Schalke haven't won in Bundesliga since 18th Jan when they defeated Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0. They have been either playing draw or are getting defeated in Bundesliga after that.
That's quite a bad stats for them, it seemed Bayern ripped out of them all hopes of having a good game after there schalke 0-8 Bayern and yeah, Bayern contributed greatly to there high goal difference. Technically, in the loss against Bayern, Bayern scored more goals than the entire schalke team this season as we have it so far. But then, this form of play will surely get them relegated.

Bayern and Leipzig seem to have had a rather difficult weekend, having the same 1-1 scoreline against there respective opponents  Werder Bremen and Eintranht Frankfurt. Perhaps it's exhaustion from the international break as they've got most of the top players though, Bayern still stays top of the league. That's how amazing these guys are. They've got everything in control.

The lower third of the table is now really close together. Even though Schalke is now on the last spot and has been playing terrible, they are only one more point behind place 15.

Schalke haven't won in Bundesliga since 18th Jan when they defeated Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0. They have been either playing draw or are getting defeated in Bundesliga after that. Pretty unlucky streak but they are not showing any kind of good football right now. 5 goals scored and 24 goals conceded shows they are struggling really badly. Nothing is working out for them.

mainz currently leads 3:0 in freiburg. schalke 04 is now last .mateta has scored all three goals for mainz .
that's a big surprise for me > yesterday my tip was a 2:0 for freiburg . the corona bundesliga surprises you every day  Wink

Mateta ... what a surprise. I think he scored now his goals 6,7 and 8 in only four matches against SC Freiburg. As I was expecting, Freiburg was the perfect sparring partner for Mainz, terrible first half by them.

Let's now see if Köln manages to get their first win this season, too. I highly doubt it cause Union is in a much better form right now.

Haaland won a Golden Boy and see how he celebrated it. He scored four goals (a poker) in the match with Leipzig to celebrate it. He is still in his early career and what he has done (in total goals in national leagues and Champions League) are better than what Messi or Ronaldo did at the same ages.

I believe his days in Bundesliga or at least in Dortmund will be over soon. With the covid impact on financial balance of teams, transfers are getting harder with the old prices but I believe he needs to get more experience in Bayern or another top team somewhere else!

@snipie you’re right as Halland is an exceptional player, but the irony is that Dortmund has never been able to hold on to their exceptional player’s for long, and therefore I believe that Halland too will leave at the end of this season.

Also I know that many here will doubt that he’ll leave so soon, but for those doubters look at the release clause that his team forced Dortmund to insert when he signed, and this release clause was the reason why Manchester United refused to sign him in this year’s January’s transfer window.

I think Håland will be the next Lewandoski for Bayern Munchen, a pretty impressive performance and has a very good sense of goals, which is right for him to get the golden boy this season. We know how the ending for the great Dortmund players will ultimately be the successor to Bayern Munich. But Håland's impressive performance is perfect if he tries to play in the Premier League, he has above average speed and also a body balance that is effective enough to compete in the English league rather than someday receiving an offer from Bayern Munich.

Manchester United wanted to make a transfer with Haaland last year but finally he joined Dortmund and I thought his decision is right. Dortmund is a good club for youth players to grow up. Haaland and Jadon are great youth players that have all grown up well in Dortmund.

Yes I agree that Haaland won't want to stay in Dortmund for long and Dortmund with their transfer strategies will accept good deal for Haaland then find another player to replace him.

Dortmund is similar to Sevilla (Spain) and AS Roma (Italy). They all lost their key players to their opponents in same national leagues or to bigger clubs in other nations. They all try to manage a position in top 4 and Champions League. Sevilla is very successful in Europa League but that is all they get.

Haaland is an incredible player, one of the best wonderkids in the world in my opinion. It is fitting that Haaland won a golden boy award.
Especially in the match against Hertha Berlin, Haaland managed to score 4 goals. And according to the news that I read, Haaland was
upset that coach Favre replaced Haaland at the last minute by Youssoufa Moukoko. Even though he believes he can score more than 4 goals,
very high self-confidence from Haaland.

Anyone else got the feeling Mainz will get their first win on Sunday?

I got this feeling for a longer time already Grin But I think it will happen in a home game, so maybe against Hoffenheim next weekend. That being said, X2 for Mainz @1.90 is still a good bet, looks very draw-ish game and Freiburg at around 2.00 is too low.

Odds for Freiburg have dropped further and you can get Mainz X2 for above 2 now, which looks a solid bet, which I have placed now. Will maybe add to my stake, if Freiburg takes the lead.

Would also like to bet on Cologne, but I never can seem to get Union's games right, so better stay away.

For GER2 I don't like the 1X2 odds today, so just parlayed all games to go over 2.5 and will look for some opportunities inplay.

Erling Haaland is already a super player. 4 goals in one game is amazing. he is big and very fast. and the left foot is super dangerous.
i am really curious when Erling Haaland will change the club for a lot of money. he will probably not change under 75 or 100  million.
dortmund had paid only 20 million to red bull salzburg some time ago.

Certainly nobody expected this. First Bremen takes the lead and then Bayern only manages a draw. Also I didn't think that so many of the other games ended in a draw als well. Shitty day

Hoffenheim didn't managed to win today, but Kramaric presence was already visible. As soon as he is back to first them there are goal and assists. I expect Hoffenheim to get more good results as long as Krama is healthy and playing.

And Bayern wtf.? Didn't watch the game, now I need to check the highlights.

hope this time the results will not be draw because many bettors chose Dortmund.

Dortmund has some issues with Covid, but I can see that Haaland is there in the line-up, so they should win this one, will see
Leverkusen used Leipzig and Bayern draws to get position two, just a point behind Bavarian giant, and they could stay there if Dortmund does not win, I did not expected another good season from Leverkusen, and this one they play great from the start, maybe they can catch CL next season

with this play, I would not count out Leverkusen from late stage of Europa league, even semi-final or final

Anyone watched that game? It seems that Leipzig players forgot their wiiings. And they missed an opportunity to tie with Bayern.
It is Dortmund turn now. Hopefully they will not make bettors cry again Roll Eyes
very real, Bayern and Leipzig have disappointed the Bettor...

Rest of my picks/thoughts were bad though; Hoffenheim got the late equalizer, Schalke lost again and Braunschweig had a nightmare game as well. Not a good round until now. And Schalke really is utterly poor. I always have a hard time imagining such a big club going down to 2. Bundesliga, but there really is few hope with the way they are playing. Looks like we will see another headcoach soon....any guesses ? Udo Lattek is dead already Tongue

And the way Schalke was playing today doesn't really make me think that everything will get much better for them soon. Next matches are against Gladbach, Leverkusen and Augsburg. I don't wanna offend any Schalke fan but I don't really see how they'll manage to get more than 1 point (maybe against Augsburg) out of these matches. Very likely that Baum is already a good pick again for the next sacking. But who shouid take over then?! I don't think Baum is a good coach but more and more I get the feeling that the coach isn't the (only) problem. The team isn't really put together well. Letting players like Caliguri and McKennie go wasn't really a good idea.

Now Frankfurt is leading Leipzig at HT, this might be the next upset. Could be a good round for Dortmund, if they deliver at Berlin later.

Everyone thought it would be a very easy win for Bayern Munich.

Not bragging, but I at least saw some value there, without betting on Bremen Grin

Bayern looks a bit short against Bremen, but even if there is some value, it's hard to imagine Bremen getting a point or more here. The last time they did was a decade ago Roll Eyes
