Nonetheless, it's important to issue a serious warning to all existing and potential customers. No one should deposit their funds into this service, at least until this situation is resolved.
If anybody does deposit funds they could end up having issues where the account area shows they were not received but could have been credited. Either way, any service being provided has to up to standard clearly they are having problems. They need to post addressing the issues raised here. I also noted they logged in last night and did not post but they might have sent a PM to Anubis123.

If it is a one-man business (I never found any written evidence for that though), then that would explain why questions posed to the live chat widget are completely abandoned.

Fortunately, if the money has been sent to the card, it is in the hands of the banking partner of CoinPayCard and so we can trust that spending them will be successful - some highly annoying mental bookkeeping just has to be done to keep track of your spending.
Hopefully the OP will at least try to sort out the website issues which are stopping from balances showing even after deposits are being made. Maybe that is what has happened in the case of Anubis123. It is simply not good enough for a service provider to not fix an issue such as this even after you highlighted it and the OP manually updated your balance twice.

Whether it is a one man business or not there is no justification for lack of customer care. In my opinion, at this stage it would be premature to call this a scam. It seems more a case of it being a combination of sub-standard communication and website infrastructure issues. I hope the OP will post here to comment and update about the issues being mentioned.

Sure, we might say it's too early to call them a scam, but I don't agree with that. This type of biz shouldn't be relying on just one person in the first place.

EDIT: I made a $13 Renderforest invoice to CoinpayCard just now and it went through successfully (but only tried because my Ezzocard was declined).

At this stage I would still give the benefit of the doubt and say their absence and delay to service could be related to other issues. For example, if they are effectively a one person operation and that one person is taken ill or something has happened to them, then there could be exceptional circumstances.

Yeah, it's possible that some crazy stuff might be happening that's stopping the one-man business from providing adequate customer support. But still, that's no excuse for ignoring the user's PM or the forum thread when their profile shows they were active just yesterday. At the very least, they should inform their customers and the community that they are actively working to resolve the issue.

If I was going through what you or any other depositor was going through maybe I would have a different opinion but right now I think it is too early to call it a scam or say they ran off. If they do not make a statement soon regarding what happened they will have themselves to blame if their account receives several negative tags.

See my opinion about this here (PS. I can also log in and access my account, in fact I did so just now):

Not trying to defend them or anything, but I want to write about my experience with this issue.

I remember in one PM I had with the Coinpaycard forum rep after I experienced this issue (for the 3rd time), he told me that the banking API they use would credit those funds which were loaded, but the website itself has an error and would not show the updated balance.

Each time, this happened when loading the card from the account balance, not when refilling the account balance itself.

One time (and this happened some time around Feb 1st) my balance was showing some really small amount, like $4 or something after I loaded about $60 or $70, but meanwhile my OpenAI payment was successfully processed during this time. I got invoiced, but the card statement was out-of-date.

First two times he actually manually updated my balance to fix the problem. But it is a highly annoying process, and I'm still waiting for him to do it again or to fix the site's API to credit $220 I added a few days ago.

The customer support pages were always unresponsive the whole time - I only got answers via forum PM.

Looks like someone has the same problem as well
I wouldn't trust any of trustpilot feedbacks, it's obviously paid and fake, like that five star from Cameron Chapman saying how Coinpaycard is a very trustable token  Roll Eyes
There are few negative reviews, but more problematic is the fact that they are not responding anywhere (forum, telegram, website, email), and they clearly saw posts and messages from yesterday in forum.
I warned about them in past, and if they don't fix this problem soon you can create a topic in Scam Accusation section against them, and provide all the evidence you can (images, communication, etc).

Hi

I sent them a PM, hopefully they fix this asap

That was not first time I use this service, It's just weird they support page and email are messed up

I hope the issues you mentioned are server related and hope there nothing sinister happening here.

If you have not already sent a PM, you should send one explaining the issue but please keep in mind that his profile shows he has not visited the forum for around 8 days. If you send a PM maybe he will receive an alert in his inbox notifying him of a message: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=3521103

Hi

That address doesn't receive emails

That address doesn't receive emails
That is unfortunate and I hope you didn't deposit a lot of money, but it's not the first time that happened, email address is not working, and there is no support page.
Have you tried contacting them in forum with personal messages and telling them about your issue, I see they have been active today in forum.
There is also option to contact them on their telegram account @coinpaycard (it's in their profile page).

Hi

That address doesn't receive emails

https://i.ibb.co/QKRc4D9/Capture.png

That page does not seem to be working with a 404 page not found notice. I looked around for a support email address and there was one listed at the bottom of their website.

When you say chat support do not respond I presume you refer to the live chat button on their website. If you wanted to send them an email you can do it here: [email protected]

Yoo my card balance was not updated after I funded it

Support chat don't respond

Couldn't find another way to reach out support

@NotATether, I know that it is possible to pay for a product/service whose price is expressed in another currency, but I am wondering if there is an additional fee when converting USD to EUR?

I haven't bought a service that charges in EUR yet - so far, everything that had an EUR price on it was converted into USD by the merchant's payment processor (Stripe or some other), in which case, fees would be applied by that payment processor to the total bill, which is what CoinPayCard then shows on the statement. So I don't think this service applies a conversion fee itself.

When you're already here and you've used the service, have you tried paying for one of the popular streaming services like Netflix or Disney+?

I've already been using gift cards to buy Netflix, but I don't want to waste money on other streaming services which I won't use. Nevertheless I can try linking the card to Netflix and see how that goes.

If I understood correctly, the balance on the card is USD?

Yeah it's USD but you can pay for stuff that are denominated in Euros as well (I tried that).

If I understood correctly, the balance on the card is USD? Is it possible to choose that it be EUR, and if not, is there a possibility that such an option can be added in the future? I am interested in this because there is probably a conversion fee when we pay for something whose price is expressed in EUR, and the balance on the card is in USD.

An additional question is related to privacy regarding the purchase of physical products that we deliver to our physical addresses - the bank that issued the card or you as service providers have insight into such data?

Tbh this yearly general fee makes it a bad deal.
The high transaction fees are somehow okayish for a service like that - but if u want profit from paywithmoon changes and get their costumers, then I would highly recomment to remove these flat for use fees.

As long as an unbiased review is left by a reputable forum members it allows others to feel confident about whether they should test out the service or not. This looks like another piece of excellent customer services provided by a company/business/project when they listen to their customers and take action find a solution fast. I have to say I am very impressed with what I am reading about CoinPayCard.

It looks fixed now. Thanks!
