Any specific reason why you're doing this through Tor?
I assume to protect yourself from any possible legal repercussions or is there more to it than that?

And any plans to add Belgian footbal to the list? I see you do have the Dutch league Wink
Its not hard to obtain licenses at places like Carcua. This could be probably to protect themselves from their home country due to tight laws. However I doubt a lot of people here trust betting on a Tor based site.

guess who's back
are the deposits here need manual confirmation ?? cause I just made a small deposit to test the site and there is a window that asked me to enter how much I deposited and to provide the tx id !!
I'm ok with one confirmation on the blockchain , but if it needs a manual approve then this is not good at all

anyone had an experience with depositing to the  site ?

About this whole TOR based service. It works both ways users are anonymous but at the same service can go offline with all deposits at any time. Isn't that right?
I am aware that standard non-TOR bitcoin gambling sites can disappear too, but with TOR it is even easier.

You have got the valid point, trusting TOR based service is quite risky and talking about this sportsbook we should trust with all our deposits inside the platform and it may go offline overnight and we even will not know where our bitcoin went and who steal it. Better to deposit in normal sportsbook that have real company in behind and also were licensed one.

15m satoshi is that like 1.5 btc Grin Grin
let the games begin
15 million satoshi is not 1.5 BTC it is exactly 0.15000000 BTC. 100.000.000 is exactly 1 BTC.

Sport bookie without basketball? ... You lost me :-)
At times they do bring basketball games like women's nba but there are a few of such games and it would be nice to have tennis added for us to bet on
yes OP kindly bring more games to attract more and more players to your site the more games we can choose from the more bets you can have it is really nice that you are making this sport house for us here but with so many houses around you need to be more competitive. good luck to your business and let see if you add more games in the future.

"you'll get 100k in free satoshis. If you can reach 15m satoshis you're eligible for instant withdrawal"
That is so cheap. 150x what you start with ? That is not even 150x wage amount that is 150x pure profit. Insane wtf.
Why do you have to use a tor, what advantage is that ? All I see is a way ti minimize your exposure.

Ghostbook - Sports Bookie for the Darknet
I would be very hesitant depositing on this site. I'm not saying it is a scam, but I could easily see sometime in the future a site like this closing up shop and stealing everyone's funds once it gets big enough. I could go into more details, but I'll just throw out that warning for now.

That's why I'm asking what escrow services do people trust?

We've already had quite a few people make deposits and withdrawals, some up some down. That's the way it goes.
If you're worried about losing your money, just make a deposit when you want to bet on a game, then withdrawal the winnings straight after. No risk then.

hey , yesterday I was able to find the champions league matches in your bookie but today I can't find the Europe League events !!
don't you offer betting on the Europe League ??!! or are you willing to add the matches later today ?

in general I wish you success with your site , and I really hope that you can compete with the other bookies and their odds

Europa League matches have just been added. Check them out.
As for Champions League, I'll add them closer to kick off next week.

Life, Love and Laughter...
I'm curious on what type of sportsbook software you're using.  Did you buy your software or did you have to create one from scratch?  I'm also interested in setting up a sportsbook someday and it would be nice to get a few tips from you to get started.  I was thinking of setting one up in the clear web but making it a hidden service in Tor isn't such a bad idea as well.

It's programmed from scratch, it took a very long time. You need to think of every possible way you might be able to cheat or hack the system, then program something to mitigate against that. Not to mention constantly calculating odds and adding the sports and events daily. It's quite a lot of work just to maintain the system. You'll notice our odds have a very low vig, a higher payout to you.

With the clear web, you'll need to understand your countries laws and regulations which is always horribly expensive. They do this so they can maintain their monopoly and tax the hell out of it. Tor and bitcoin restores what true capitalism used to be. We're funding and operating this site out of our own pockets. We put up our own money to payout winners, but if we make a profit, you can guarantee someone will want to tax it.

I'm rooting for you.  Please don't make your sportsbook totally built for profit, but also make it as a political statement as well.  The day we see you become successful is the day of triumph for us all.  Good luck and may the spirit of DPR long live with you.

All the success to you.  Smiley

Very interesting concept and very generous offer. But without trusted escrow how can anyone trust you 5BTC?

I agree, 5 BTCs is a huge amount to entrust with anyone. We don't expect deposits as large as this without some kind of security and peace of mind.

Is there any escrow services that cater to the betting industry?
Who would you recommend? What kind of fees do they charge?

General question to all: Would you make a deposit (at any size) using an escrow service?

Yes, I will deposit and play with you if there is escrow. At least my deposit will be secure if you decide not to pay-out winning.

Maybe someone on the forum list?
