In this situation i do not think i can do anything, and i highly doubt it has anything to do with the username as all registered has never encountered this type of issue, and i have tried several times ad i never got that error.

No not yet because there is no option to change a username . not unless you fix the character issue .

I don't seem to understand how you got that error, can you try it one more time.
Click account settings and select verify email, or maybe you was trying trying to verify your phone number in the email column
