Anyone else can't stop thinking that Borussia Dortmund just gave away the match to Mainz? They're currently losing 0-3 (79th minute), and it's hard to believe that Mainz, a team from the bottom of the table, became so good all of a sudden to beat the Champion's League finalist just like that.

The truth is, Mainz is desperate for a win while Borussia can be satisfied with the 5th place, as it will allow them to play in the Champion's League next season even if they lose in the final.
In fact, Borussia finishing 5th instead of 4th, could mean that we could see 6 German teams in the Champions League next season, as per this article (which I linked earlier):

I dont know who is struggling the most and for now i would say Union Berlin after they was leading with 2 goals the lost against Cologne with 3:2.
As the game between Mainz against Dortmund is still running Mainz is in front with 3 goals and right now out of the relegation zone.
What crazy results from this matchday , havnt expected the most of them and lost most of my bets.

Dortmund fielded all its young players and reserves today to face Mainz, Dortmund, which has already confirmed a place in the Champions League zone next season and also still has a very important match in the Champions League final this season, of course does not want to get risk injury to its main players which it might happen if they field their main squad to face Mainz today, for now of course Dortmund is no longer chasing victory in that match and of course they are playing today match just to give the young players and reserve squad a chance to played, so it's not surprising if Mainz wins 3-0 with very easily and it's fast and currently only takes less than 20 minutes.

What the bookmakers are looking at is the reality on ground. Now I know that this match is not important at all. But I would be interested to see if they actually care about the record of not losing a single match intact. Because if they are interested in doing that, they will have to give concentration in the Bundesliga matches that are left. But I think it is obviously going to be a better idea to actually concentrate on the Europa League final and also the DFB pokal. Because they have the chance to win two more profits. And I think that is going to be more iconic rather than just having no losses in the Bundesliga. Now of course it is going to be incredible if they can actually close the season by having no losses at all in all competition. But I think they should concentrate on getting the two trophies that they can because they are already in the finals. And not losing any Bundesliga matches should be a byproduct of their confidence.

I think Dortmund may not be playing with full strength and confidence at the moment, it does look a bit strange to see Dortmund concede three goals just like that, they look very weak at the back which allows Mainz players to score three goals easily, but the game is not yet is over because it's possible Dortmund will respond and come back, as long as the match isn't over we can't conclude Dortmund's current strength, but if they end up losing it won't hurt them either, because they'll still get UCL tickets next season and won't be chasing the difference in points. with Leipzig.

It will not be possible for Eintracht Frankfurt to catch up with Dortmund because the point difference is very far, Dortmund losing is also impossible because there is score fixing. This season Dortmund is bad in the Bundesliga, but I think Dortmund can still perform well in their matches, besides Dortmund failure in the Bundesliga does not make their fans sad because now Dortmund managed to reach the Champions League final, so I think maybe Dortmund will be able to repeat the feat of last season when they failed to get the Bundesliga trophy but they triumphed in the DFB pokal,  For this season maybe they can win the Champions League trophy even though they failed in the Bundesliga.

Borussia Dortmund this season in the German Bundesliga haven't been impressive but they've managed to remain consistent in the UEFA Champions League competition which was why they were able to reach the final of the competition. They're currently in the fifth position in the German Bundesliga standings but have played two games fewer than fourth placed Leipzig which means that they're going to overtake Leipzig if they manage to win their two outstanding games in the league.
The good thing for Dortmund this season is that they will still be able to play in the UEFA Champions League competition next season if they finish the season in the fifth position because of the fact that five German teams will be allowed to play in the competition come next season. Dortmund have an away game against Mainz this evening and I think they're gonna get a good result in that particular game

Borussia Dortmund did struggle in bundesliga but they always find ways to enchanced their performance. Dortmund coach, Edin Terzic have brought his team to UCL final and it was really a tasty ambition exerted by Dortmund, the players were determined to reach the final and they fought with everything they had to come this far. Borrusia Dortmund have reached important phase in the UEFA Champions League and this is surprisedly one of the opportunities for Dortmund to win a major title but faxing Real Madrid means absolute threat for them.

That's right, there is no problem about winning only with a narrow score of 0-1 like that because after all,basically Augsburg also really needs three points in that home match of course for Augsburg to get into the top seven. The top scorer Guirassy (26 goals) is quite likely to leave the team this summer. I'm saying it because of his release clause especially. It is only 17.5 million euros. It is really like a joke right?    I think he would be signed by one of bigger European teams. Stuttgart are joining the Champions League but it wouldn't be easy to convince him to stay in case of getting an offer from an attracting team.

as you can see in this match, Mainz was actually favored by the bookmaker, while Dortmund was supposed to be the favorite team but had bigger odds.
what I know at the moment is that Mainz is trying to fight in the remaining matches with very strong consistency, trying to hold a draw in every match to continue to get additional points and stay in the Bundesliga.
but in any case Dortmund should never be able to be beaten or even held to a draw.

after making several observations I forgot something that Dortmund had qualified for the final round and that means Dortmund in this match will probably only use second line players and rest the main players.
