I doubt that they are going to face any serious challenge in their bid to defend their title this season, Successfully defending their title in the Bundeliga is no big deal but their inability to really challenge for the UEFA Champions League is very worrisome and i believe the lack of competition in the Bundesliga is to be blamed entirely.

Agree! Bayern has a lot of top players which are missing. And Bayern had really bad pre-season test matches. Dortmund had a good season preparation and they play in their own stadium, so Bayern will probably have no chance today. There is also a good chance to bet because at most betting sites odds for Dortmund are better than for Bayern.

the current German champion Bayern Munich has displayed a disappointing performance during the pre-season football carnival, though it is just like a friendly match. but they have to show their real performance. last night they conceded 3 goals against Liverpool, not only that they also conceded 4 goals against AC Milan a couple of days before. so as a fan of them I am really frustrated about this result.
