Bremen plays against Paderborn. Bremen is stronger away than home. They haven't lost the last three games away. But Paderborn lost only one game from the last five. But they have to win. It seems, that will be the last chance for Paderborn.

But it's also a must-win for Bremen if they don't want to get relegated. If they don't win against Paderborn they can already start to plan their trips to Sandhausen, Aue etc. For a long time, I was sure that they have good chances to beat Paderborn but the closer we get to the match, the bigger my doubts get. Although they have not lost the last three away games, their performance was all but convincing in these games. And now that they have lost their last game, I fear that they will be extremely insecure, especially when they are almost forced to win this game (next one will be against Bayern). And together with an already shaking defence that's a really bad combination.

Paderborn on the other hand seems to just enjoy the remaining matches. This phrase sounds weird but I think everybody at that club is/was just thankful for the season in the first league (remember they played in the third league 2 seasons ago) Nobody expects much from them so they can play without any pressure.

So the more I think about this game, the more indecisive I get. Right now I'd probably bet on a draw or BTTS.

Leipzig has their chance tomorrow in Hoffenheim, M'Gladbach is playing with Bayern and Leipzig could reach 6 point lead to them, which will secure CL for them next season...
-snip-
Securing a CL spot is a must for them especially that its rivals have a decent games (bah for Schalke/Leverkusen used to be maybe), so at least having +6 difference is very important. However regarding their overall performance I am worried that the game will end with a surprise..

in Zweite, HSV has another chance after missing Kiel winning on Monday, they play in Dresden, and that one should come for sure @1.5

I always feel like the era of players from North America is gone for the European leagues. Not that there are no great players now but even when we talk about Christian Pulisic, he was good, but then when he moved to England he became really poor to the point no one even talks about him now. Davies could be the same, but let us not put more pressure on him:)

Agree. Sooner or later you will see Pulisic in the Bundesliga again. It was the same with Shinji Kagawa, Nuri Sahin and others. They played great because they fit perfectly into the system and philosophy of a team. If they then move to another team, they quickly reach their performance limits. Only really good players can adapt to different systems and game philosophies.

Alphonso Davies is a big surprise because he was not grown and trained to become a swing back but now he is one of the greatest ones in the position.

but from what i have seen Alphonso Davies had another great match. He is only 19 years old and he is already a top player. Canada will have a top star in the years to come. Can't remember any top Canadian player, think that there probably wasn't any since soccer is very low on their nation sports lists.

yeah, do not remember that they had some talents before, but now had two, with Davies, they have Jonathan David from Gent, already 18 goals this season, seems that these two could be enough for them to qualify for following world cups in the row, since both are born in 2000

Bayern got it. I don't know why Frankfurt didn't try to play more attacking in the first half, second half was much better from them. They were in control when Bayern managed to score the second goal and clinch the game.

Bayern has aimed to their 3-titles season again. They nearly get the titles for DFB cup, and Bundesliga. The only challenge for them now is the Champions League. They have many advantages in Champions League when it comes back because they will only focus all their resources for it when their opponents around Europe will have to split their resources for fights in national leagues. It is a big advantage but it does not make sure that Bayern will win the Champions League.

I don't want to imagine how statistics on new infected cases will be reported next 2 weeks and whether such things will affect the other major leagues (Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A, as well as the Champions League and Europa League).
The number of infections will probably rise again soon. But as long as no player has been present at the demonstrations, the risk of infection among players is quite low.
It depends from the number of people infected in each country and speaking about Germany, Italy, spain, UK, well there is already huge number of people infected (+ asymptomatic) so the risk of another big rise is unlikely to happen. For football, Bundesliga proved it is safe Wink

Come the final, it's just going to be an additional collection of trophy to Bayern Muinch's cabinet, but I'll be rooting for an revenge/upset from Bayer Leverkusen, though.
Yeah Bayern is unstoppable right now but remember that Liverpool lost a game vs Watford so why Bayern couldn't lose vs Leverkusen this time.
The only problem that could affect the quality of the game and that I could think of right now is the risk of injury which will be a bigger problem for Leverkusen than Bayern maybe?

Yeb if they would have played exactly the same way they have done in the second half i guess it would be a other result as it was now.
Frankfurt was realy playing well at the second half or Bayern just stoped playing .
But was realy a nice watching in the second half and great match with a lot of chances.

it is about to end and Frankfurt didnt score.
Actually, I think there was no chance already for them.

Munich has a great form. After Dortmund match, I think there is no team in Germany that can stop them.

There are 15 min to play in this match about Bayern Munich and Frankfurt and at the moment Bayern has 2 goals scored and Frankfurt 1.
Second half Frankfurt is playing better as in the first and they playing very well and have there chances.
Its possible that we see an over time hopefully.

five minutes to go, maybe there is a still chance for Frankfurt to equalize the score and we can see an overtime, although could not say that i believe in that
Bayern is too good to allow that

it is 1:0 in Munich at the moment, and Frankfurt is held on their half, so does not seem that they will be able to score, so Bayern is close to the final, hope that that match will be more interesting than today

The decision to return to the field in the Covid-19 situation in phases (Bundesliga, La Liga Premier League Champions League) is a big challenge for the league authorities. However, they have ensured safety for the players. They have also made some changes to the rules on the field. I think the major leagues can change their decision only if the corona situation does not worsen globally.

So Shalke 04 has the worst period of the last 50 years with 0 victories in the last 13 or 14 games which is hard to believe. For me is not so surprising as Shalke was fighting relegation a couple of years ago and since then they had a good year followed by a bad year and so on until this year when they kind start well. I was in 2012 at Shalke Steaua at Cluj Napoca in Romania and I remember the hole stadium stood up and cheering for Raul Gonzales. Anyway, I hope Shalke will find those 3 points this weekend.

They had a team that doesn't deserve to fight for the relegation.
They should be competing for a position in the Europa League at least. The team is safe they will not be relegated but they do not had as an initial goal not to hit the Europa league positions.
