Bayern Munich 0:2 Dortmund.

With Bayern Munich dropping points again today it is very impossible for them to catch up with Bayer Leverkusen again since they only have few matches remaining and they are 13 points behind Leverkusen who is not ready to drop points with their recent records of coming back to win matches even when it seems impossible, can we come to conclusion now that Bayern Munich has lost out of the title race, what's your take on this?

Another two-minute flip from Bayer Leverkusen. They really take their unbeaten streak seriously. Even a draw is not enough, they turn around and win all the games they are behind. I've never seen a team like this. We're witnessing something we haven't seen for a long time. They want to end the season undefeated. They deserve to win everything.
I was surprised to see Bayern Leverkusen struggle to beat Hoffenheim in the league, even though they were at home. Late goals from Andrich and Schick were enough to give Bayern Leverkusen the needed three points against Hoffenheim. With this 2-1 home win, Bayern Leverkusen is still leading Bayern Munich by 10 points in the Bundesliga table.
Leverkusen have won this way very often, I don't think this is luck but they do have quite good quality, the late goal they got to turn things around was because of the never give up spirit which they continued to do by attacking Hoffenheim's defense until the end. they were only able to score a goal at the end of the match.
Leverkusen is still very strong at the top of the standings and I think no team can beat Leverkusen in the Bundesliga this season.
Again, Bayer Leverkusen have proven that they're a team who's determined enough to end the season with the German Bundesliga title at the end of the season with their scintillating come back against Hoffenheim today in the German Bundesliga. When Hoffenheim scored in the first half to lead in the game, it didn't change my prediction that Bayer Leverkusen will still win the game but after 80 minutes of the game, Bayer Leverkusen were still trailing by a goal to nil which made to think that they might likely lose their first league game of the season. Bayer Leverkusen scored two goals in three dying minutes of the game to make sure they claimed all three points from the game and mount pressure on second placed Bayern Munich who lost to Borussia Dortmund. The German Bundesliga title I think is 85% won by Bayer Leverkusen' and what a time it'll be for the club manager Xabi Alonso to end Bayern Munich's dominance

Congratulations to Bayer Leverkusen again for not allowed their opponent to beat them in their home and, I like the way they made the game to ended up 2:1 for the favour of Bayer Leverkusen to continue remain on top of the table and, it will give their fans never to reduce their trust in them.

I guess Bayer Leverkusen coach will surely receive a massive award from this performance from this tournament because, his team is doing well the way their president and fans want the team to perform in this season.

Dortmund is in front with 1 Goal in Munich now.
Yeah, and Bayern are still losing by that one goal and the game is almost over. If Bayern Munich loses this game, they can start resting their players in the league and concentrate totally on the champions league, because that is the only hope of a title for them this season. Leverkusen are so close to the Bundesliga title right now, they'll want Dortmund to hold on to that lead and send them 13 points ahead in the table. Xabi Alonso is about to do what a lot of us have been waiting to happen for many years now, and that is to take the title from Bayern Munich, now it is surely going to happen this season.

Yes, I get the impression that Xabi/the players sold their souls to the devil or something like that  Grin
According to statistics, Bayer dominated, but still, a few minutes before the end of the game, they were losing and were able to complete everything in their favor. If this had happened only once, it would have been understandable, but they have been doing this literally all season, and where other teams, having fallen into decline, begin to lose points, Bayer still gains them.
I wonder if Bayern will be able to turn the game around against Dortmund (they are currently losing 0-1) or if Bayer will become the official champion in just a couple of rounds.

I guess Bayer Leverkusen is just being very lucky for getting the late winning goals which is very common to teams that are potential league winners in a particular league, a typical example of what is happening with the Leverkusen team is exactly what happened the last time that Liverpool won the Epl, they will be struggling to score a goal in a game even though they are onw goal down they will score two goals that will be unimaginable and at the end they will take 3 points. From the performance of Bayern Munich in this game, they don't look like a team that wants to come back in the game because Dortmund is still dominating them in shots on target and their ball possessions are almost the same 54:46 as at the time of this post,  67 minutes played already the home team is a goal down if this match ends like this then Bayer Leverkusen will be 13 points ahead of Bayern Munich.

Xabi Alonso is the most popular coach in Germany after maintaining such huge winning streak record for Bayer Leverkusen, it's no luck but consistent performance from good stats and hardwork players.
Xabi Alonso is one of the best coaches in Europe's top five leagues. This season, no coach has performed the way Xabi Alonso is performing with Bayern Leverkusen in the Bundesliga and Europa League. Xabi Alonso needs to win fewer matches in the league to guide Bayern Leverkusen to win this season's Bundesliga title.
Xabi has done what most coaches has not been able to achieve in their whole career and interestingly he's doing it at the very early stage of his career which makes it more reason why he's getting the attention because it's almost like not normal for him to be getting such results in his first trial as a Coach as many others who has tried it before now has not done this much even in the third year of their career.

It's his first year and he's got a good rythym and also a working strategy and tactics which is yielding results so week that others are beginning to wonder the magic behind his achievement as it's not looking like the regular kind of achievement which others have  gotten often both in their domestic league and in other leagues aswell like the Europa and the other German league where they are fully participating this season., In a matters of few weeks if he's able to still maintain he's winning streaks, he will be crowned the champion of the bundesliga and probably the Europa aswell.

Today they had a beautiful game where the did what they did before the intentional break, they were goals down when they came back and won the game almost at the finish time, they were a goal behind and few minutes to the end of they game the got an equalizer and not only did they end at that but they further went ahead to winning the game , at this point i must say until the final whistle don't give up on Leverkusen.

Before the match started I also thought that Bayer Leverkusen would not experience such difficulties in scoring goals and I also thought that Bayer Leverkusen would win easily at home. But what seemed to be the opposite was even though Bayer Leverkusen was able to secure the three points again with two late goals scored by their players in the final minutes of the match. This shows that Bayer Leverkusen is still an extraordinary team in the Bundesliga because they are still able to win in such difficult conditions.
After the first halftime of the game between Leverkusen vs Hoffenheim i thought that it maybe this game that they lose.
But i just have seen now the result and again the scored the final goals again in the last Minutes to win that match.
Glad about that as my bet was placed for a win for Leverkusen.

Dortmund is in front with 1 Goal in Munich now.

Bayern Leverkusen is amazing this season; they know how to beat their opponents even when the chance is slim. Bayern Leverkusen beating Hoffenheim means they don't want to give Bayern Munich any hope of winning the Bundesliga title this season. If Bayern Munich fails to beat Borussia Dortmund tomorrow, Bayern Leverkusen will be leading them by 13 points in the Bundesliga table.

I like to treat everyone as a friend 🔹
Bayern Munich vs dotmund this match is going to be held soon and today's match i think Bayern will win brilliantly. Currently, Bayern Munich are in a good position in the points table, and although they are in second place, if they win today's match, they will not be able to move into the position of first place Leverkusen. Bayern Munich are still 13 points behind the first placed team, so if they win today's match, Bayern will still be many points behind. And I think Dortmund will definitely play well in today's match as they will fight hard to occupy good positions in the points table and will try hard to attack and win. And in today's match Bayer Munich will not attack so strongly, and they may not field good players in this match. Because if they drop the good stars in this match then if they get injured then they will have to face a lot of problems in the next match in the Champions League. So Bayern Munich is currently not focusing much on the Bundesliga, but they will focus more on the Champions League.

Leverkusen got the 3 points anyway. Maybe it was the break that most teams weren't able to perform as they were doing before the break.
Of the matches played today, the most important result was the draw between Leipzig and Mainz, that's a bad result for Leipzig as they are fighting for Champions League slot against Dortmund. Mainz should have been an easy win. Another shocking loss was Wolfsburg vs Werder Bermen where Werder loss 0-2 against Wolfsburg. Werder now has a long losing streak. Frankfurt and Union Berlin draw too was a setback for Frankfurt team but their Conference League slot might still be secure.

They say when you dream, dream bigger, Xabi Alonso himself definitely Knows how huge the Job at both Liverpool and Bayern Munich are. This is a job of everyone’s dreams and he knows that because Bayer Leverkusen once said he had a clause in his contract to be allowed to move for free to any of these three clubs; Real Madrid, Liverpool and Bayern Munich, now he has two of them to pick from and he is set to reject them. That’s a bold step if you ask me.

Xabi Alonso might have his other reasons but I agree with him that a stay at Leverkusen is a risk that should be taken. He must have saw other managers jumping from a smaller club to a big one and within few months they get the sack. That’s because they haven’t master their craft well. At Leverkusen even if he doesn’t do well next season he will still have less pressure compare to when he goes to the other two clubs and should he do well then his takes are high and might see himself in his home country (Real Madrid). All in all it is a good bet for progress
Xabi Alonso is realistic and he knows the risks he will face if he chooses to train a top team like Bayern or Liverpool so I think his decision to stay at Leverkusen is very appropriate because what Xabi Alonso is doing or deciding at the moment is for the continuity of his future career.
I think it's good for gradual career advancement, not just because in 1 season you do a good job and then go take a difficult challenge at a top team and your career is ruined if you fail.

The risk of moving is greater so the decision to stay is the right one for Xabi Alonso, many are disappointed with his decision, I think Xabi Alonso knows better what is best for his future career.

And Xabi Alonso's continued stay with Leverkusen next season makes it possible that the Bundesliga will be fierce again in the race for the title, and this will be even more difficult for Bayern if Xabi Alonso is able to create or maintain Leverkusen's performance like this season.

I just wanted to place a few bets on today's Bundesliga matches, but the odds are too low for the outcomes I wanted to bet on. A Bayern vs Dortmund win is at 1.33. I don't see it as clear cut, but I still think Bayern is the favorite. The same goes for Leverkusen. A win against Hoffenheim is at 1.19, which is understandable given the run Leverkusen have had, but is also very low in the profit/risk ratio.

The odds for Frankfurt against Berlin are interesting. Frankfurt is clearly favored here. I see the game as rather even, so it would be a good profit/risk ratio with odds of 4.2 for a draw and 6.42 for a Berlin win. Thus, I have bet a small sum on a draw or win for Berlin for 2.81. I'm curious to see if that works Smiley

If you are completely sure that Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen will win easily, then you can still choose other options to get bigger odds. After all, betting on football matches is not only about home, draw and away because after all, if you are sure that the team you choose will win easily, then you can still bet with an Asian handicap for example for Bayern Munich -2.5 which will certainly make you get bigger odds. There are other ways of course, such as betting on the results for the first half and second half and of course, betting with this option will make your bet more interesting when compared to just betting with the 1x2 option.

But regarding the match between Bayer Leverkusen v Hoffenheim, up to now in the 88th minute the score is still 0-1 and Hoffenheim is still leading from the 33rd minute. Is it possible, Hoffenheim will give Bayer Leverkusen their first defeat this season, especially in this match also Bayer Leverkusen playing at home, it will be interesting to look forward to because maybe Bayer Leverkusen will get deadlocked after the season break.

Well, Leverkusen made it again and turned the game from 0-1 to 2-1 in the 93th minute. Unbelievable run. Besides of that I won my bet. Frankfurt vs Berlin ended 0 - 0, and as I wrote, I bet on a draw or win of Berlin. The odds were pretty good, so a nice gain.

Thinking about to do the same for the Bayern vs Dortmund match. Odds for a draw or win of Dortmund are 3.41. Still not sure and undecided, but seems to be a fair profit/risk ratio since Kane is not going to play  Cheesy

Alonso staying at Leverkusen surprised me. Big offers from Bayern, Liverpool... that takes guts to turn down. But hey, respect the man's ambition. If he pulls this off, doubles down on the success, his value goes through the roof. Long game, that's what I see. He's betting on himself, on the team.

Could backfire, sure. Football's a fickle business. Leverkusen has a bad year, the knives come out. But you know, you gotta admire the guy. He's not just looking for the biggest name, the easiest path. He wants to build something, leave his mark. Succeed there, and every top club in the world will want him, not just those two

I think the offer that comes from Bayern Munich will only come once in his lifetime especially if next season Bayern Munich have found the right coach, but of course Alonso's stay at Leverkusen gives him the opportunity to prove to all parties that his current achievements at Leverkusen are not a fortune, and of course it would be a bigger bargaining point if Alonso could take Leverkusen to a high level not only A season but two consecutive seasons can be done by Alonso.

Staying in Leverkusen can at least be a ladder for Leverkusen to increase its bargaining value next season, at this time Alonso only needs to maintain all his best achievements this season next season so that he will remain a target for big club clubs, but of course staying in Leverkusen also provides a risk for him if later Leverkusen actually falls,  If Leverkusen slumps next season, of course, Alonso's achievements this season will be said to be just a fortune for the novice coach, and of course it will make him will not be in demand by big teams in the future.

FYI, currently Leverkusen is 1 goal behind TSG Hoffenheim, which is very surprising.
It's now nearing the end of the game. didn't expect Leverkusen to lose at home.
Currently, there are still 7 matches remaining in the Bundesliga. and there is a possibility that Munich will catch up to a 10-point gap. of course with heavy conditions.
I just don't want to see a repeat of last season's situation, when Dortmund almost took the trophy. but it was thwarted by Munich who kept the trophy in their hands until the final decisive match.
Just hope Leverkusen doesn't lose focus for the next matches.

They didn't lose, Robert Andrich & Patrik Schick scored goals in the final minutes of the match, precisely in the 88th and 90+1 minutes Cheesy. Is there anyone who didn't expect it? OFC everyone didn't expect this to happen, how could Hoffenheim concede in the final minutes even 2 goals Roll Eyes. Congrats to Leverkusen, they have managed to get one step closer to becoming champions in the Bundesliga.

Bayer Lerkerkusen again show their mettle to come back from one goal down and snatch all three points. This is what they have done so well this season, stay in games for as long as possible and go all out once they get a sniff of a chance to win. Elite mentality to have in a title race.

Bayern are facing their long term rivals Dortmund, if they fail to win, the title race is all but over.

The new coach from Wolfsbrug has his first game today. Wolfsburg have lost their last 11 games in a row and are now looking for their first win against Werder Bremen. Werder Bremen is actually a good opponent for this. Because Werder Bremen have lost their last 3 games. In addition, the two strikers Njinmah and Kownack are missing. And Niklas Stark is also missing in the defence.
From all indications and with the current situation of the match at this time which is almost 90 minutes of the game, Wolfsburg new manager Hasenhuttl started his journey with a win away from home against a strong opposition Werder Bremen. This shows that Wolfsburg can now be free from relegation threat because they will be  nine points away from the relegation zone.

Bayer Leverkusen has extended their title chase with a victory over Hoffenheim today. They are unstoppable this season, this will be an amazing win for them after Alonso confirmed that he will be staying for another season with the team.
Bayern Munich by now should have given up on the title race this season because I don’t think they can make it anymore.
