundesliga by replacing Dortmund. Although as you say it's theoretically
very possible, but in practice it is not that easy for Leverkusen to shift Dortmund's position. Because I believe Dortmund won't let that
happen either. The next opponent Dortmund will face is Stuttgart, which is a weak team, so this is Dortmund's chance to recover.
So it's not that easy for Leverkusen to catch up with Dortmund's points. It's possible that Leverkusen also lose points in the next game.

It turns out that Bayern Munich played 20 seconds with 12 men instead of 11 men. A double substitution made by Bayern Munich, only Coleman remained in the field as the referee resumed play. According to the rules, the team in question has then lost the match 2-0. The substitution had no blood whatsoever, because Bayern won 4-1. But officially it was not allowed, so Freiburg has now filed an appeal. If awarded, Freiburg will be awarded a regular 2-0 win. That's going to be quite a tug-of-war.

It will be more important and interesting how next season will go with the championship. I see no reason to believe that teams like Dortmund or RB Leipzig could get any closer to Bayern Munich. And in addition, Haaland is also going to leave Dortmund, and there is no good alternative. Bayern will probably become champions quite easily in the coming years. This season it is only important to see who can seize the 2nd place.
As long as the club's performance in the Bundesliga is still like it is now, Bayern will continue to be champions and this hegemony will continue.
But it's very difficult to face bayern btw, they are currently in a solid period apart from that they are also very stable both in terms of players, management and even financially so I think this is quite natural they can maintain their gear even almost a decade now

Even without Robert Lewandowski on their Team Bayern Munich still got a solid team, but they are outperforming when they are in the lead, but if Bayern Munich will not get Lewandowski in the next season, maybe other club will have a fighting chance, but the chance for Lewandowski leaving the club for now it is likely at 70%, Xavi is taking the Barcelona Project to the next level and giving the polish striker a 4 years contract likely the polish star is surely be leaving Bayern Munich, and his relationship with Bayern is likely deteriorating as day goes by.

Well this may have to be seen from the final conclusion after the season is over but I'm not too sure about Barcelona, I don't know what motivation they want at the moment because they want to sign Lewa. He is indeed quite good even though he is not too young but there are a lot of strikers now in my opinion so it's still not clear why they always insist on getting strikers when they have a lot of strikers.
There is still hope for Lewa to stay and I still want to see him at Bayern next season

Dortmund is not playing well at all this season and if Leverkusen manages to keep their current level for the last 6 matchdays then it is very much possible that Leverkusen will overtake Dortmund for the second place. Even if that happens though i don't really think that this would be to bad for Dortmund as it would not really have any consequence for them. The German Bundesliga is one of the 4 big leagues in Europe and therefore every club from position 1 to 4 on the Bundesliga table will directly qualify for the group stage of the Champions League. Dortmund has a 12-point lead on fifth place, that is the most important thing in my opinion.

With Dortmund now unlikely to win the title, their goal now will be to qualify for the Champions League. And they are 12 points ahead of Freiburg who is in fifth place in the table. Qualifying for the Champions League will not be difficult. But, Dortmund is likely to lose their second place at the table if they are not able to resolve their internal issues. Because Leipzig and Leverkusen now perform better than Dortmund.
with only finishing in the top 3 is a pretty good fight from dortmund, having a chance to play in the UCL is the dream of many teams including dortmund. only 5 matches left, but if it turns out that dortmund lose in the next 5 matches then their ticket to the UCL will be lost and dortmund's opponent in the next match is bayern (match 31).

Their position is solid for Champions League spot in next season. They are only too far from Bayern and they are almost unable to catch Bayern.

However, they have to play well to achieve both objectives: Protect theit second position or at least don't fall out of top 3. Try to run with Bayern with hope that they can catch abd beat Bayern in season ending.

The second position is important for Dortmund. It brings more income. It brings more confidence for the next season. It will be a secured ticket for Champions League. They won't have to play pre-qualification matches that contain risk of failure.

I really like Leipzig, I think it is a trap that they are keeping lost in the start of the Bundesliga just to prepare in getting backup so that other teams will not be aware of their advantage, this is a surprise comeback for the Leipzig and I think they can done this again in the next season, and if Lewandowski will likely to leave Bayern Munich and Erling Haaland will leave Dortmund as well I am really expecting great potential for Leipzig, to climb the top next season.

I don't think that Dortmund is in any danger to lose their second place in the table. They are 6 points ahead of Leverkusen and 9 points ahead of Leipzig with only 6 games left to play. Ok, Dortmund didn't perform so well the last weeks, but they are strong enough to maintain their lead against the other two teams. (Also Leverkusen and Leipzig still will face each other in a couple of weeks, taking their points)

That would likely to happen Dortmund will not give away the 2nd position, likely if they can not make a win they would rather make the game a Draw, just to get points so yes Leverkusen and Leipzig will have a hard time gaining the 2nd spot, but for me maybe if Leipzig will keep the winning streak their might be a chance in gaining the 3rd position,

I think if their target is just to qualify for the Champions League it won't be too difficult for them, because they are quite far from the zone for Champions League tickets.
But for now they just have to focus on their position, as they are under pressure following the defeat they suffered in their last game.

Mönchengladbach and Wolfsburg both done terrible performance in this season with their performance now I am having feeling that any good team can go like crap in next season without any solid reason so now for next season most chances Bayern Munch is going to dominant again with no team have any solid player or performer for giving them challenge as Haaland is also going to leave in next season just Leverkusen and Leipzig both teams will be stayed at top for some resistance otherwise it is clearly Bayern dominance for next few years as now they are going to have tenth title in a row which is completely showing as many saying it's not Bundesliga it is Bayernliga.

Now in next week we have some weak teams going to face these two, so hopefully these teams will survive and have some chance of better performance.
Mönchengladbach can't maintain the winning tonight even playing at home, they got an unexpected game in a draw. Both with Wolfsburg still struggling in the middle of the table even if not careful that possible degradation zone will be landing to them. Wolfsburg even has 3 losses in a row, that have 5 points different from Herta Berlin on degradation zone. with 10 matches left both will have to calculate again the strategy they have if still continue in the main league.

Monchengladbach performance this season have been really terrible. After they ended last season at the 8th place on the standings. I was expecting to see them preform more better this season, and be among the top 5 on the standings. But, it seems they won't even be able to end this season at the top 10. Is unfortunate that Monchengladbach are too weak to win matches.
They failed to beat their opponent today. Mainz isn't a strong team, Monchengladbach could have handle them. But they settled for a draw, and shared points.
