I agree with you. Yes, a loss against Gladbach in the DFB cup is unfortunate, but I wouldn't scale Bayern with that loss. Bayern is the better team on paper but again Bayern has been a bit unpredictable this season. Either they win or lose by 5 goals  . But jokes aside, this will be an interesting match for us viewers to see and an important one for both the teams. As if Freiburg wins,  they might get the top spot. On the other hand, Bayern will try to stay atop the leaderboard by winning this game.

Actually, I can't predict any Bayern game this season. They have become so unpredictable. They thrash big teams like Leverkusen with 5 goals only to lose against Monchengladbach with 5 goals. So I don't know how they will do against Freiburg. But I hardly think that they might draw that one. Because Bayern has been either a high scorer or a high conceder. But although Freiburg is having a good enough season, I'm optimistic that Bayern will win this one. A lot depends on Lewandowski though.

As you already said, Bayern is still the huge favorite here, as they are in every match in the bundesliga even if they play against dortmund because the gap between the quality of the individual players of bayern and the rest of the bundesliga (including Dortmund) is just very big in my opinion. The timing could be great for Freiburg though this time. So far they seem very stable and they have the best defense of all Bundesliga clubs so far this season. So if they manage to get an early lead they could be able to get that 1 goal lead over the 90 minutes to win. Bayern on the other hand seems kind of shaky in the defense at the moment. I am still 90% sure though that bayern will win.

The main reason this match has been interesting is that Freiburg is playing great this season. They are now the third team in the points table. Freiburg is just 3 points behind Bayern Munich. My guess is the match will be a draw. However, Bayern Munich is a strong team. They will definitely try their best to win the match. Bayern Munich have not lost in their last five matches against Freiburg. But two matches have been drawn.

The Bayern Munich - Freiburg match this weekend can be a really interesting one. Of course, Bayern Munich are still the favourite team by far. But who knows, maybe Freiburg will surprise us like E. Frankfurt did. They are only 3 points behind Bayern Munich and at the 3rd place. Interestingly, Freiburg never were able to beat Bayern Munich away in their history. I wonder whether this will be the first. But I'm still favoring Bayern Munich highly.

The match in the DFB-Cup for me cannot be used as a benchmark because the event is not that prestigious for them, so it's no wonder that sometimes defeat for a top team in the DFB-Cup is often a surprise too. But for a match in the Bundesliga I think it's a definite result for a top team like Bayern Munich, whoever the opponent is will be beaten or the bad result is a draw but I'm not sure of that. Although currently Freiburg are in third place with a difference of 3 points, but I believe it will not be a barrier for Bayern Munich to win.

Those are two really interesting games next weekend. Especially the game between Bayern and Freiburg. Both had difficulties in the last DFB-Cup games. Bayern even a little more.  But I also think Bayern will win this game.
For the other game, I also see Dortmund coming off the pitch as a winner.

There has been a really nice rivalry among Bayern Munich (25 pts), Dortmund (24 pts) and Freiburg (22 pts). All of them won their games this week too. But it seems like we have a really interesting weekend ahead of us. Because there are two big games like:

Bayern Munich - Freiburg
Leipzig - Dortmund

For the first game, I can say that my choice would be Bayern Munich. I don't know whether Freiburg can even make big difficulties for their opponent as we saw what Bayern Munich did to Leverkusen while Leverkusen were even sharing the points with Bayern Munich at the top. Maybe they can resist in the first half but Bayern Munich would finish the job in the second half I suppose.

And when it comes to the other one, Dortmund are my favourite team. Actually, Leipzig have started to gather strength on the recent weeks after making a bad start to the season. But they still aren't a very credible team to me. Dortmund are having their best season after a long time. They continue to win even in the absence of the beast Erling Haaland. And I'm favoring them again here.

What a betting odd! You can see the power of Bayern. Freiburg has not lost any of 10 games, but the chances of winning are small. This match in my opinion will be a good match, but for me, Mainz will win this because right now Gladbach have 5 players that are injured and can not play and they can be very short over the defensive department, Mainz in the other hand had a great form and Jeremiah St. Juste is the only injured on the team, Mainz is my pick.

Bayern VS Freiburg

This is going to be a onesided match no doubt about it, Bayern will surely win this one,

Bochum VS Hoffenheim

For now, I think that Hoffenheim will be the crowd favorite, and even though Bochum will be playing on their home court I think they will have a hard time with Hoffenheim because Simon Zoller can not play I think Simon Zoller is a big game-changer for Bochum and 5 more players that can not play for the team, While Hoffenheim has 7 players that can not play for the team, but I guess these players is not their main team so Hoffenheim is the favorite one 1.93 odds and 3.75 for Bochum as per stake.com.

Stuttgart VS Arminia

In my opinion, this does need any analysis Stuttgart will be my pick 1.84 for Stuttgart and 4.30 for Arminia

Wolfsburg VS Augsburg

Right now Wolfsburg has many Players that can not play, 3 Injuries, 2 Covid, 1 Not Eligible, and 1 Risk Suspension, even though Wolfsburg has an unlikely player that can not play they have won against Leverkusen a favorite team from that match, so Wolfsburg still have Lucas Nmecha, Ridle Baku and Maximilian Arnold, my pick will be Wolfsburg.

With Bayern odds @1.2 vs Freiburg @12, I think no need to bet unless you want to take that huge risk or you choose something like number of goals or BTTS...etc

I didn't see the penalty but I think that Bayern are professional enough to not do such stuff. They even had a loss against Frankfurt earlier and they came back. They lost this match and I'm sure they will bounce back again. Maybe they got zoned out or something I don't know! About Match Fixing, @Iranus, I didn't see any such kind of rumor.

Maybe there are some problems going on which we don't know about but still, Bayern is the team who doesn't even think about big teams as worthy opponents, and here we have a relatively small team beating Bayern 5:0. It can't be the player's lack of knowledge or skills but something that is not being seen by the naked eye. Maybe there were some problems especially that day which made the players lose interest in the match and I hope Bayern will come back strongly in the next match. And I don't think it's a case of match-fixing at all.

In Bayern and Freiburg Match, Bayern will surely be the winners. I think the 5-0 loss of Bayern was like a one-off failure. No reason for Bayern to lose the match unless something unbelievable like that day happens again. But I don't think it will happen.

What you talking about? Bayern was simply unrecognizable, for 15 minutes their defense did not play at all, they lost all canopies, allowed to beat on their gates.
