yesterday munich took over the lead in the national league / bundesliga . leipzig lost in mönchengladbach. i think now the players from munich will always be on top.
They have a lot of games including dfb cup and champions league .but they have so many good players that they will always stay on top this season
and become german champion in the end . it will be like every year  Wink

It's been 8 seasons since the last time they did not win the champion title. They are too strong, I have to admit that. And not only are they powerful, but they are also fucking wealthy. They have bought so many good players from the whole league which both make them stronger and weakens their opponents.

Even though they seem not to have any good competitor in the national league, their force remains strong, and their performance in the international matches is still pretty astonishing. Just hope Dortmund will soon get back their momentum as well as recover their financial issue. Being a dominator is kinda boring to me.

A intresting match will come in evening today with Hoffenheim vs Union Berlin , normaly i go for Hoffenheim but Union is also good at the moment.

from my point of view, nor Hoffenheim neither Union are good at the moment, and that is the main issue with this match, so i am closer to Union win, just because of the away advantage in these strange times
with that in mind, would probably skip this match, except for goals, both-to-score or over 2.5, but there seem to be better choices this evening

Why can't Hertha get their shit together and start winning?! In the betting game with my colleagues I have them on 6th place at the end of the season, not close to relegating ... Only 4 points out of 6 matches with all the investments they made. If they continue with this poor results, Bruno Labbadia will be the next coach that has to fear for his job.

hertha on the sixth place is very optimistic of you. i personally see hertha bsc berlin on place 8-10 at the end of the season.hertha has bought some good players.
but it's not an intact team yet. and i don't think labbadia is the right coach  ;)sorry ! but i do not think that labbadia will end this season in berlin

Hertha = 6? The last 2 seasons weren't very successful for them, being +10 tho? This season doesn't look great for them until now at least.
For now, the first 5 teams in the last season kept their position except Leverkusen and M'Gladbach switching spots.
Same goes for the the actual last 3 teams, they played poorly last season and they simply deserve to be there. They are even making the job easier for the other teams to avoid the relegation zone Lips sealed

It is not really that easy to build a team for cheap, specially not when you are fighting for a spot in Bundesliga which is one of the biggest leagues in the world. Of course you should be careful about who you are buying and how much you are paying but let's be honest when you want to build a team for Bundesliga you are going to spend a lot of money and sometimes you could find a player that is good and buy him and pay him and at the end that player could start playing bad as soon as they come to you.

It could be a chemistry issue, it could be a tactical issue, it could be any reason and that money is now gone and since you offered him few years with the same amount now you are stuck with him. This is not the first time a team made a bad financial decision, and it will probably not be the last one neither.

Well, you can't win 'em all, can you?  Wink

Hehe, that would be super boring Grin Augsburg definitely has a good team for their standards and they have established themselves as a solid middle of the pack team with some relegation worries here and there. They won't finish in Top5 though, might even get relegated, since this season there is no really bad team apart from Bielefeld maybe, who have poorest quality squad-wise. Mainz, Schalke, Cologne will collect their points and then you have teams like Freiburg, Union, Hertha, Bremen, Augsburg who will join the party at the bottom of the table sooner or later. And they can all beat each other on any given day.

DNB @1.50 is good, but -0.25 AHC @1.80?

Hard to tell, odds look ok to me. Leverkusen has always been priced around the 2.00 mark in recent years playing at Freiburg, but they weren't super successful with only one win and going 1-4-2. Both teams are healthy-ish, but Leverkusen had EL game on Thursday evening at Prague, which is no long trip, but I don't like betting on EL teams three days later in an away game. Looks like a draw, maybe 0-0 (all the 4 draws I mentioned were 0-0's), so your dnb won't do no harm Cheesy

The club has huge financial problems, caused by mismanagement over the last couple of years. ~snip~

Yep, reminds me very much of HSV and somehow it would be deserved for Schalke to relegate just because of this. Just like it was for Hamburg, but it took some seasons until they finally got what they deserved. And with a gun to my had, I would pick Schalke not to relegate (Bielefeld and Union would be my picks, 16th placed team will win playoffs, because GER2 is weak this season).

I think what these teams (Schalke & Mainz) miss badly during these hard times, is their fans. When everything goes according to plan, it's nice to have the fans cheering - but when you are in a crisis, that is when you really need them; their support, their chants, their emotions, even their anger towards you as a player/team.

You are right on that , that it would be helping them at the moment for playing better as doing right now ,
but dont forget that they was playing already bad last season even the fans was in the stadium .
There was happening something wrong in the managment and they should win soon if they dont want get down into the second league.

These teams need some external input during the games, because it doesn't come from within at the moment. Fans can give you confidence and also take your confidence, but if the stadiums would be packed next round, I am sure we would see a different Schalke/Mainz with 100% fan support. Since this won't happen, they will have to find other ways to get back on track until then. One thing is for sure though: At least one of them will not lose next weekend Smiley

Good point. I think it's affecting Schalke even more than Mainz. Schalke fans are really passionate about their team and the packed Veltins Arena is definitely something that can push you forward in your home games. But it would be way too easy to just brush their problems off by saying it's the Covid19 crisis and the fans that aren't in the stadium anymore.

The club has huge financial problems, caused by mismanagement over the last couple of years. Just look at Sebastian Rudy for example. Came from Bayern for 15 million, gets paid 6 million a year but just cannot fulfill the expectations they had in him. Goes on loan to Hoffenheim for a year. Comes back but still Schalke has no real use for him. Too bad he still has this contract that gives him 6 million a year. So in the end he goes back to Hoffenheim on loan and Schalke agrees to pay half of his salary (3 million). Rudy voluntarily waives the other half of his salary. So basically Hoffenheim get him completely for free. I am sure they laugh secretly about Schalke.
It's no wonder you don't have the money to put together a strong team when you waste your funds like that ....

Talking about Mainz - another team on life support - I am putting my money on them today (...)+0.25 for @1.94

Deserved win for Augsburg, though there was some hope with the equalizer. Game was 10min too long in the end Grin
Well, you can't win 'em all, can you?  Wink Not sure if Ausburg are overperforming right now or what, but the last image i have of Ausburg is them trying to avoid relegation last season, so seeing them in the top 5 right now is extremely odd...maybe it's a just a good start of the season before they start tumbling down  Tongue

anyhoo, been a while since i placed a bundesliga ticket, but i'm thinking of backing Leverkusen tomorrow They'll play away vs. Freiburg, a good team that its yet to find their good form (winless in the last 4 league matches), while Bayer finally started getting 3 points with back-to-back wins in the last couple of weeks. DNB @1.50 is good, but -0.25 AHC @1.80? i might go for the latter, gonna wait until tomorrow and see if we can get better odds

Something that could give Schalke some hope is that Köln was in a similar situation last season.

Schalke drawing vs Stuttgart? Didn't see that coming Tongue
Mainz 0 point after 6 matches, it doesn't look good at all for them. Dortmund and Bayern winning as usual but interestingly M'Gladbach is leading with 1 goal vs Leipzig until now with 10 minutes left in the game!
Today Lipzig going to lost first match of this season and now staying on third place behind Bayern and Dortmund but its oing to be very interesting in this season as they are really doing good because in next round we have Dortmund vs Bayern and this can help Lipzig to climb again on some better place.

Half won is better than lost. Probably not a deserved result, but in Schalke we trust Cool At some point they should start collecting 3 points though, because just draws won't get you anywhere. Next week they play @Mainz......

Well, they doubled their points! And looking at their second half, they should be happy with that draw yesterday. Says a lot when that match was one of your best performances this season so far and still you have to be glad to not lose against a team that came from the second league. After the penalty that led to the 1-1, that was nothing from Schalke. You could really see how that destroyed that last bit of confidence they had. Mainz, the team they play against next is even worse with all 6 matches lost so far and 0 points. If Schalke won't win that match, people will already start to critisize Baum. That they have to play their DFB pokal match right on Tuesday isn't helping either.

Something that could give Schalke some hope is that Köln was in a similar situation last season. At matchday 14 they only had 8 points. In the following weeks with Gisdol they managed to win 8 out of their next 11 matches. But right now I don't see how Schalke will manage to start such winning streak and when you keep falling behind too far that's all that could save you.

5 matches today :

Köln vs Bayern Munich
Arminia Bielefeld vs B Dortmund
Frankfurt vs Werder Bremen
Augsburg vs Mainz
Gladbach vs Leipzig

Over 2.5 goals for all of them , i have to try this parlay  Grin

Scores so far on the today's 31st Oct, Bundlesliga games.

1. FC Koeln 0-2 Bayern Munich

Arminia Bielefeld 0-2 Borussia Dortmund

Augsburg 1-1 Mainz 05

Eintracht Frankfurt 1 1 Werder Bremen

It's going to be a very heated match between Borussia Moenchengladbach ?-? RasenBallsport Leipzig as they are just equally matched. Leipzig has got my support so far but, I don't see them winning this one. I won't bet against them either.
Bundlesliga seemed to lack a lot of goals in the league today, I won't be surprised if the last game for the day ends in a goal less or a 1-1 draw.
It seems the teams hard a pip on your bet and chose to bring it down by limiting the goals @EdenHazard, you've still got one match to go though but the chances are .... 😀

4 lost
1 draw

2 goals scored
19 goals conceded.
That's terrible stats for schalke , they might could go for winless run again ..
21 winless games for schalke according to https://www.transfermarkt.com/schalke-looking-for-three-points-longest-winless-streak-n-europes-top-leagues/view/news/373592

I'll go for schalke to get lost another one , they are simply too sucks to be backed.
This season Stuttgart is far more impressive than Schalke who can only win one point from the five matches played, Unlike Stuttgart, which is in fifth position with two wins and two draws and only one defeat by winning 8. points. From statistics Stuttgart is more favored than Shalke who has not been able to win even though this season, maybe the 2-0 score for Stuttgart seems very suitable to see Stuttgart's performance is also quite impressive compared to Schalke who was only able to draw last week. But it is possible that Schalke with their position in the red zone could contribute more so that they can win the first 3 points against Stuttgart in order to avoid the drop zone.
Despite schalke successfully secured 1 point , they just extended the winless streak now to 22. Schalke woes did really continue, sad to see this as they were one of the best in Bundesliga back in the days .. since 2000 to 2014 they always become title contender, the last time they become one of the title contenders is at 2018 where they finished 2nd behind unstoppable bayern munich. Leon goretza still play there and that was his last season with schalke.
