Todays match will be a nice Derby between Hertha Berlin and Union Berlin .
And its difficult to bet on them as its a special game for both but i will place my bet on Union Berlin.
There are a few intresting games  this weekend like Gladbach vs Leverkusen and also Munich hasnt won against Frankfurt.
Dortmund should be good in Wolfsburg and win this.

The both to score is @1.69
That’s also a good single odd to pick, I agree with you that this can end as a friendly match

Hertha is bottom 3 in the league in home points collected so a home win is not something I will go for, I thought about over goals as well. Both teams are practically rooted to the middle of the table and don't have much to play for.

I'll either go for over goals or under yellow cards, whatever gives better odds. It smells almost like a no-pressure friendly match.

We have only one Bundesliga match today, better one that noone Smiley

My single for today is:

Hertha BSC - 1. FC Union Berlin
Asian Total Over 2.5 @1.88

Based on the before covid stats, Herta & Union Berlin are both easy goal receivers
I’m predicting an open offensive football tonight, so this margin of 2.5 goals should be reached easily

Ligue 1 also had Lyon I think, who won like 500 titles back to back, after that PSG started to be like that. When there is too much money in a team thanks to owner and not thanks to league, you do not see any other team getting too well to beat them that easily. Look at premier league, plenty of teams with superb billionaire rich people and they never dominate the league, sure they are good, and sure they could win the league as well, but never back to back to back for years dominating the league.

Bayern has been good in more German way, like they did something correctly once upon a time and from all the money they made they invested into right people and right places and basically became all around good, when you are good and use the money to be even better, its hard for other teams to catch up.

This Saturday game is harder for Dortmund than Bayern then 2 days to power up and face to face Tuesday. It is hard to predict, the two teams are very good, Dortmund did well in its first game after resuming. I think Bayern could win hardly or maybe a tie? I prefer seeing Saturday games before placing any odds!
Dortmund has more motivation behind to win the direct clash for the title while Bayern at least can expect a draw. If Bayern win the coming clash, we might see them win the title one more season. Dortmund has their best season among latest ones and I don't think Dortmund will manage the same performance next season because Jardon Sancho might have a transfer to bigger club in the coming summer transfer market. It is so challenging for Dortmund to find a good player to replace Sancho.

Bayern has an amazing performance so far again.
Every season Bayern is stronger in the second half of the season. If Dortmund will be able to win this title will be just for one reason and this reason is named Haaland. He is an amazing player and has added a lot of value to the team.
Best leagues imo are those where you don't know who will get the title between several teams especially EPL. France league for years was reserved for PSG which sucks, same goes for others. Bundesliga and Bayern too is a love story! I prefer seeing other teams taking the title for few years so it will make Bundesliga more dynamic but untill now, i don't think this will happen this year even if I wonder see Dortmund n1

Very nice share, thanks for that.

If the bookies keep their odds as normal for more goals in second half per game this could be free money. Of course, they will catch to that quite soon but maybe we still have few game weeks to try and exploit the situation.

I just checked and my betting site has them @1.55, meaning you have to get 2/3 to break even. Don't know if it is worth a try. I was quite sure that odds were higher before but maybe I am wrong. It is not one of the markets I bet on usually.

The odds on more goals in 2nd half were always lower than number of goals in 1st half. It's probably statistically calculated, and now when you have 5 substitutes you can basically substitute the whole offensive line and at the end of the match you will have fresh attackers playing against tired defenders on both sides of the pitch so it's even more of a chance that there will be more goals in 2nd half.

I don't really think there's much of an edge here.

My guess and thinking is that on the next big intresting match between Bayern Munich and Dortmund the Champion will comes out!
The one that will win this match will be getting the Champion of the German League.
And Dortmund will playing at there Home and Bayern hasnt won all others for now .
Not Bayern Munich again  Cry

I don't know if am the only one thinking about this but for the sake of reviving entertainment or viewership to the Bundesliga i just do hope Borrusia Dortmund wins the tie against Bayern Munich so that they can go ahead and win the league.

Well, we have seen teams coming back, we have seen Bayern and how on form they were basically, we have seen Dortmund who looked like the best team coming back and that is very valuable. We basically have seen everything we need to see on the first week. I am not going lie I didn't wagered at all on the first games because I wasn't entirely sure on how the teams will come back, maybe they would be the same, maybe they would be a lot worse, I didn't know what to expect so I didn't gamble.

I would have gambled on just 3 games if I did, Bayern, Dortmund and Liepzig, I would have won the first two and lose the last one, looking at it right now I will probably have like 4 or 5 bets next week, I will either make them all individual or in order to profit more, I could make 3 game parlay instead as well.

I would have expected just the opposite, everyone would have been tired by the end so they would basically just score with the fresh lungs for the first half, so they would basically just score first half, and be too tired to score at the second half. That usually how it happens in basketball games, teams who play back to back games score normally on the first half, but their shots go short most of the time on the second half, defense of course gets affected as well but offense usually gets affected even more. I don't know how they were able to score this much on the second half, after all defense wasn't the only thing that was affected, offense should have been affected as well but I see the goals and they were pretty awesome so I guess not.

Has anyone noticed that all three top teams in the 2nd Bundesliga got a goal in extra time?

I did and not only that but there were a lot of goals scored in the second half, almost twice as many.

First half total goals scored (Bundesliga + Bundesliga 2) = 18
Second half total goals scored (Bundesliga + Bundesliga 2) = 33

I remember commentators of Leipzig vs. Freiburg mentioned that they expect to see goals scored late in the games because players did not have enough time to prepare and their fitness is far from optimal. Freiburg looked super tired after the 65th minute and barely crossed the half-line, it is a miracle Leipzig did not score more than 1 goal, they had a few great chances. I expect that trend to continue this week, more goals scored in the second half + late goals, after 80th min.

Very nice share, thanks for that.

Hertha vs Union Berlin next Friday. Hertha ML @2.32 / Union ML @3.20...people still think there's a "home advantage" while playing behind closed doors  Roll Eyes

What do you guys think about the WhoScored's Bundesliga Team of the Week? Are you missing anyone?
IMO thuram over Plea would've been better. He was a beast throughout the whole game. How long until a top team comes asking for him?

Has anyone noticed that all three top teams in the 2nd Bundesliga got a goal in extra time?.
<...>
Nice catch!

But this tells me that either these teams (top 3 in the league table) don't know how to defend or the other teams have quality players who show up at the right time to score crucial goals...Hmm, i'm gonna go with the former =P

Well, that first matchday with all these restrictions was weird. Finally I could watch football again. But on the other hand it has shown me, that the Bundesliga can also live without spectators.

Has anyone noticed that all three top teams in the 2nd Bundesliga got a goal in extra time?

Bielefeld – Osnabrück  Goal that leads to a draw  90+4
Fürth – HSV Goal that leads to a draw  90+4
Wehen – Stuttgart  Goal that leads to a draw  90+7

IMHO especially Brandt, Guerreiro, Havertz and Haaland played outstanding this weekend. It remains to be seen whether they will be able to maintain their performance in the next few weeks.
-snipped-

I didn't watch all of the matches, but the names you mention above indeed played very well. And Pavard deserved it as well.
