Eintracht Frankfurt really played quite well against Leipzig today. They played defensively, and that was the only possible way they could draw and probably achieve a point. Leipzig performance was bad, but they could not score any goal. Despite having 7 shot on target. However, Leipzig were able to catch up with Freiburg in terms of points. And are presently above them on the standings.

While Dormund are still drawing against their opponent (Koln). The ball possession are quite balanced, and it seems the game might end in draw. But, is really an important match which Dormund have to win, in order to reduce their points behind Bayern Munich.

If Leipzig wins and Leverkusen loses then Leipzig will be ahead of Leverkusen in terms of goal difference.

And the actual competition is till the 3rd place in my opinion for them. Because Dortmund and Bayern Munich have their own competition going on in the league.

That might happen at any point. Leverkusen has 4 hard games out of 7 against Frankfurt, Hoffenheim, Freiburg and Leipzig itself. Leipzig games aren't that easy too but they improved since the beginning.

Pretty much kind of shocked at what happened to this matchup, clearly Frankfurt is no pushover even though RB Leipzig is at the advantage with all the game stats Frankfurt has defended their goal pretty much with high precision, although they are not that accurate with their offense, and Leipzig is just having a bad day, for that 7 shot on target that has missed.

It's halftime into the match and to my surprise, Dortmund is the one who has been dominated by Cologne. The score is 1:1 at the moment. I was really not expecting a performance like this from Dortmund. But after the previous two matches, I also did not expect Dortmund to dominate in this match. Dortmund did breathe the deadlock but after that, they went into the back foot and never recovered.

no wonder the referee issued 6 yellow cards and 5 of them for Frankfurt players. This result is clearly detrimental to Leipzig who should be
able to move away from the points possessed by Freiburg and Hoffenheim, but because they only drew with Frankfurt, Leipzig had the same
points as Freiburg and one point different from Hoffenheim. This means that Leipzig is not safe to be in 4th position, if Leipzig loses points again

I agree with you, it was a preparation match in Frankfurt before the game against Barcelona. Because in this match they played completely defensively. And has been able to share points. You're right Bayern was struggeling during the last matches, but the match against Union Berlin was pretty outstanding. However, a relief like this was urgently needed if they don't want to let Dortmund get close again.
