At the beginning of season i was never considers Leverkusen as strong contender for race title with Bayern Munich and indeed i know at that time Leverkusen was performing well but i was highly doubt Alonso can able to managed Leverkusen consistency because for race title i personally more considers other team just like Dortmund as strong candidate for Bayern Munich but obviously i was wrong because Xabi Alonso has been proven to us that he can bringing Leverkusen to performing fantastic until week 25 and broke several records
As far i know Leverkusen was never gets Bundesliga trophy and Leverkusen best achievement is when they only can able to being an runner up 5 times and last time they in the runner up position is 2010/2011 and since that season Leverkusen status in Bundesliga is only as mediocre team and if Leverkusen finish at first place until this season ended then it could be their new history because finally Leverkusen can able to gets Bundesliga trophy for the first time and Leverkusen has good chances to make this happen however this weekend Leverkusen will gets tough opponent freiburg
On the other hand, I am sure that Leverkusen will enter the top four in the Bundesliga standings. but what happened was the opposite, Leverkusen was able to show different colors this season. I never thought that until now Leverkusen's position remained safe towards the end of the Bundesliga competition, an achievement that exceeded the expectations of Xabi Alonso and his squad. In fact, so far Leverkusen is unbeaten even though in several matches Leverkusen's luck played a big role in their team's victory.
As for Borrusia Dortmund, Edin Terzic's squad is not like the previous season. The problem is, the front line, especially the pure strikers they rely on, don't contribute much. but at least, Dortmund is still ranked in the top four of the Bundesliga.
back to Leverkusen, apart from the history of Leverkusen that you said. If Alonxo is able to maintain the consistency of his team's squad until this competition is over, that means that in the end, Bayern's dominance has been broken by a team that was not even initially considered and will be a big achievement for Xabi Alonso as well as for his team.
In the Bayern camp, there's not much I can say, but they are also working hard to defend the title they hold so far. But if in the end Bayern's dominance is broken by Leverkusen, maybe it's time for a team to stop Bayern Munich's progress so far. There is nothing wrong with the Bayern Munich squad, nor with Tuchel, however there are many factors that cause it to be like this. However, the impact on the coach will be felt if he fails to defend the title that Bayern Munich has always held. Maybe, it will become a topic of conversation among football fans and Bavarian fans. Well, let's just follow along, there are still matches left until this competition is completely over.
