Leverkusen always refused to lose, there were many matches they scored a goal near minutes 90 or injury time.

Yeah the upcoming match against Stuttgart will be interesting to watch, this season both Leverkusen and Stuttgart have improved a lot among other teams in Bundesliga. I think it will end in draw, but I won't really surprised if Leverkusen lose in this match.
Losing is never in their mind, winning or winning is their top priority. Bayern Munich couldn't withstand the pressure coming in from Bayer Leverkusen this season, they kept on a consistent performance, flogging every opponents they came acrossed without stress. Bayer Leverkusen tried and absorbed pressure, winning have always been the top goal for Xabi Alonso. He knows the challenges involved and have fully equipped his team to exert winning mentality. Bayer Leverkusen have been their very best, maintaining unbeaten run till this very moment.

I also thought like that but it seems we were wrong about Leverkusen and they continued to progress without ever tasting victory. But at the moment there are still a few matches left and if we talk about the next match against Stuttgart, I think Leverkusen can still overcome this. The reason is that in the first meeting at the start of the season, Leverkusen did have difficulty facing Stuttgart but they were able to stage a comeback win in the 90th minute and that was enough proof of how their mentality works.

Not only against Stuttgart, Leverkusen has repeatedly survived defeat with a last minute goal and I think that will still be the case against Stuttgart in the second round. Although there are doubts that this will be Leverkusen's first defeat this season, I still believe they are capable of continuing their unbeaten record.

In the Bundesliga at the moment there is only one intrigue left, whether Bayer will lose this season or not. And Stuttugart is one of the last strong rivals for Bayer this season, but in fact Bayer is already a champion and a possible defeat will not affect anything, unless Alonso and the team want to set this record, and go through the entire season without defeat. Stuttgart will have to play away, so it will be more difficult to do, but if this happens, the fans will forgive Bayer for this.

In yesterday's match, Josip Stanisic netted the ball when the referee just whistled pipe, lol . 45 games unbeaten in all competitions.. Shocked

Incredible from Leverkusen. I think in the end they are definitely going to stay unbeaten the way they are going right now.
For some reason whatever it is the injury time, they find extra motivation. If this was any other club or any other coach, I think they would have said that it is OK if we lose the rest of the matches because we have to win two more trophies this season.

But Xabi Alonso is different. He is always going for the win. He is always pushing the boundary. Only four matches left for them in the Bundesliga. And all the matches that they have left are easier compared to this one. But still, the concentration is going to be in the Europa League and DFB Pokal.

Yes, it is indeed incredible from Leverkusen. You could say they have more luck than sense. Scoring a goal in the last second shows a complete different mentality. As you have already written, it is also because of the coach. But that shows if you have a team that wants to win at all costs and fights until the last second. That has always been the case with Bayern Munich in the past. But not this season, everything is different.
You are correct. Bayern Leverkusen players should also be praised; they helped Xabi Alonso win the Bundesliga title and remain unbeaten in all competitions. Bayern Leverkusen keeps producing amazing results every time they play a match. I thought Bayern Leverkusen could lose against Borussia Dortmund because they would rest their best players for the Europa League, but they still get a point against Borussia Dortmund at home.
Bayer Leverkusen is playing something different this year. If the best team statistics in Europe are to be determined, Bayer Leverkusen should be at the top. They are still undefeated in the league and continue their way in Europe at full speed. Their championship made me happy, as it did many people. They worked hard to become champions.
To be honest, no club comes close to Bayern Leverkusen this season in accomplishment. Bayern Leverkusen has won this season's Bundesliga title, with some matches remaining for the season to end. They are in the semi-finals of the Europa League and the final of the DFB Pokal, and they are unbeaten in all competitions. Bayern Leverkusen's performance is perfect because they are getting good results in any competition they participate in.

Leverkusen refused to lose for the first time this season after successfully holding host Dortmund to a draw in last night's match and however I am still very impressed with the winning mentality that Xabi Alonso's men have. Even though all the time Leverkusen had difficulty scoring goals and even had to concede a goal first after Fullkrug scored in the 81st minute and put Dortmund one step closer to winning the match.

However, what happened got even worse, where Boniface received a red card and with only a few minutes remaining Leverkusen had to be forced to play with 10 men. From then on, I thought it was over for Leverkusen to maintain their unbeaten record and everything had to stop against Dortmund. But what we see is still about the magic and feeling of never giving up from Leverkusen and a goal from Stanistic in the minute of injury time saved Leverksen from defeat. Highest appreciation for the Leverkusen players who never take the results for granted.

Yes, I have seen many times how a club that won the title ahead of schedule lost motivation and their results worsened, but this is definitely not the case with Bayer. Previously, I was skeptical about the idea that Bayer could go through the entire season in the Bundesliga without a single defeat, but now, given the fact that there are only 4 games left and the most difficult one is the home game with Stuttgart, I began to believe in it.

I thought Bayern Leverkusen could lose against Borussia Dortmund because they would rest their best players for the Europa League, but they still get a point against Borussia Dortmund at home.
I also thought that Bayer Leverkusen would lose that match yesterday after seeing that the match had reached ninety minutes where Dortmund was still leading with one goal. But this still did not apply to Bayer Leverkusen because in the final minutes of the match Stanisic was able to break through Dortmund's goal until the match ended in a draw. It can be said that before the match ends there is always the possibility and opportunity to get results that are beyond many people's expectations and this was truly proven at Bayer Leverkusen.
Leverkusen surprised almost everyone in that match, because from what I heard from my friends' conversations and also when I saw social media, they didn't seem to believe that Leverkusen could survive defeat against Borussia Dortmund. But they really did it, yes they were able to score a goal when time was at the end of the match.
Xabi seems to have given doctrine to his players so that they cannot be beaten this season. Their status is champions now, and usually when a team has confirmed itself as champion, they won't care about the remaining matches, but that doesn't apply to Leverkusen and that makes me even more convinced that they really want to record a record without defeat this season. Huge appreciation for them, both players, coaching staff, and even management who have succeeded in bringing Leverkusen this far. This is the result of all their hard work this season so they can show something truly extraordinary.
What Bayern Leverkusen did against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga shows that they want to finish this Bundesliga season unbeaten. Bayern Leverkusen players mentality is high, and they don't know how to give up until the final whistle. If Bayern Leverkusen continues performing like this, they will finish unbeaten in the Bundesliga because they still have the same hunger to win their matches when they have yet to win the Bundesliga title this season.

Neverlussen is the right nickname for Bayer so far because they are unbeaten and this record beats the records that have been set by other strong teams in the Bundesliga and other leagues.
I don't know what motivation Xabi Alonso gave to his players so that his squad was always motivated to continue scoring goals when they were behind and maintain their unbeaten record.
In fact, several times Bayer Leverkusen almost lost when they played against Qarabag in the European league and also several matches in the Bundesliga but they managed to get out of the pressure well.
Bayer players' mentality has been one of the keys to their success so far, and hearing Xabi Alonso's statement that they were also targeting the European League title, so this was a signal to their opponents that they would face tough resistance from Bayer because the next target is this trophy.
Leverkusen new nickname will become more valid if they appear unbeaten in the Europa League and DFB Pokal, which will automatically lead them to win the treble winner. There are 4 remaining matches in the Bundesliga, and they will play the final match of the DFB Pokal, and if they advance to the final in the Europa League, the total number of remaining matches that Leverkusen will play is 8. On paper Leverkusen has proven themselves unbeatable in 45 the matches they have played, which in my opinion in the remaining 8 total matches, Leverkusen will be able to maintain this magical record.

The tough challenge that Leverkusen will face in their remaining matches in the Bundesliga is facing Stuttgart, their other three opponents are relatively easier. Meanwhile, in the Europa League, facing Roma is certainly more difficult than facing Atalanta or Marseille in the Final, even though we realize that Atalanta cannot be underestimated. Meanwhile in the DFB Pokal, their opponents were also relatively easy. Overall Leverkusen are on their way to an unrivaled record, we don't know where they will stumble.
Honestly Leverkusen never lost, so it is not like a shocker that they did not lose again, that is what people expect from them. And yes Dortmund really needed that win, they are not even in top four right now, meaning they would be out of UCL spots if they finish here, which shocks the world and they expect better from Dortmund, but not any other team above them managed to win against Leverkusen neither, that is why I think we should cut some slack on Dortmund.

This should be a game they got a tie, better than a loss, and from here on out they could try to get wins. This should be something that could give them an advantage and could actually get to top four if they could end up with a better movement later on as well.

Yes and I think the most difficult one they had left before the game against Dortmund, was the Dortmund game. They just turned Bundesliga champions, played away from home and Dortmund so urgently needed the points. I thought that will be the game where Leverkusen's winning streak (or not losing streak) comes to an end. Yet again, they score that goal. So fun to follow them this season. Always some nice action to watch no matter what minute of the game it is and no matter what situation they are in. So far I think it looks as if the team stays together for the most part. I am curious to see next season whether they are able to do something similar to what they have achieved this season. It seems impossible, but if someone said that the table would look like this after 30 games, I would have said that it isn't possible ever.

There still 4 matchdays left and it should be possible for them maybe to get the 4th place back.
But for sure there main focus will be the upcoming Champions League game against Paris.
If they win the next game against Leipzig in Leipzig they have the 4th spot back , it will be hard but if they keep playing as they have don lately they have good chances.

I will be a big blow for Dortmund if they failed to finish in Champions League zone. It will hit hard their mentality, because this could be a continuity of their last season failure. Dortmund would have had a difficult situation to recover from. The fact that they still have focus on the Champions League semi-final makes things more complicated for them to go on.

It's impossible for them to focus only on one competition to save their fate for next season. Having a slight chance to Champions League and another chance to finish top four is a dilemma that doesn't have a right solution to solve, because they are not favorite in both situation. If they failed in one of those, things can get worse for the future.
Dortmund are faced with an unpleasant situation, where they are required to be able to perform stably in the Champions League and Bundesliga. The draw against Leverkusen was certainly very painful, because it happened in the last minute, if we had secured full points yesterday, perhaps the situation would have been a little different. We know that Leverkusen this season has been outstanding throughout the season, and that is a fair result for both teams.

Meanwhile, regarding Dortmund chances in the Champions League, I think their chances of beating PSG are low. Previously they had faced each other in the group stage, and Dortmund did not have the strength to beat PSG. Regarding Dortmund competition with Leipzig in the Bundesliga, the opportunity for Edin Terzic team to finish in the top four of the standings is still open, and next week they will face each other.

If Dortmund are eliminated in the Champions League by PSG, then fail to finish in the top four at the end of the season, then this is a very embarrassing season for them, as painful as Bayern losing their dominance to Leverkusen.

Dortmund is losing their chances to return to the 4th position, the one point they secured against Leverkusen has made it 2 point difference with Leipzig, also if Dortmund wants to qualify for the next Champions League, I think they should keep winning their games because Leipzig are capable of maintaining the 4th position.

The match between Dortmund v Bayer Leverkusen yesterday resulted in a draw, the same as in their first meeting thisseason with the same score also 1-1. I think, although Bayer Leverkusen is still very consistent with its unbeaten record, but Dortmund has a better way than Bayern Munich to hold Bayer Leverkusen to a draw. But yes, I think Dortmund also has a close chance of beating Bayer Leverkusen in its two matches this season in the Bundesliga and as such, Dortmund is a difficult opponent for Bayer Leverkusen this season because they only got a draw.

Because, in their two meetings this season, in reality Dortmund always managed to score first but indeed, in yesterday match Dortmund were reall yunlucky.Because after all, Bayer Leverkusen goal also occurred in the minute of injurytime and it was really at the last minute of thematch because the referee added +8 and Bayer Leverkusen scored in the +7 minute. It was bad luck I think for Dortmund because it was only a matter of seconds before Dortmund managed to beat Bayer Leverkusen this season butyes, in the end Bayer Leverkusen still managed not to lose.

A remarkable season for the entire club, But thereafter, a club had an incredible performance such as what Leverkusen has done, what that usually drops their performance the next season is reshuffling of players, basically selling some and sending some on a loan, Now they have the league cup in their hands and at the verge of ending the season with an unbeatable record; Therefore since they missed out on the Champions League this season, Their aim should be towards lifting the trophy come next season and try not to make big changes in the team and to keep their form over to next season. Going on away game and picking up a point from Dortmund was indeed a good thing.

Xabi Alonso succeeded in making the Leverkusen team solid in all its lines and he was also able to build a strong chemistry within the Leverkusen squad so that there was no significant difference in performance even though player rotation was carried out.
Leverkusen managed to equalize in the last minute against Dortmund and that prevented them from their first defeat of the season, it was truly extraordinary and I almost couldn't believe what I saw in this match, Xabi Alonso really made the Leverkusen team truly superior this season .

Xabi Alonso rotating players during the match against Dortmund is quite natural because they have already secured the Bundesliga title and chose to focus on the European stage so rotating is the right thing for the coach to do, but there is no difference in quality even against a strong team like Dortmund is an extraordinary thing.

Yes, I absolutely agree that this was a good decision from him to rotate the players. Because the main target right now is the Europa League championship and also the DFB Pokal. and of course, they are targeting to win both of them. But I have to appreciate the passion that they have for the game. Even though they have already secured the Bundesliga title, they were really passionate to keep the unbeaten run going.

I guess they were also really happy to actually not to lose against a team like Dortmund. This is a great team with a great coach achieving great things. Of course, it was not done by only the coach. The players also had to believe that they were able to do it. I think any other coach could not have been able to make them believe that they could achieve such things. They are looking to get three trophies in a single season now.

Asides the Coach, the players too deserve an accolades for their performance this season as they have been able to really get to achieve much more than was actually expected of them this season because before now they were like an average team in the bundesliga and now they are even much more better than the best team in the bundesliga and achieving so much that even the bundsliga giant is giving way for them.

There are times when this boys have been able to pull up some spectacular surprises and so it's very much deserving of every form of recognition because i know insome games they will get to the point where they will be loosing in the first half only to get to the second half and they will get a come back and end up winning in some games while in the other they will be able to end the game in a draw but they always make sure to stay unbeaten bother in their home and away and this has actually given them the record they have gotten this season till this point.

The team spirit been exercised amongst these boys is another too that has helped them a long way to be able to achieve this much such that they make sure they are not totally dependent on any one but collectively making sure the team stays productive and their coach has been coming up with very dynamic and functional tactics which has been most productive for them all through the season.

Of course the players are actors on the field and they are the successors to implementing the strategy given by Xabi Alonso. Without them, Xabi couldn't do anything, and without Xabi, they wouldn't be able to do anything either. This is something that cannot be separated between players and coaches, they both fight for the success of the team they defend, namely Leverkusen.

Players who were initially considered mediocre in the cold hands of Xabi they can do their best and they now have an increased market value. This is Xabi's genius in seeing the potential of the players he has. Also, players can respond to the trust given to them by showing all the abilities they have.

In my opinion, there are several players who will be targeted by big clubs in Europe thanks to their good performances with Leverkusen. But I don't know whether Xabi will let the player go or not. Because he has created excellent chemistry between the players at Leverkusen.
