After today's Champions League matches, I tend to agree with the opinion of the bookmakers. Leipzig played almost on equal terms with PSG, while Borussia failed in the match with Ajax. Of course, this failure can be attributed to the early removal and that Ajax is on fire this season, but nevertheless, a home defeat in such an important match means a lot.
For bookmakers, this may mean that Borussia is in a weaker form. But for me, BVB is the favorite of this game and I am a bit surprised by the odds. In my opinion, the result of the match against Ajax for a team like Borussia will be motivating and they will play much better against Liepzig.

Haaland will miss the game and he has scored a third of all Borussia's goals this season. The rest of the indicators for Borussia and Leipzig are about the same, despite the fact that Borussia has more points. Leipzig will have no less strong motivation to win this match, they have a small number of points and if they want to get into the European cups next season, they need to fight with renewed vigor. Plus it will be a home match for them. So in my opinion, these odds are reasonable.

And the other big match of the weekend is obviously Leipzig v Dortmund. Erling Haaland is still injured and he will miss this match also. Some sources claim that he will return in late November but I've seen in Transfermarkt that his return date is unknown for now. But even in the absence of him, Dortmund continue to win. And their next opponent is Leipzig. Maybe it is going to be an away match but I still believe in Dortmund to get a win here and they will look for a chance to end the week as the leader in the standings.

I double doubt if Dortmund will end up winning here, Liepzig had a good fight with Paris saint German to secure a point.
They should end up winning this one at home, since Dortmund hit Man will be absent for this game.
This game will sure end with both sides scoring themselves.
Nkunku has being quite impressive for Liepzig.

Paris Saint-German is a different league, but maybe Dortmund will sure have a hard time with Leipzig, while Christopher Nkunku, Emil Forsberg, Dominik Szoboszlai, Yussuf Poulsen, and Andre Silva, the Leipzig team that are goal makers, even though they have 4 injured players, Leipzig sure have a higher chance in winning, but Dortmund still has Marco Reus, Jude Bellingham, and Julian Brandt that could stand as a main offense for the Leipzig, but without Erling Haaland and Raphael Guerreiro Dortmund might lose this one, but again, I am staying away with the betting because I really love to support both teams.

leipzig vs. dortmund - in this game everything is open. if E. Haaland would be able to play, i would see the bvb in a better favorite role here
Odds are better for Leipzig @2.07 comparing with Dortmund @3.35 which I find illogical! Leipzig isn't able to win as used to be, getting draw vs easier teams or even a random defeat while Dortmund results are good overall even without Haaland in the field. I had to check odds twice to verify that bookies are backing Leipzig!

I think freiburg should be able to win or at least draw in that match, so they can keep their distance and stay on the path of competition for the championship trophy with bayern munchen and also dortmund at the end of the season, honestly i hope if freiburg can surprise bayern munchen in that game and if that happens of course we will see quite a competitive title race between the 3 bundesliga teams this season.
Wow, if you seriously think that Freiburg has some chance to win the title you should put some money on it. A bet of $1 pays you $200-500 if Freiburg indeed wins the title  Cheesy
Even if they win the next game, the current season is still young and they will not keep up their strength until the end. Similar things could be seen in the last years, there are always some teams that have a few good months but can't compete with the big teams in the long run.

freiburg is still the only team in the bundesliga without a defeat - i am really curious how they will approach the game in munich, whether they will play along or rather bring a very defensive tactic to keep the game open as long as possible

freiburg is a pretty good club this season, on the other hand I like their tactics and playing patterns that still use a 4-2-3-1 formation which is because of this they are quite good in midfield dominance.
on the other hand I expect them to win the game against Bayern. because apart from making the standings on the other hand more or less destroy the hegemony of Bayern, which is still too strong for clubs in the Liga

Yes dortmund looks superior to leipzig right now, but to be honest if you want to place a bet on the match against leipzig, I personally will look at dortmund's performance first when facing ajax amsterdam later in the champions league, because I see dortmund without haalaand is not a team that has attacks dangerous and in my opinion now haalaand is a contributor to 60% of Dortmund total goals in the Bundesliga this season.

There has been a really nice rivalry among Bayern Munich (25 pts), Dortmund (24 pts) and Freiburg (22 pts). All of them won their games this week too. But it seems like we have a really interesting weekend ahead of us. Because there are two big games like:

Bayern Munich - Freiburg
Leipzig - Dortmund

For the first game, I can say that my choice would be Bayern Munich. I don't know whether Freiburg can even make big difficulties for their opponent as we saw what Bayern Munich did to Leverkusen while Leverkusen were even sharing the points with Bayern Munich at the top. Maybe they can resist in the first half but Bayern Munich would finish the job in the second half I suppose.

And when it comes to the other one, Dortmund are my favourite team. Actually, Leipzig have started to gather strength on the recent weeks after making a bad start to the season. But they still aren't a very credible team to me. Dortmund are having their best season after a long time. They continue to win even in the absence of the beast Erling Haaland. And I'm favoring them again here.
Liepzig still in a bad situation so far, lets say that  its not the right time to play against Dortmund but they don't have another choice, they have to gain at least 1 point from this match to insure their come back but their mission will not be easy at all

Yes, I agree with you, Liepzig are in a very uncomfortable situation, because to tell the truth I think that the team has not had very good luck in the bundesliga, and if we take into account that a team like Dortmund has taken a great footballing level, although the dominance by Munich is evident that it has dropped and in a disproportionate way, it must be recognized that if Liepzig does not make his final effort it is not worthy, that is what determines being in the Bundesliga.
What I like most about the Bundesliga is that the football level shown is different from what we see in the style of football and the Spanish league, now German football seems to me to be much rougher than English football, especially because of the explosiveness de Haaland, his game is too rough and effective, and this is what particularly strikes me the most about following the bundesliga.

I also think that Dortmund is the favorite to win this match. Dortmund has lost only one match in their previous 5 ones and scoring doesn't seem like a problem for them even without Haaland. Leipzig is also playing very well lately and now they are 8th in the league. I'm hoping for a competitive and close match. And about Haaland, I'm hoping that he might return within December maybe?

This is my quick details and picks for the match up on the coming Saturday, 6

Stuttgart VS Arminia
In my opinion, this does need any analysis Stuttgart will be my pick 1.84 for Stuttgart and 4.30 for Arminia

d‘accord. If Stuttgart loses this, they will soon be playing against relegation. No way, they will win.

I have looked at injury reports for both teams, and Stuttgart is pretty much on the ledge with most players that can not play, and Arminia is in good shape right now, well, I might be speaking too soon that this may not need any analysis at all because of the Standings of both teams and Arminia has a record of 0 Win, 5 Losses, 5 Draws that is why I am speaking too soon, that Stuttgart could win this, but if we look for Stuttgart's injury they have 12 Injuries, and 1 Risk of Suspension players, and 2 main of their goalers Konstantinos Mavropanos and Omar Marmoush, but they still have Marc Oliver Kempf, Hamadi Al Ghaddioui, and Wataru Endo, but even if there is a short advantage of Stuttgart of winning I will still going to pick Stuttgart there are many good players on the Arminia that are now on their departure side, or that are now not playing for Arminia, so there is a huge chance Stuttgart may win, just my opinion and just take it as a grain of salt.

Those are two really interesting games next weekend. Especially the game between Bayern and Freiburg. Both had difficulties in the last DFB-Cup games. Bayern even a little more.  Wink Cheesy But I also think Bayern will win this game.
For the other game, I also see Dortmund coming off the pitch as a winner.
The match in the DFB-Cup for me cannot be used as a benchmark because the event is not that prestigious for them, so it's no wonder that sometimes defeat for a top team in the DFB-Cup is often a surprise too. But for a match in the Bundesliga I think it's a definite result for a top team like Bayern Munich, whoever the opponent is will be beaten or the bad result is a draw but I'm not sure of that. Although currently Freiburg are in third place with a difference of 3 points, but I believe it will not be a barrier for Bayern Munich to win.

You are right about that. You cannot compare the games in the Bundesliga and the games in the DFB Cup. It is also said that the DFB-Cup has its own rules. And it has. But still, every game "does" something to the players. Some have a different mentality and can handle lost or difficult games better than others.

I agree with you. Yes, a loss against Gladbach in the DFB cup is unfortunate, but I wouldn't scale Bayern with that loss. Bayern is the better team on paper but again Bayern has been a bit unpredictable this season. Either they win or lose by 5 goals  Cheesy. But jokes aside, this will be an interesting match for us viewers to see and an important one for both the teams. As if Freiburg wins,  they might get the top spot. On the other hand, Bayern will try to stay atop the leaderboard by winning this game.
Yes, not only you who lost in the DFB-Cup match because me too and of course, any bet has risks but if we bet on the domestic cup then we can no longer expect victory on paper, meaning we can't really expect the favorite team to win. Still related to the next match between ranked first vs ranked third, Bayern Munich (1.16) against Freiburg (13.00) at least the odds are now clear that these two teams have a clear caste difference. Unlike when Bayern Munich played Dortmund, even though for example Dortmund was in third or fourth place, but still the odds gap was not that big which means, Freiburg are basically a mediocre team who are in good form at the moment.

Not your keys, not your coins!
Dortmund still managing to be doing great while Haaland is out could be one of the most promising things for them. I always say that the moment Moukoko starts to play greatly then they will no longer "need" Haaland.
Moukoko is a genius but he does not have good body like Haaland and I don't think he can play with same role as Haaland is playing for Dortmund. If Haaland leave Dortmund, they will have to find another striker. Moukoko can play at wing areas and he can bring more dangerous pressure to opponent's defense.

It is very good that they didn't build the team on Haaland, because if they had done that,by now,it would have been a loosing streak without Haaland.
They did but they changed too. They are realistic that they can not keep Haaland in their club and the days he leaves is not too far. Dortmund are good at preparation for transfers of their key players. To prepare for the transfer of Sancho, they bought Bellingham. I don't know what is the plan of Dortmund to replace Haaland but I believe they do have it.

Quote
But I  think with the way they are playing now, selling Haaland might be on their mind, after all,the team is still achieving great result without their best player.
But in the next summer, they will get less money than if they sell him a few months ago.

Of course, Haaland is better and will stay better for sure but the reality is that they could get maybe as much as 200 million for him, and Moukoko is not horrible neither so that would be a worthy transfer. Like if you are asked "Haaland starts or you get 200 million and Moukoko" you pick the money and moukoko for sure as well. This period where neither plays actually shows that they could sell Haaland and won't be horrible like they feared. Which is why I believe things will be great for them.

Dortmund must be very happy that they are doing great without the lad,so the fear of loosing him, won't seem to affect them anymore.
