The Cologne players built a defense that was good enough to make it difficult for the Dortmoud striker to attack Cologne, early in the match thanks to a Marius Wolf goal that put Dortmound temporarily ahead but after that their Cologne players managed to make it 1-1 Thanks to Sebastian Andersson's goal, Erling's second half Haaland had several good chances but unfortunately none of these opportunities were able to produce a goal, so both teams had to play in a draw until the game was over.
Coming out with a draw against Cologne will certainly make it difficult for the Dortmound side to catch up to the title race with Bayern Munich as they currently only have 7 games left.

An unwanted result came to Borussia Dortmund this time, yes they had to settle for sharing points with Koln which caused the points gap to widen again from leaders Bayern Munich. Looks like Koln is too tough in this match for them to beat. Actually they were able to take the lead in the first 10 minutes of the match. But Cologne was able to equalize 10 minutes before half-time.

It's like Borussia Dortmund is trying not to be champions.  I guess Bayern would not experience such losses in another year.  Dortmund should have made good use of this opportunity.  However, they cannot do this every time.  They are still losing easy points so that this year's champion does not change.  Of course, Haaland's ineffectiveness also contributed to the loss of points.

In the previous two games Haaland came on as a substitute and Dortmund managed to win even though Haaland did not score a goal.
Meanwhile, when facing Koln Haaland was already played as a starter eleven, but Haaland appeared disappointing, Haaland not only failed
to score a goal but Haaland also failed to help Dortmund win. Maybe because he's just recovered from injury, Haaland hasn't found his best
form yet. But Dortmund failed to win against Koln, making Dortmund's chances of becoming champions even smaller. Because after all
the Bundesliga is only 7 rounds away, so Dortmund doesn't just have to win all the remaining matches. But Dortmund should also expect
Bayern to experience at least 3 defeats in the remaining 7 Bundesliga matches. Which with Bayern's performance which is quite consistent,
it is almost impossible to expect Bayern to lose up to 3 matches. So for me Bayern is 99% sure to win the Bundesliga trophy this season.

RB Leipzig didn't got the best results, frankFurt made them to share points after a tough and frustrating game for Leipzig. It's clear that Frankfurt wanted a draw because of their defensive strategy they anticipated in the game and failed to even record a one goal attempt, RB Leipzig needed this points to be on the safer side of the league, because there are more 4 teams that are battling for both top 4th and 5th position on the table.

FC Koln VS Borussia Dortmund GOAL 1 - 1 - DRAW

It seems that Erling Haaland Struggles in making a goal, but this time Marius Wolf have gained his first goal, but Sebastian Andersson have answered with a tie breaker game and if we look at the game stats, Koln really has the advantage the entire game, but this game is really crucial for Dortmund they really needed a win so badly, but again Erling Haaland maybe it's in his usual state, maybe because of his recent injury,


I am not surprise to Leipzig improvement; they are once in the 2nd spot of the Bundesliga last season, there should be something going on with their players that they might fix first, but with that kind of improvement with their performance, we can say that there are an inside quality regarding Leipzig's players.

I as well have expected Dortmund to win against Frankfurt but regarding Erling Haaland performance, I think he is not yet fully recovered regarding his injuries, but let's just wait for him to be in his top shape,


It is more interesting alright and with the recent 2 draws of Bayern Munich there are a lot of possibilities, that the 2nd to 3rd team will surely rise to the top but it will surely depend on what they will do regarding if they can win or not, well it is up to Leipzig, Leverkusen or Dortmund if they can make a change in pace on making a win.

Despite being in the Haaland squad, Dortmund's performance has not improved. Haaland's performance against Koln was disappointing. Koln is not a weak team. So Haaland's cooperation was definitely needed to win this match. But his performance was not good. Even his performance against Mainz in the previous match was not good. Dortmund needed a win against Koln. They are lagging behind in the race to win the title.

I'm also surprised, there is already Haaland in the lineup, maybe because hasn't played in a long time so his shooting always deviated from the goal. The match is pretty even, Koln is quite benefited from playing at home, but Dortmund is clearly the favorite can't take advantage in front of goal. if they win, the point distance is not so far from Munchen to make the Bundesliga more interesting.

You really hoped that Borussia Dortmund would still be able to catch up with Bayern Munich in the table this season?
As you wrote, Bayern would have to play like amateurs, but in my opinion much before in order to lose the leader's position in the last matches. At this point, no one has any doubts who will end this season in the first position in the Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich is not to blame that competitors cannot take advantage of its misfires and indeed Borussia Dortmund looks like an even more unstable team than Munich, and the rest of the teams are too far behind in the standings Leipzig is having a great time this part of the season and is climbing higher and higher in the standings, but too many points were lost at the beginning of the season. For me personally, Leipzig was one of Bayern Munich's competitors before the start of the season, but what happened happened and there is no competition yet, and the current Bayern Munich, for all its instability this season, still does not seem to be the right team to miss the advantage.

Dortmund performance is unpredictible and lately they were finding difficulties winning their games especially the last two  i think this score is not shocking they were bound to lose points sooner or later congrats to bayern for another title won.

In football, some results are predefined or predetermined to go against a certain club. I don't know if the gods of soccer fixes some of the matches.  No matter how good your team or all your players will be, when it's a team bad day, it must be bad. I really thought that Dortmund will cover the gap with koln but I was surprised how the game ended in draws. After 8mins goal, Dortmund was unable to see koln net for the rest minutes. Well they should manage the second position because Bayern might not make mistakes again till the end of the season.

Oh no Dortmund. Why didn't you win?  You took away my excitement with that stupid draw. You will not be able to close the 6-point gap to Bayern Munich. Bayern would have to play like amateurs if they don't manage to hold the first place.
1 point for Köln was important to still have a small chance of reaching an international place.

It's a pretty weird season so far in the Bundesliga in my opinion, because for me Bayern Munich has shown one of the weakest overall performance in the last 10 years or so until now and still none of the other team seems to be able to take advantage of that. Borussia Dortmund is also playing a very weak season in my opinion and they have more points achieved then they deserve if you ask me and their results on the international level were also extremely disappointing. RB Leipzig had a very weak first part of the season so they are already to far away to really threaten Bayern Munich. It really looks like Bayern Munich will be the Bundesliga champion again.

really luck was not on my side, a draw made me lose the bet. I think with playing Haaland (full time) will increase Dortmund's attack power, but not really. It's a shame, even though if Dortmund manages to win then the difference between their points and Bayern will be smaller.

Match ends in a draw with score of 1 - 1 and with this result now most chances we have all end for Dortmund in title race because six points gape and just 7 matches remaining in this season is not easy for them to challenge Bayern Munich which is already back in best.

Currently, five teams in hunt for Champions League remaining two spots and with this draw most chances Cologne is still in this race for spot because all teams are equal in quality and performance can do some more good for remaining part now after break we have two very interesting matches at top, first Dortmund is going to face Leipzig and then Freiburg is going to host Bayern Munich these both matches having some good impact on league table because now any win or lost can do something big for any team.

20 minutes left in the game and it's still 1-1. At this point I wouldn't even bet on Dortmund anymore, the game is quite balanced, shots are at 6-8. Cologne even has more possession. Current quotes are at 4.5/1.8/3.3. It's gonna be a lucky punch or a draw, I certainly didn't expect Dortmund having such difficulties here, but I guess this is why they aren't any serious competition for Bayern
