I believe his days in Bundesliga or at least in Dortmund will be over soon. With the covid impact on financial balance of teams, transfers are getting harder with the old prices but I believe he needs to get more experience in Bayern or another top team somewhere else!
Manchester United wanted to make a transfer with Haaland last year but finally he joined Dortmund and I thought his decision is right. Dortmund is a good club for youth players to grow up. Haaland and Jadon are great youth players that have all grown up well in Dortmund.
Yes I agree that Haaland won't want to stay in Dortmund for long and Dortmund with their transfer strategies will accept good deal for Haaland then find another player to replace him.
@snipie you’re right as Halland is an exceptional player, but the irony is that Dortmund has never been able to hold on to their exceptional player’s for long, and therefore I believe that Halland too will leave at the end of this season.
Dortmund is similar to Sevilla (Spain) and AS Roma (Italy). They all lost their key players to their opponents in same national leagues or to bigger clubs in other nations. They all try to manage a position in top 4 and Champions League. Sevilla is very successful in Europa League but that is all they get.
Haaland is an incredible player, one of the best wonderkids in the world in my opinion. It is fitting that Haaland won a golden boy award.
Especially in the match against Hertha Berlin, Haaland managed to score 4 goals. And according to the news that I read, Haaland was
upset that coach Favre replaced Haaland at the last minute by Youssoufa Moukoko. Even though he believes he can score more than 4 goals,
very high self-confidence from Haaland.
