Did you not see the actual thread man?  Why the hell is everyone spamming this?

On coinchat especially.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--299207

Shit - it can access ALL your data on websites...  Not safe, IMO, even if it was. :/

Wow, didnt even realize there was a original thread. Also to get onto the Chrome marketplace, your app must be tested thoroughly so it should be safe IMO...

"tested thoroughly"

How sure are you about that?

Not very sure Tongue I have removed this from my computer and changed my passwords. I recommend you do the same. I though that to get onto the chrome web store, you app must go through some tests, but clearly it does not...

People never install unknown addons to your browsers. Anyone who did it should completely uninstall browser and reinstall it. Of course change all passwords and other things.
One of the most dangerous attack it just like this one - to hijack users browser, in one time you can have access to many different accounts on different sites.

If you want "free" bitcoin you can place ads (from various reputable sources, q.v.) in your Bitcointalk signature. And you can grind out a few thousand satoshi at a time from those faucets, if that's your thing...

Yea, never install anything that is claiming to give you free money, and if it does, it probably comes at a high price to you.
