There definitely can be a surprise, Greuther Fürth has nothing to lose at their current rank playing against Bayern. But usually such surprises only last for a very small number of games for Bayern. I think the quality of the Bayern team will safely get the 3 points. Maybe not with a 6-1 but more likely with a solid 2-0.
Just checking the odds for that game, it's 1.07/13.5/34 with 1.93 more than 4.5 goals

If this would be happen we would see different statistics as we know them now for sure .
Haaland maybe in front with scored goals and Lewandowski would be have not to much ,
because mostly at Bayern Munich he gets the ball played from other players.
And thats what Dortmund missing even they have a very good Team with players they can do this also.

It will be not easy as Greuther Fürth for sure can make some surprise also.

Well, this would be very interesting indeed. But things like this only happen in a perfect world  It would already be pretty meaningful if they both would play the same amount of games

Meanwhile Bayern showed nerves again Salzburg yesterday. Luckily for them their next game is against Greuther Fürth, ranked last in the league. Bayern should be able to score an easy win against them and get their motivation up again.

Haaland, starting in 13 out of 14 league games this season, scored 16!! goals and made 5!! assists. That are 21 scorer points in 14 games with one game only coming from the bench. Any questions regarding his performance? Haha

Lewandowski started 22/22 games, scored 26 goals and made 1 assist.

Haaland plays for Dortmund, Lewandowski for Bayern. Now it would be awesome to let them switch roles for next season and compare the statistics again. Lewandowski to Dortmund, Haaland to Bayern.

For sure its only 6 points , but i guess that Bayern Munich now looking a bit closer to Dortmund and that they dont lose again.
Also i hope that the win from Dortmund last Weekend have given them some kind of boost and more intent to take there chance.
And as we have seen its possible that Bayern can lose against small clubs .

Haaland's goal statistics this season are quite good, even though he has only scored 16 goals for Dortmund and is almost 10 goals adrift of the top scorer while Lewandoski has already collected 26 goals. Haaland's injury in the middle of the season kept him out for quite a while for Dortmund but he was able to come back and perform quite well after returning from injury, it might be very difficult for Haaland to become the Bundesliga's top scorer this season considering the goal difference with Lewandoski is quite far.

Well, this is literally the first place team versus The last-placed team of the league and it is understandable to feel sorry for Greuther Fürth.

It seems like they are not going to get out of the relegation zone. Bayern Munich should absolutely dominate and run their opponent over.

Now the thing is we all are saying Bayern Munich should not underestimate their opponent and if the same Bayern Munich plays their main 11 against a team like Greuther Fürth, we are the ones who will laugh at them.

Yes, the head-to-head comparison is not in favor of Dortmund.

But I think that's understandable because Bayern Munich has a far better squad than Dortmund and Dortmund is the one who are always under pressure to win because they are the ones who can give some type of competition to Bayern Munich.

But if this thing continues for a longer period of time I think people are going to eventually lose interest in Bundesliga. I don't think such a thing has happened in any League ever again. But at the same time, it's quite understandable why this happened.

If Bayern Munich makes a good enough offer for the smaller teams they will eventually have to sell their players and Bayern Munich will develop the player into a far better one.





Currently, the difference between Bayern Munich and Dortmund is 6 points. I think Dortmund is going to have to work really hard to catch up with Bayern Munich.

But I doubt that it's going to happen because I don't see Bayern Munich losing too many matches in the future but I can sense that Dortmund is going to drop points in at least one or two matches. And the other thing is we all have been saying that Bayern Munich is dominating Bundesliga for a long time but no other club seems to take the necessary steps by which they can be stopped.

Haaland is having a bit of a trouble at the goal scoring part for the table because he played only 14 games, he is not even second behind lewandowski, he is third behind Schick which is a bad situation for him. He has better goals per game compared to Lewandowski, which shows a great potential but he has been injury ridden all his career, nothing too big and he doesn't get injured easily and only misses a few games but 14 games versus 22 of Lewa is the proof that longevity and consistency is more important than scoring at times.

I believe that if Haaland could go to a huge team, like City for example, that is where he will shine for sure, he will actually make a difference and get UCL with them and be loved by everyone.

Bayer Leverkusen might have a tough time winning the game. But, Mainz is no match to Leverkusen when it comes to squad strength. Although, we shouldn't  underestimated Mainz. Since, they will be hosting the game. Also, Mainz are improving their performance, they won against Hoffenheim last before last, and drew against Freiburg in their last match. Nevertheless, Leverkusen still remains the favorite. My prediction is on the is 1-2.

Gladbach is a weak team this season. Their performance is very bad. They are now 13th in the points table. So Dortmund should win this match easily. But Gladbach's squad is not weak. I have seen Gladbach's players score five goals against Bayern Munich. So they can't win this match if Dortmund's defender doesn't play well.

The truth is that I also think the same as you, for me Bayern is the best in the league, also as you say the matter with Lewa is something else, his technique, his way of playing and enjoying how he plays football is unique, really after Borussia Dormundt which is where Lewa was, he did very well, but I think now at Bayern Munich he is shining much brighter.

I don't know if it's because of the player's maturity or if it's because as the years go by experience makes him look more elegant, really the ideal team for him is Bayern, for me they will win the Bundesliga.

Dortmund's next game is going to be versus Gladbach. Considering Gladbach's really poor form in this season, I think that Dortmund should be winning this game too. They have improved their morale by defeating Union Berlin. Gladbach are even a worse opponent for Dortmund. But they shouldn't underrate their opponent too of course. Because Gladbach are trying to get out of their terrible condition and they wouldn't forgive a big mistake. I think that Dortmund would win this game by a decent score.

But even now they also seem to be not at the same level as Bayern Munich.

And Bayern Munich always seems to lose one or two matches against weaker opponents but they always come back really strongly. This time I think that's exactly what's going to happen again. After the loss against Bochum, I am really worried about what's going to happen with Furth.

We can feel sorry for Greuther Furth maybe but Bayern Munich shouldn't do the same. Underestimating an opponent would cost really big. Because we watched the Bochum v Bayern Munich match and saw how great Bochum performed and literally destroyed Bayern Munich by 4-2. Bayern Munich wouldn't even think of underestimating Furth after this result. They are going to be completely focused on winning this match. And there is a high probability for them to get a very comfortable win too.

There is no pity in the game of football. If you feel pity, then you have to bear the risk of loss. All teams compete to win their matches, no matter the opposing team under any circumstances.
