I don't know whether he'd be interested in leaving Dortmund. But he can have problems on getting titles there I think. Because Bayern have still been dominating the Bundesliga. And Dortmund didn't have a decent season the last. Haaland is trying his best to contribute big to the team. But he can't carry the team in most of their games. The team should make an effort to become much better also.
The Cards getting mixed new in the coming season and i guess it will be more intresting on the front on the table.
I also think that Haaland will be at least one season more in Dortmund and then it depends how far Dortmund has come .
Also i can imagine that he will get an offer from Chelsa and from Bayern Munich or other big Teams.
Hope to see him in the German League longer.

If big clubs hesitate to pay more than $100 M for Haaland, Dortmund will keep him for one more season. The world can have a big crisis after the pandemic and it can occur next year, next 3 years, I don't know. Dortmund have to sell Haaland before the crisis.

They have good financial health but their strategy is find talented youth players, buy low, grow up and sell high.
I don't think that any big club would like to hesitate to pay that much. I think that they would like at least $150m for Haaland. He is one of the very special players in the end. If you have Haaland at your team, you start the game 1-0 ahead. I wonder which club would be the closest to buy him. There has been rumours like Chelsea are still very interested in him. I assume that he would really like to go to a champion team.

Haaland is a goal machine. Having Haaland on your team means you are 50% sure you will win the match, now make a good match plan, and build bonding between the players. Not only will Haaland win a match, other players need to cooperate. I also heard that Chelsea are still interested in including Haaland in the team. But Haaland may not be interested in leaving his old club.

We all know that Haaland is a great player,a goal machine,a nice finisher, yes he is,but my concern for Haaland leaving Dortmund to England is,can he Excel at England?we've seen many great players who where very good when they were in other leagues, become flop when they come to England, because England is not just a place you come and play fancy football without backing it up with energy. It us the most competitive and combative league in the world.English premier league is not German bundesliga or Laliga where a striker bags more than 30 goals per season. In England, the defenders take it upon themselves to defend their teams, and so it makes scoring hard for strikers.I think if Haaland still wants to remain a top footballer the way he is,he should just remain at Dortmund.

He is one of the best goal machines in history and is the best in his generation. I am not sure that Haaland goals in the last season helped Dortmund to win 50% of their matches. Is it true? Any article about this? I am not go seriously with it because I agree with you that he is a goal machine, very productive.
It is not about "surely you will win %50 of your games with him" but he is handling 50% of the winning change more like. Because in order to win you need to have a goal, and he scores more goals than once every two games, his ratio was over 0.50 so that means half of the goals are already done, he actually at 1 goal per 90 minutes played.

So, if you can handle the defense, I am sure someone else will eventually score anyway and that means you are handling most of the problem right off the bat, there is nothing extra about it. I do believe that we should be looking at what he brings compared to any other person on the paper as well, like there are super players but they are not looking that super on paper, you do not see their help on stats that much, Haaland is different, you can literally see his awesome play every game on the score sheet and that is a big deal.

Football clubs are existing on the world and they have interactions with many things, economics, politics, public health problems like the Covid-19. They can not be healthy if the world have a big financial crisis. They are readily to spend or hesitate to spend more than $100 M for one player or not, it will depend on what will happen on the world after the pandemic ending.

Normally, such sums would be paid for such a great and effective young striker as Haaland, if there would not have been such a crisis and the resulting loss of income for all clubs. With Dortmund keeping him for at least one more season, the situation may look better again next year for many top clubs and then a Premier League club or a Sheikh club will put $100+ million on the table. I don't think that's out of the question, especially if he plays another season like the last one.
Exactly man. Dortmund want to sell more than $100 M but big clubs are all in troubles and they have to spend carefully and choose what players are their priorities for this transfer season. They can wait one or three more seasons with Haaland.

I don't give it much chance for Haaland to go to a Sheikh club at this age. I've no doubt that they'd be able to spend much more money than any club in Europe. Chelsea may be able to afford Haaland. Because they earned a really good amount of money when they became champions in the CL in the last season. Covid period affected big clubs as well, I know it too. Let's wait and see what's going to happen. I hope he goes to Chelsea. He can win titles there.

The 2. Bundesliga is probably as strong as it has never been before. I wouldn't bet on Schalke advancing to the first league straight away. Everyone will be highly motivated to beat them, it's a different game for almost every team in the 2. Bundesliga and those who cam from 3. Bundesliga. Tough year ahead for Schalke!
You are right that the second League will be this season harder as never before.
I would say that it will be intresting to watch the games in the second League too.
One is clear, that Schalke will have it very hard to come back in this year to the first league.
This is true, second division will be insanely hard this year and everyone has a shot to win it (okay not everyone obviously), one of the rare years when I can't decide who will be champions by the end by a long margin.

However let's not put Schalke down that easily just because they had a horrible season last year, sure they were horrible but they are not going to just rewind it all and have another bad season, that was one season and that's done, I am sure they are going to fix some stuff, get some new players, and have a better season next year, after all they have what it takes, they have the facilities, they have the scouting, they have the name to attract players and they have the money compared to almost all other teams so I feel like they still have a "chance" if they can actually turn things around, not saying they will win it, but saying they won't would be stretch too.

That is how I see it too. I think it is getting more and more interesting to watch the 2. Bundesliga every year. There, it is still exciting to see who will occupy the first 3 places. You don't know beforehand and there are surprises every year.
I personally don't know what factors will make Schalke difficult, whether it's because the management has not improved or the squad they have still has many shortcomings to be able to return to the Bundesliga in the following season. If it all doesn't have serious problems then I personally believe at least Schalke still have a chance to be able to finish the season in the top 3, because competition like that has become commonplace and they always have high motivation to be able to reach the top 3 every season.

The schedule for the 2. Bundesliga war already published. The opening game will be held between Hamburger SC and Schalke 04. The second relegated team ,Werder Bremen, will play against Sportverein Hannover on Sunday. The first matchday is on 23 July.
Why Schalke 0 is so lucky to always start the first game? Will they continue playing in clown mode and receive 8 eggs again or did they improved? I see they made some transfer and get back some loaned players without getting any one new in the attack line.

It sure seem like their management is ignorant of their weaknesses with little to no interest to fix these weaknesses in their squad, then it's on them. Maybe they are underestimating teams in 2.Bundesliga thinking they would easily get on the top spot without strengthening their squad. They're in for rough ride then. That's what they did in 2020/2021 season ~ Make few additions, and loaning players that could provide more options and making sales. Look how it turned out for them at the end of the season.

I agree, it won't be an easy year for any of the reputable clubs that played for a long time in the 1. Bundesliga. The 2. Bundesliga is probably as strong as it has never been before. I do not think that Haaland will stay that long. I understand that pandemic caused a lot of financial trouble for teams but at what point in history can you find someone as amazing as Haaland? That dude is one of the best strikers in active player pool, I understand there could be some arguments about who else could be but I think in "pure striker" sense he could very well be the best. Like maybe you can say Mbappe right?
Well, he is not pure striker, dude could very well play at wings if you put him there or he is a different style at offense, or look at Firmino for biggest example, he is playing at the center of offense but he is not striker at all. So at the end of the day we are talking about a player that you can't find anytime soon. Hence teams could be drooling over trying to get him and money is not an issue for many just so they can get him. Chelsea already have a 150 million offer.
I think that there will be a buyer for 100 million in any case Wink Another question is that such a sum is unlikely to suit Dortmund and it seems that there is already a good offer from Chelsea. However, it seems that it is not quite clear what the agent, father and Haaland himself think about this. I believe that this is the order in which the priority is placed in making the final decision on the transfer Grin Haaland shows an impressive game and will calmly fit into the game of any top club, so if the transition does not happen now, then it seems that it will certainly happen in the winter transfer window and no financial crises in theory should prevent this.

you’ll are forgetting one very important point, that Bayern steals their local competitors player’s season after season and thus they make their competitors weaker. Furthermore no where in other leagues do local clubs sell to their biggest competitor (year after year), and till the clubs in Bundesliga continue to do business with them there’s no way they’ll be able to end Bayern dominance over winning the title.
You are right on this one ,Bayern has always had an unfair advantage over its local competitors through using its monetary power to get other teams top talents.

And here we are expecting them to lose a title, while the use the top talents of league that were supplied to them by the teams the compet against .... tbh they stand no chance!! But if rules were changed how these players were traded that would be unfair in some way to both teams and players ,so let's keep this going.

I am pretty sure they will dominate the league for a good while more. New coach, new motivation for everybody and Sancho confirmed to go to Manchester United I think?
The transfer of Sancho is completed and two clubs agree the transfer fee. They only wait for Sancho to finish the Euro tournament and officially sign a contract with Manchester United.

Dortmund should make sure that they are not going to lose another good one. They can't let go Haaland this season, but what would they do if a club offers $150 million? Tough, Dortmund is financially healthy, but not that healthy to not even consider selling him.

I would say they won't sell him for less than $150 million now in total. Meaning that there is a fir sum like $120 million and the rest is success dependent. The point is if they let Sancho and Haaland go, there is a good chance that they will miss the champions league qualification. If that happens the loss is even bigger financially than giving him away for $75 million next year compared to $100 million this year. Haaland is a magnet to spectators, jersey selling, people go to the stadium for him. There are many more factors involved. Let's see what's going to happen over the next couple of weeks! Wink
