Bayern Munich suffered a defeat at home against Dortmund. Dortmund failed badly last season but they helped Bayer Leverkusen win the league. I think this result tells us the whole decline of Bayern Munich. Bayern's football this season and Tuchel's luck are over. After a long time, we will finally have the opportunity to see the new champion of the Bundesliga this season.

It seems some coaches like Zidane, Ralf Rangnick, and even Julian Nagelsmann are all linked to Bayern Munich to work in this team in the next season. But I don't think if Nagelsmann will accept an aoffer if he gets an offer from Bayern Munich. We can't forget they got him fired during this season and hired Tucle instead of him. Also, Nagelsmann doesn't have a good relationship with some players in Bayern Munich including their goalkeeper Neuer.

Playing at home to Borussia Dortmund who hasn't been consistent this season, I was of the opinion that it'll be an easy day at the office for the German champions but after I tried to check the scoreline of the game, I was shocked to see that Bayern Munich were embarrassingly beaten at home by Borussia Dortmund. Bayern Munich's boss Thomas Tuchel have been directed by the club to leave at the end of the season but of he fails to reach the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League competition after the poor run of form in the German Bundesliga, the club management might be forced to sack him before the end of the season.

After watching Munich win the Bundesliga for a long time, since then it looks boring, I remember last season when Dortmund should have won it and broken Munich's dominance but apparently they failed in the last match, it was not an interesting spectacle so I regretted watching the match at that time where Dortmund failed to get a complete victory in front of all their supporters who were ready to celebrate the title for them, but it turned out that Munich won the Bundesliga again.

I am sure that this time Leverkusen will not be easily chased by Munich for the remaining few matches at the end of this season, because Leverkusen continues to maintain their consistency even though at the end of the season they failed in several matches, it seems they will survive and win the title this season, finally I see the champions new to the Bundesliga after being dominated by Munich for so long, this will be the best season for Leverkusen without being defeated and able to break Munich's dominance to win the title this season. I also hope that Xabi Alonso stays at Leverkusen and sees him bring Leverkusen to UCL level and compete with the best clubs in Europe. BTW, Munich's defeat to Dortmund provides a very big opportunity to see Leverkusen become champions this year.

I can add that finally Bayern Munich will be kicked from 1.Bundesliga thrown in a humiliating way and worst they might find themselves fighting for the second position with Stuttgart.
Bayern Munich not only lost that game home by two goals to zero, they found themselves far away from Bayer Leverkusen by 13 goals and this gap is still changing every couple of rounds with Leverkusen not losing any of their 39 last games in row.
So there is 7 games left, where Bayer Leverkusen are required to win only 3 to be declared champions. This will obviously happen so I would congratulate Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso from now for their big achievement!

With Bayern's loss to Dortmund this week followed by Leverkusen's win over Hoffenheim it's certainly too late for Bayern to catch Leverkusen now although if it's possible there's a miracle that Leverkusen lose 5 games which seems unlikely.
The current points margin is 13 and that's enough for Bayern to give up on the trophy and have to give up the league they've dominated for the last 11 seasons.

Xabi is breaking new ground as he has been phenomenal as the new coach who has managed to disrupt Bayern's current dominance.
I was expecting something like this last season but since Dortmund couldn't do it last season, now that Xabi has done it, it's not bad and I think we'll be celebrating a new Bundesliga champion this season.

Finaly it has happend that Dortmund has won in Munich , damn i cant believe it really , and that without scoring a Goal from Munich.
And my bet was coming true as placed it for the win on Dortmund.
I havnt seen anything from that game but looks like Bayern Munich has got the most ball possession ,

It's true, the competition for the Bundesliga trophy has finished, the 13 point difference in the standings is impossible to overcome because Leverkusen is still very consistent in being unbeaten. I was quite surprised by Bayern defeat, I thought they could beat Dortmund, because on paper Tuchel fleet was favored to secure 3 points because they played host. However, luck was on Dortmund side, and Bayern have now collected 5 defeats.

Bayern defeat to Leverkusen was a sign that the defending champions were indeed experiencing a bad season, where their dominance over the last decade was broken by Leverkusen. Besides that, Dortmund's victory was perfect revenge, where in the first half of the season they were humiliated in front of their own supporters, and most recently they responded elegantly.

There is no doubt that Leverkusen is worthy enough to win the Bundesliga trophy this season. Xabi squad has shown impressive quality and mentality throughout the season, and they are just a few match away from achieving their goal. On the other hand, Leverkusen can lock up the trophy early before the season ends, and they deserve high appreciation from all football fans with the record they have set this season.

Currently, Leverkusen's consistency has put them in the top contending spots for the Bundesliga title. And it's so certain with just few games games to determine the victor, there's every certainty that there will be change of hands this season. Definitely they've held and will hold onto the pressure for a while and for Leverkusen, they are not resilient in pursuing that major aim. Alonso and his squad aren't giving up and weekly they put up a whole different energy towards that trophy race.

 Comparing Xabi's abiliy based on his performances with his team, it'll be fair to admit his superiority in skillset. Leverkusen when Xabi took over had to start from scratch to build up to where they are now. So far Xabi, he has been a good boss and his methods have worked perfectly for Leverkusen. One would wonder how he managed to put up such feat for the team considering the spot he picked them from. It's one quality that can definitely be found in a good manager.

 Leverkusen have been impressive in all rounds and it's not surprising that they're now better than some already grounded teams. It only means that Xabi has a unique managing quality which can be of essence in bigger teams too. I believe he's still got good plans for the German team, which will still be manifested good. In the Europa League, there's been top contending teams from the start till the current stage of the contest.

Well from the beginning of the tournament, we know that it'll only be the tough teams that'd survive. In essence it's safe to say that if the draws are favourable, then Liverpool would battle with Leverkusen in the final game of the tournament.

It happened more than once this season and they came back from behind to win the games both in the Bundesliga League Competition and also the European Europa League Competition.
They're now thirteen points clear of Bayern Munich? Wow! This is a good time to be in support of another club other than Bayern Munich.
Hoffenheim did gave them a tough time but look at how Champions with winning mentality approach games. Whata beautiful comeback into the game to win it.

To be honest, even if for example Bayern Munich win this match, I still believe that Bayern Munich has completely lost the chance for the Bundesliga trophy this season. Obviously, when Bayern Munich lost big by Bayer Leverkusen with a score of 3-0 at that time, of course that defeat was really proof that Bayern Munich lost the competition for the season title with Bayer Leverkusen. So yes, I am surprised that there are still those who think Bayern Munich has a chance to overtake Bayer Leverkusen because after all, Bayer Leverkusen is really very impressive this season. Bayer Leverkusen conceded first in the 33rd minute due to a goal from Maximilian Beire, a Hoffenheim player. even though Levekusen actually had lots of chances, they were unable to convert them into equalizers. After 88 minutes, Robert Andrich opened the goal to equalize. in the 90+1 minute, Patrik Schick was the winner for Xabi Alonso's squad. well, Leverkusen was able to comeback and increase the points gap from Bayern Munich who lost to Borussia Dortmund. Overall, Xabi Alonso's squad played well and controlled the game. even though they were behind at first, they were able to finish this match very well. According to my estimation in the previous post, Leverkusen will score two goals against Hoffenheim.

Now Xabi Alonso is a little calmer, because they are just a little bit away from breaking Bayern Munich's dominance. Xabi Alonso's team only needs to win a few matches, so they are entitled to the trophy in this competition.
Meanwhile, Bayern had no choice but to focus on the Champions League match after losing to Dortmund.
Well, it looks like Xabi can focus more on the Europa League competition after his team is 13 points ahead of Bayern. Meanwhile, Bayern has no choice but to beat Arsenal in the quarters of the Champions League.

I think it's game over for Bayern regarding Bundesliga title after this defeat today and with Leverkusen putting another 3 points in front , they are 99% champions this year.

Now , the race for 2nd place is back online with Stuttgart being 3 points behind and Dortmund at 7 points behind now and with how Bayern plays , I'm not sure they can keep 2nd place until end of season.

Looking at the current Bundesliga log kind makes you question if the big dogs of the league have gotten bored of the lack of competition and left everything to run at autopilot...both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund nowhere near league leader Bayer Leverkusen 👀 who would have thought... With this performance I don't think Bayern has what it takes to compensate for this in the champions league either and I see them packing when the meet Arsenal no doubt that!!

Am also wondering what Harry Kane would be thinking right now for not helping his team not to secure another Bundesliga trophy 🏆,  and btw they will be lucky to finish second if they keep playing like underdogs as they seem to have given up.
