Compared with other methods of killing ants, there is a way that is easier and simpler. As long as you accurately find the path of the ants in the room, spray the anti-ant potion, and kill all the ants in the house through infection.

My issue has been damn slugs getting in when it rains & my cats eat them which makes them vomit. I can’t put slug pellets down my cats will ingest them if they eat a slug. Where do slugs even live, I feel like finding their nest or whatever & incinerating them.

While in school doing one of our industrial courses, we practiced heliciculture (Snail farming) and ants were one of our problem of which we controlled by using condemned oil or should i say used engine oil to set up a perimeter and it worked to a large extent. You could try that too but, don't forget they are a vital part of the ecosystem and so, controlling is better than fatality.

To remove ants, bai must first spray low-toxicity, long after-effect period, and low-smelling contact insecticides in places where they often enter, such as wall gaps, furniture gaps, refrigerator compressors, and pools. Side gaps, heating pipes and wall contact, wire and wall contact, etc. The degree of aggregation is highest in the cabinet. Next, put the poisonous bait in a medicine bottle cap or a small plastic box, and place it in a place where the ants often move, four or five piles per room. In order to avoid future troubles, the poison bait should be sprayed enough at a time, usually after 7-10 days, it will be effective.

I wish you success in the war against ants, but I think it is better to go to the experts! They will determine the type of ants their means of warfare will be much more effective!

The more natural a product or hack is, the more I like it, to be honest. I guess I could say that I'm pretty lucky that I never had to deal with ants until now. I honestly hope it will remain like this in the future, cause although they are useful insects, they are some of the ones I fear the most. I only had a crow infestation problem, that to be honest was not so horrific as I imagine ant problems would be, and I was able to get rid of it quite easily, following pest control hacks from this page. Only natural ones, because I really don't believe in the use of pesticides, there are so many alternatives out there to those harmful substances.

Every rainy season ants are invading our house particularly my room under my bed. Few times I experienced waking up during midnight dealing with these ants because they are climbing on my bed. My solution is soap and bleach, then after cleaning the area I will put salt to it, my grandma told me this solution and I guess its effective because they didnt return anymore.

Ants are a big problem in every home usually if there is any sweet food on the floor the ants are more likely to come. Lemon citric acid is capable of killing ants the ants sprinkle lemon juice on the places you see. If you want you can mix water with lemon juice and keep it in a spray bottle. If you see ants you can spray even if you put the lemon peel on the sides of the biscuit tin it is possible to avoid the ants.

Try to not have sugar all over your floor (joking haha).

I think a legit solution would be to probably burn their nest (not sure if ants live in a nest, but you get the point)

I also always face the problem of ants and in order to be able to bypass and kill these insects I do the wrapping of their house in addition to buying one of the types of poisons that have a high price and great effectiveness, so you have to get rid of the toxins that are low in price and low in effectiveness and focus only on effective products

Have the same problem here. I'm now using a insecticide spray to get rid of ants. It was quite effective but the disadvantage is I can't spray it into utensils and areas near foods. So better to make sure that you don't left any food or any leftovers since it can attract ants. Also, clean your kitchen frequently and organize and store your foods properly and neatly.

Genuine issue here, does anyone have any good solutions to getting rid of ants?

Last time they started getting inside the house, but luckily they haven't reached that stage yet. I've tried those store bought ant poison pellets, and it seemed to have no impact. I've tried making some sugar water and borax solution and it did attract a bunch of ants to the baits, but it seemed to only get half the ants. So half the area is clear of ants (for now) but there is another stream of ants like a metre away that was unaffected.
I do not know where you are located but here in our country we easily find an insecticide powder and every household usually has that here, just sprinkle that in the corners and all ants will be gone.
Secondly, keep your home clean and dry and make sure no food or sugary stuff is found in your home open even in dust bin and you will see reduction in ants.

There are a lot of products in markets that can help you with that.
Some brands that produce sprays for ants are Raid, Baygon. You will see results from the first  minute you apply that to the ants and the area that they are passing by.
I have a cheap solution to this issue, just use petrol in the place of other chemicals and the ants will never come into that place again but remember you should take proper security measures to you before spraying the petrol it can cause respiratory issues if you mishandle it.

Pests invade homes that are unhygienic and filled with an untidy collection of things. This helps them in finding an easy place to hide and breed. They will look for a place that is nearest to the kitchen as it becomes easy to find left over food. They will also spread bacteria and pathogens at the food preparation area leaving threads that can contaminate the food.

I usually go the old school way when dealing with ants. I burn a paper and slowly lit them up making sure they're all gone. We have kids in the house and cannot let ants just roam around anywhere.

Have also done something unknowingly but it actually stopped ants from my house l, I always look for their nest or hole and pour very hot water on it and when the place have dried up, I pour oil over it. Works really well

In my opinion hot water and oil are more beneficial than yellow powder and soap soaked water if the ants do not come back and destroy their nest once. At present the prevalence of ants is high during the summer.
