Leverkusen refused to lose for the first time this season after successfully holding host Dortmund to a draw in last night's match and however I am still very impressed with the winning mentality that Xabi Alonso's men have. Even though all the time Leverkusen had difficulty scoring goals and even had to concede a goal first after Fullkrug scored in the 81st minute and put Dortmund one step closer to winning the match.

However, what happened got even worse, where Boniface received a red card and with only a few minutes remaining Leverkusen had to be forced to play with 10 men. From then on, I thought it was over for Leverkusen to maintain their unbeaten record and everything had to stop against Dortmund. But what we see is still about the magic and feeling of never giving up from Leverkusen and a goal from Stanistic in the minute of injury time saved Leverksen from defeat. Highest appreciation for the Leverkusen players who never take the results for granted.

In yesterday's match, Josip Stanisic netted the ball when the referee just whistled pipe, lol . 45 games unbeaten in all competitions.. Shocked

Incredible from Leverkusen. I think in the end they are definitely going to stay unbeaten the way they are going right now.
For some reason whatever it is the injury time, they find extra motivation. If this was any other club or any other coach, I think they would have said that it is OK if we lose the rest of the matches because we have to win two more trophies this season.

But Xabi Alonso is different. He is always going for the win. He is always pushing the boundary. Only four matches left for them in the Bundesliga. And all the matches that they have left are easier compared to this one. But still, the concentration is going to be in the Europa League and DFB Pokal.

I thought that this match would be the first defeat for Bayer, but Stanisic saved Bayer again, and even the Champions League semi-finalist could not defeat Bayer. ) And Bayer was in no way inferior to Dortmund, a very good match considering that they were playing away. And this despite the fact that the victory for Dortmund was very important, since they need to maintain their place in the top 4, and now they are two points behind Leipzig.

From the good achievements they have achieved this season, of course we think that Leverkusen is not only a great coach, but their players also perform quite well, so it is not surprising that every match they fight tooth and nail to win. Leverkusen can now focus their energy on the European League because the opponent they face is quite difficult for them to beat.
Each team has a different style of play and that is why Leverkusen is different from other teams because they are united between the coach and the players so that there is closeness between the two so that there can be unity, just look at Leverkusen's style of play even though they don't have many famous and most expensive players. even though they were able to make Leverkusen get good results so they could make an unbeaten record this season, that's why Leverkusen deserves to get the Bundesliga title this season because they are very consistent.

Apart from the Bundesliga, Leverkusen also performed brilliantly in European leagues such as UEL, they have not experienced defeat since playing in UEL, that is why Xabi Alonso seems to have a special ingredient to make Leverkusen a good team, I admit that it cannot be separated from the coach or the players, both compact with each other, that's why in a team, if they play compactly, it will be easy to face even difficult opponents. Leverkusen will of course be more focused on UEL for now considering that they have won the Bundesliga title this season.

Unbelievable work indeed! Literally in the last moments Stanisic saved the team. But if Dortmund became the team to end their streak I wouldn't be very sad honestly. At least they wouldn't lose to a small team.  Tongue

I'm very curious about how long this unbeaten streak will continue. I feel like it won't end during the remaining Bundesliga games. The only way might be in the Europa League if they don't win the title there. However I don't expect them to leave the title to any other team left either. Xabi Alonso is very determined to win everything he can with his students this season. It is highly likely for us to see Leverkusen finishing the season with 3 titles 2 of which you already mentioned.

Yes, it is indeed incredible from Leverkusen. You could say they have more luck than sense. Scoring a goal in the last second shows a complete different mentality. As you have already written, it is also because of the coach. But that shows if you have a team that wants to win at all costs and fights until the last second. That has always been the case with Bayern Munich in the past. But not this season, everything is different.
Leverkusen is quite strong in the Bundesliga where no team this season has been able to beat them because it is the 30th match this season where Leverkusen is still unbeaten. What surprised me was that all the Leverkusen players were able to maintain their rhythm to maintain their hopes of not being defeated. In yesterday match, where Dortmund managed to score a goal in the 80th minute. in fact they were unable to maintain the advantage they had because in the 90+7 minute, Stanisic was able to score a goal that prevented Leverkusen spared lost in yesterday match.

Yesterday in the German Bundesliga game between Borussia Dortmund and German champions Bayer Leverkusen, Josip Stanisic scored a stoppage time goal to help the away team avoid suffering a defeat for the 45th consecutive time and that goes a long way to tell how significant Xabi Alonso have improved the Bayer Leverkusen team as well as the teams mentality. There's this
current belief in the Bayer Leverkusen team that they can achieve anything even when it seem almost impossible to achieve and that's the spirit of a true champion if you ask me.
Bayer Leverkusen are still unbeaten in the German Bundesliga this season and with four games remaining before the end of the league campaign, Xabi Alonso's men are very likely to do the invincible by going ab entire season without losing a league game
Yes Josip Stanisic saved Leverkusen to maintain their record and if this really continues then Leverkusen will be the only team that has managed to keep its record as an unbeaten team for full season.
With this draw, Dortmund also lost good opportunity to be in the top 4 and Leipzig, as the team that occupies that position, really feels more comfortable.
In their match we can see that the game of both teams is almost equal and they tend to play quite carefully even though Leverkusen front line has the advantage in attack percentage.

They have got the Bundesliga and now they only need to focus on the DFB Cup final and also the Europa League semifinals.
Leverkusen have had all the opportunities well and I believe they can make new history by achieving treblewinner success.

Leverkusen under Alonso have a strong champion mentality because when people thought they will be lost from Dortmund but Leverkusen didn't give up and they can avoiding to lost yesterday and gets draw result from Dortmund so this result is make Leverkusen can able to managed their unbeated record and as far i remember Leverkusen has been done it several times this season that before this match they can win or draw dramatically from their opponents but for Dortmund this result is very unfavourable because Dortmund now has 2 points below to Leipzig and with only 4 matches remaining seems it's very difficult for them to taking over 4th place from Leipzig

Besides Dortmund who failed to win i saw too Stuttgart was gets unsatisfactory result because surprisingly they lost from weak team Bremen but indeed if we see based on Stuttgart position on League Table this result have no affect for their position because Stuttgart still remains at 3rd place and currently Stuttgart has 6 points above Dortmund and to secured one place of Champion League spots then Stuttgart have to get at least 2 more wins but next match won't be easy for Stuttgart because their opponent is Leverkusen

Unbelievable that Dortmund is giving away that win against Bayer Leverkusen despite playing with only 10 players. They should never concede such a goal after a corner like that, but well, Leverkusen's dream to survive a whole season without a single loss is still alive. They would be the first team ever to do that and I think they took a huge hurdle now that they didn't lose the game against Dortmund. This was the game I thought they could certainly lose.

By now I think Alonso himself can't believe that they once again scored a goal in extra time! This is getting scary! Grin

First of all, I don't think Bayern Munich will be able to win in the Champions League title this season.
Secondly, I doubt that they will be able to win all the matches that they have left in this season in Bundesliga.

I can see in the Champions League, Bayern Munich is going to face Real Madrid next. And I think all of us believe that Real Madrid should be able to win the match. I mean it is going to be played in two legs. Real Madrid should be the one to approach to the finals. And Bayern really does not have anything to win in this season. I believe because they will try to win the Champions League match so badly they are eventually going to lose some Bundesliga matches as well because of the pressure. And I genuinely blame the coach for that. For the downfall of Bayern Munich in this season.
yep, I fully support your opinion regarding how Bayern Munich will fare in the UCL and it is true that in the future Munich will have difficulty in stealing wins from Real Madrid who are currently really very consistent in the UCL while Munich is currently very unstable, it cannot be predicted how the final result but looking at the results of the match against Arsenal in the second leg makes me believe that Munich has a small chance of qualifying for the final round.
competing at home only getting 1 score is not a good result while Arsenal is actually weaker than Madrid and I am sure that if Tuchel does not have a more appropriate method or strategy he will not be able to bring Munich to the final round.

Tuchel deserves to be blamed this season because no matter what happens, he is still a coach who must be responsible for the team's future and this is currently the worst season Munich has experienced in more than a decade, losing the Bundesliga title and also having a small chance at the UCL.
even though at Bayern Munich the arrival of a very great player like Kane means that Munich should get better results but Kane presence actually makes Bayern Munich worse but this is not about Kane fault but Tuchel as a coach who failed to rotate Munich players imperfectly.
so the results obtained this season are really very bad.

In the remaining Bundesliga matches, I'm not sure whether Munich will be able to consistently be in the runner up position and if they can't maintain their position in the runner up position and are overtaken by Stuttgart, this will be the craziest season that Bayern Munich has ever experienced.

No matter how many lashes from Bayern Munich against Union Berlin at Berlin's home ground, it won't have any effect other than just winning because Union Berlin is really weak this season. And as for Bayer Leverkusen itself, I don't think it needs to be said any more because the team has already celebrated its championship this season in the Bundesliga. Even though Leverkusen will continue to play to win until the end of the season because they themselves also really want to finish this season with nothing at all.
Yes, but we also need to appreciate Bayern Munich's victory this time, at least it provided entertainment to its fans by scoring lots of goals at Union Berlin's home even though we know that Union Berlin's defense is actually very weak. So Bayern Munich was able to win with a fairly big score, even though that was the case doesn't change anything, but actually this victory is very important for Bayern Munich to maintain second place. He is aware that there is no longer any hope of winning the Bundesliga. Therefore Bayern Munich also needs to win to be in second place until the end of the season and will perform well again next season forward corrected his mistakes this season.

Bayern Munich's next match will be against Eintracht Frankfurt, the club that broke Bayern Munich's winning streak for the first time this season in their previous meeting. Bayern Munich had to avenge this defeat as Frankfurt did with a fairly large score because Bayern Munich's defeat was what made Bayern Munich lose their chance overtook Leverkusen so I hope Bayern Munich can respond even though they don't change anything, playing at home will be an advantage for Bayern Munich in scoring lots of goals.

I guess it is still important for Bayern to win these games no matter what, that big win definitely helps boost morale. Think about it this way, with these wins, they guarantee that at least they will be second and not third, which is important because if they kept losing then they could have been third place, so being second place is a lot better than being third place.

Plus, they could finish the season with a UCL title as well, not saying that they will win it all, but they are in semi-finals and that should be the most important part. I believe that we are going to end up with a situation that has to be quite fragile as well, that seems like the most important part of the deal, and they need to keep winning to have good morale for those games.

It seems to me that for Bayern there is no difference between second and third place - not being first is quite a shock for them. And if we remember the humiliation in a personal meeting and the fact that Bayer broke their record for the number of games without defeat, then I can assume that all the worst has already been experienced and Bayern have let the situation go. It seems to me that in the Bundesliga they will play “as it happens” (that’s why, for example, victory over Eintracht Frankfurt is not guaranteed in the next round) and concentrate as much as possible on the Champions League.

First of all, I don't think Bayern Munich will be able to win in the Champions League title this season.

But i dont know how Leverkusen will be making it everytime that they score in the overtime or last Minutes of the game.
A big thing for Dortmund with that draw from that Match.
Also Stuttgart lost today unexpected , damn.
Anyone who saw the match between Borussia Dortmund vs Leverkusen would definitely think that Leverkusen would experience their first defeat of the season, because entering extra time they were still 1 goal behind hosts Borussia Dortmund. But Leverkusen refused to lose in this match when they managed to score a late goal in added time. It came from a header from Josip Stanisic who took advantage of the opportunity from a corner kick.

I saw how Xabi welcomed the goal with enthusiasm, because thanks to that goal he could still extend their unbeaten record this season. This is a very extraordinary thing for Leverkusen, they did not give up looking for a goal until the final second of the match and their efforts produced sweet results for them in this match. Once again they avoided their first defeat of the season. The statistics are fantastic, even though they have locked in the title, the enthusiasm is still burning.
A lot people were saying that Leverkusen would intentionally not play hard for dortmund or stuttgart. The dozens of last minute goals they scored this season in the league, Europa league and dfb can't be a coincidence. No matter what anyone says, this team will finish the bundesliga undefeated. 99% will win the dfb final, if they don't lose to roma, they will go down in world football history as the team that won all the tournaments they participated in a season undefeated, there is no team in history that has achieved this. I think they deserve the utmost respect.
Leverkusen are 14 points ahead of Bayern Munich with the same number of matches played. 8 more matches are left for each team before this league ends. If Bayern Munich were 3 points or 4 points behind they would have had a chance, they are too many points behind so they have no chance of winning the title this season. If Leverkusen wins three more matches, their league tournament is guaranteed and they will focus entirely on the Europa League tournament. Leverkusen have been at the number one position in the points table since the start with a considerable point gap over Bayern Munich and the team has never dropped down from the number one position in the points table, making it easy for them to win the league title.

For Dortmund, the draw has made things difficult for them to break into the top four of the standings, because Leipzig indirectly benefited greatly from the draw. The competition for tickets to the Champions League will now be the only interesting thing in the Bundesliga, and next week Leipzig will face Dortmund directly. Meanwhile, we can see how influential Leverkusen is this season, they not only broke Bayern Munich dominance, but made the Bundesliga more competitive, including making Dortmund suffer.
Dortmund again failed to defend their victory after they were ahead in the 81st minute, previously  I think, the game against Dortmund' will be the first defeat for Leverkusen this season and of course it will break the unbeaten record of Leverkusen all season, but again lverkusen came back with the winning mentality they had finally able to level the score to 1-1 when the game had entered the last minute,  I think Leverkusen this season not only surprised us with their record and achievements, but the fantastic comebacks they have continued to do this season when indeed the game may end In defeat for them and to be honest we probably won't find it in other teams in the last few seasons.

The draw obtained by Dortmund is of course difficult for them to be able to end the season in the top 4 this season, especially this season the Bundesliga Is only 4 games left, the only way for Dortmund to climb into the top 4 Is to beat Leipzig and that they can do in the meeting between the two teams next week,  last season it might have been easy for Dortmund to beat Leipzig but this season of course Dortmund has to work hard to beat Leipzig because of Leipzig outstanding performance this season.

Of course, the match was almost over when Stanisic succeeded scoring a single goal for Leverkusen. He scored a goal in minute 90+7' and the match was over in minute 90+9'. Josip Stanisic scored a very important goal, this goal keep the unbeaten record of Leverkusen. Again, Leverkusen could score injury time and it is like having great luck during this season.

Sure, Xabi was very enthusiastic with the goal. It was a very crucial goal, he may be almost unbelieve it. Everyone may think Dortmund succeeded breaking the unbeaten status of Leverkusen but the goal made by Josip Stanisic secured Leverkusen. Xabi really brings the mentality of Real Madrid to Leverkusen, we all know it is Real Madrid which very often scored goals and come back in injury time.

I really thought that maybe today is day that Leverkusen will be losing after i have seen that Dortmund was leading at the 88 Minute.
(...)

Coming back from that was nothing short of a football miracle. They didn't even have to win or even draw, as they are already secured as the new Bundesliga champions, but denying Dortmund the win, just reinforced Leverkusen's invincibility aura.

Unfortunately for Dortmund, they are now 2 points behind Leipzig for the 4th place. Both teams will be facing each other next week, so Dortmund will have to win that away game if they're hoping to finish in the top 4.
All this miracles happening in favor of Leverkusen have proven that this is their season so i am not surprised seeing them equalize at extra time because they have done it times without number this season. Miracle seem to happen whenever they play and that is how you know it’s their time to shine because when a team wants to win the league that is how they behave they never want to lose matches and they keep performing magics especially during stoppage times.

I felt they won’t be able to pull any stunt against Dortmund but they proved me wrong and show that they can perform better in the Europa League as well. It won’t be easy though but i really support them to win the Europa League title.
It's true, luck and miracle seem to have combined with Leverkusen this season, but on the other hand, the draw still felt very dramatic because everyone thought their unbeaten record would be broken at the hands of Dortmund. One minute changes everything, that can only be done by Leverkusen this season, because they have the magic to make endless luck. With the remaining 4 matches, it is very likely that Xabi Alonso will be able to bring his squad to a clean sweep of all matches and secure full points, or at least they will continue to maintain their unbeaten record until the season ends.

For Dortmund, the draw has made things difficult for them to break into the top four of the standings, because Leipzig indirectly benefited greatly from the draw. Another comeback from Leverkusen and this time they did it against Dortmund.
We know Dortmund was not a weak team, they are playing in the Champions League while some other teams like Manchester City got out of this tournament which can show their power and their good performance however they were lucky. But in the game against Leverkusen, they were very close to finally beating Leverkusen and winning this team.
By beating Leverkusen, Dortmund could be the first team they could beat Xavi Alonso and his players during this season.
But in the last moment of the game, Leverkusen scored the goal at 90+8' and they got a draw against Dortmund to stay unbeaten.
